Co-trainer P Wakelin advised Stewards on 30 September that TRICKY RASTUS showed signs of hock and fetlock soreness after racing at Addington on Friday and will undergo further veterinary tests in the coming days.

XMAS BAY - fractious in the score-up causing some disruption to other runners. A final warning was placed on the gelding's barrier record. Notwithstanding this a warning was also issued to M Stratford for failing to make a sufficient effort to be in the correct position when scoring up.
FRANCO SHERBORNE - held up early stages of the run home.
PASSION FLOWER - driver W Low advised that the sliding blinds did not activate due to the cord becoming entangled.
MYBOYLOLLIEPOP - raced roughly in the early stages. Driver P Cook was spoken to for the manner he drove from the 1400 metres after improving to the lead and warned to be more decisive to ensure he races closer to the marker line.
DONEGAL CARNBOUY - broke briefly in the score-up having to be steadied.
MACHS MARETA - had to be steadied near the 900 metres after a slight easing of the pace. Had difficulty obtaining clear racing room throughout the home straight. Stewards questioned driver B Wilmott regarding the tactics he adopted from the 1000 metres when electing not to improve three wide with cover. After considering Mr Wilmott's explanation, Stewards adjourned the matter for further consideration.
ROMANITE - no claims lodged. Held up early and middle stages of the run home. When questioned regarding the improved performance, trainer A Edge explained that the horse had failed to respond with sliding blinds attached at its last start so elected to remove them for today's race. Mr Edge added that the horse was dropping back significantly in class and because of this had expected a forward showing.
PAT CAMPBELL - shifted outwards near the 300 metres when driver C Negus activated the removable gear. Mrs Negus was warned to display a greater level of control to avoid her runner shifting ground at this stage of the race.
AWESOME RUSH - reared on several occasions in the score-up disrupting second line runners with a warning placed on the gelding's barrier manners. Broke soon after the start losing its chance. Trainer T O'Sullivan advised that the gelding will be sent for a spell.
MANINTHEMIRROR - broke briefly near the 900 metres after a slight easing of the pace.

DR CLIFF - fractious prior to the start. Broke near the 500 metres losing its chance.
JAZZY TROUBLE - driver M Heenan was spoken to regarding the manner in which he drove near the 900 metres when he allowed his runner to trail a wheel for some distance.
PASTRANA - hampered by a breaking runner near the 500 metres. Held up in the early and middle stages of the run home.
NOBLE MISTRESS - held up early stages of the run home.
KAPAI - broke in the early stages and failed to settle losing considerable ground. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 500 metres.
FEKITOA - broke near the 1500 metres losing ground. Broke again near the 1300 metres. Stood down to complete one satisfactory trial. A post-race veterinary examination was requested after the gelding appeared indifferent in his action when returning to the stabling area with the examination revealing no obvious abnormalities. The connections advised that the horse would be sent for a spell.
MIDNIGHT MEMORIES - held up early stages of the run home.
PIPER MOSS - broke for a short distance shortly after the start. Trotted roughly near the 400 metres.

A false start was declared due to MYNANASGOTNOTEETH being hampered and breaking then being unable to fully regain its position.
MASTER MILANO - driver G Telfer advised that he had dropped his whip during the running.
MYNANASGOTNOTEETH - had some difficulty in obtaining clear racing room in the early stages of the run home.
OHOKA MATTY - raced wide early stages.
MALINKA - held up in the early stages of the run home.
SHOT IN THE DARK - hung inwards in the home straight when being shifted wider on the track. Held up late in the run home.
MOCKINGJAY - raced keenly through the early stages.

LUCY'S BADBOY - hung inwards from the 200 metres.
TIN ROOF BLUES - broke at the start.
MANNERING - broke in the early stages losing its chance. Placed on the Unruly for future standing starts at the request of trainer F Baigent.
THE CRUISE MISSILE - broke at the start. Hung outwards and paced roughly for some distance near the 1900 metres. When spoken to regarding the performance driver C Thornley reported that the gelding had raced greenly throughout and had been disappointing. Trainer D Thompson advised that the horse may have been better suited to having a trial on the grass before today's race however he expected the horse to derive significant benefit from the run.
EMMA G - broke at the start.
LITTLE MISS LONELY - weakened near the 600 metres. Trainer/driver C Jordan reported that the mare paced roughly throughout.
BALDOON - broke in the early stages. Driver J Young was warned for using her whip when out of contention.
PADDY ME - broke at the start.
AMERICAN BANNER - began awkwardly.
GOLD LEDGER - lay inwards leaving the final bend.
MINNELLI SMILE - slow to begin.

IMRAN KHAN - slow to begin. Held up by a breaking runner in the early stages of the run home.
DIANA HARBOUR - held up early and middle stages of the run home.
DON'T ROCK THE BOAT - broke racing into the first bend.
TAKE AFTER ME - tangled away. Driver R Houghton admitted a breach of Rule 869(2) in that he used his whip on more occasions than permitted by Clause (b) of the Use of Whip Regulations. After hearing submissions on penalty the JCA suspended Mr Houghton's horseman's licence from the conclusion of racing on 5 October up to and including 14 October (5 days).
KIITOS - broke in the early stages. Broke near the 700 metres after striking the sulky wheel of SUNNY GLENIS. Driver M Edmonds will be spoken to regarding this in the coming days.
YOUNG STRANGER - broke entering the final straight.
RUSTY I AM - broke at the start.
RED HOT ROCKET - broke racing into the first bend when being shifted wider on the track to avoid a breaking runner. Lay inwards in the home straight.
I'LDOITMYWAY - broke near the 1200 metres losing its chance.
TRICK STAR - hampered by a breaking runner racing into the first bend.

RAFA NOVAK - stood on the mark losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
A BETTER DANCER - hampered in the early stages. Held up throughout the run home.
LAUSANNE LASS - broke at the start.
SMIRKEN - hung inwards final bend and throughout the home straight.
ADJUDICATOR - lay outwards on the final bend. Held up and lay inwards in the early and middle stages of the run home. Paced roughly near the 100 metres.
FLYINGMASTERWILLIAMS - broke at the start.
SOUNDS BETTOR - hampered by a breaking runner at the start.
CHAIN REACTION - hampered by a breaking runner at the start. Broke after 150 metres when attempting to ease an inside runner down the track.
MAGICOL IDEAL - tangled away. Hampered by a breaking runner after 150 metres.
SHINING FROST - lay inwards over the concluding stages.

PLAYBOY'S BROTHER - weakened leaving the final bend. Broke near the 350 metres.
HEY YO - held up for clear racing room in the home straight.
DESTINY JONES - raced keenly through the middle stages.
BELLES SON - held up final bend. Broke over the final stages. Trainer R Todd advised that the horse had cast a front shoe during the running. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be displaying sacroiliac pain and a very slow recovery. The on-course veterinarian recommended that blood tests be taken and an endoscopic examination be carried out on the gelding in the coming days. A veterinary clearance is required prior to the gelding resuming.
JEN JACCKA - held up in the early stages of the run home.
HARRYSUL - broke briefly at the start. Trotted roughly leaving the bend near the 2200 metres. Trotted awkwardly rounding the final bend and throughout the run home.
HABIBI INTA - lay inwards throughout the run home. When questioned regarding the performance of the entire, trainer P Nairn and driver J Curtin both expressed disappointment with the run and could offer no explanation. Stewards will follow up the recovery of the horse in the coming days.

CORENA LEA - had difficulty obtaining clear racing room throughout the home straight.
FUN IN THE DARK - raced roughly prior to the start and was out of position in consequence. A final warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities.
TURKISH TROUSERS - held up throughout the run home.

BIG SMOKE - broke at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.

SCOTLYNN JUSTIS - when questioned regarding the performance, driver M Williamson could offer no explanation and advised he had been disappointed with the effort. Trainer D Taylor advised that the gelding had a brief freshener after its last start and had been slow to recover after the race adding that in his opinion it would derive benefit from today's run.
JONTY JAMES - paced roughly in the score-up and was back slightly at the start.
AWAYTOCULLECT - held up early and middle stages of the run home.
SKY CITY KING - paced roughly passing the 200 metres.

SIR FORTUNE - cast a front shoe in the preliminary. Driver J Curtin elected to have the other front shoe removed by the farrier prior to the start. Broke at the start.
RAINY RIVER - lay outwards leaving the bend at the 1400 metres and lost ground in consequence.
DI CAPRIO - broke in the early stages losing considerable ground.

BOOMER BAILEY - driver T Williams was warned for trailing the sulky wheel of RAINY RIVER passing the 1800 metres.
JOHNNY EYRE - held up early stages of the run home. When spoken to regarding the gelding's performance driver B Hope reported that the horse had worked hard in the middle stages to improve its position and this may have taken its toll over the concluding stages.

SPICY GIRL BECQUI - driver T Chmiel was warned for using his whip when out of contention.
MISTER SLICK - broke early in the score-up however was able to take up its allocated position at the start. Crowded racing into the first bend by STOMPEM and briefly locked wheels.
STOMPEM - hung inwards racing into the first bend and briefly locked wheels with MISTER SLICK.
ITSOVERWHENITSOVER - raced wide in the early stages until reaching the parked position near the 1300 metres.
DOWNTOWN TRAIN - over-raced in the middle stages.
QUITE IDEAL - hung inwards and paced roughly in the score-up and was back slightly at the start. Paced roughly in the home straight. When questioned regarding the performance driver M Williamson explained that the gelding had been unsuited to the tempo of the race however had been pleased with the horse's effort.
PEGASUS KOMMANDER - held up in the early stages of the run home.
VENETO - held up in the early and middle stages of the run home.
