Race 2 - JUST ESSENCE CATERING MOBILE PACE
Trainer P Robertson advised Stewards on 9 September that TOM RULE has been treated for a lung infection since last racing at Forbury Park on 2 September. He added that a tongue tie will be added to the gelding's gear for its upcoming engagements.

SENORITA MARGARITA - the removable deafeners were unable to be activated despite the efforts of driver A Edge. Trainer B Negus was issued a $100 Minor Infringement Notice for failing to affix the gear so as not to malfunction.
BETTOR BACKIM - hung inwards leaving the final bend.
ZULU COURAGE - held up final bend and in the early stages of the run home.
LIVING LEGEND - weakened near the 600 metres.
ALEXY - hung inwards leaving the final bend.
MYBOYLOLLIEPOP - out of position at the start. Driver P Cook was issued a $100 Minor Infringement Notice. Cleared from the unruly for future mobile starts.

MIDNIGHT MEMORIES - held up early stages of the run home.
MAGIC GALLEON - broke at the start. Will now be drawn unruly at the request of the connections. Weakened final bend.
PASTRANA - slow in the early stages. Trotted roughly at the 600 metres. Continued to trot roughly in the home straight before breaking near the 100 metres. A final warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
NOBLE MISTRESS - hung inwards entering the home straight and shifted into the passing lane. Driver M Perriton was warned to make a greater effort to ensure she leaves the passing lane clear for trailing runners. Miss Perriton advised she would be reapplying a boring pole to the mare.
KIITOS - broke racing into the first bend.
CABELLA NOIR - the connections advised the mare would be racing without hind shoes. Slow in the early stages.

AIRPARK FLYER - driver M Williamson advised he did not activate the gelding's removable gear due to having the field covered.
AWAYTOCULLECT - held up by a tiring runner final bend.
MAGIC BLAZE - broke at the start.
OUT OF ACES - held up on the home turn. Driver B Munro was issued a $200 Minor Infringement Notice after failing to activate the sliding blinds when in a stake bearing position.
TOP BRASS - weakened final bend.
BEAU VISTA - over-raced in the early stages when being restrained.
MORDECAI - raced wide from the 600 metres.
PINE CONE - briefly held up by a tiring runner final bend.

The start was delayed due to the sulky having to be replaced on MAJESTIC MANNEQUIN.
ROGIE FALLS - hung inwards first bend and struck a pylon.
CUCKOOS NEST - over-raced middle stages.
FEKITOA - broke on the first bend. Trotted roughly in the home straight.
LISTEN EASY - broke briefly at the start. Hung inwards from the 1600 metres.
MAJESTIC MANNEQUIN - underwent a veterinary examination after falling to the track at the start and was cleared to race. The near side number was removed due to being damaged. Broke at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
JAZZY TROUBLE - trotted roughly first bend. Driver M Heenan reported that the mare had continued to trot roughly in the home straight.
KAPAI - broke racing into the first bend. Broke with 500 metres to run. Trainer/driver B Butt reported that the gelding had cast the near fore shoe during the running.
MAUDARCHY - broke with 550 metres to run.

BETTERTHANSPRAYING - held up by a tiring runner final bend.
LINCOLN ALBA - weakened from the 400 metres. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Trainer A Mugford advised that the mare would no longer be persevered with from her stable.
BUILDINGANEMPIRE - checked with 250 metres to run.
MAGICOL IDEAL - raced keenly when being restrained to the rear of the field shortly after the start. Held up early stages of the run home.
HE'S A LADIES MAN - over-raced middle stages. Paced roughly near the 1900 metres when becoming awkwardly placed close to the sulky of BUILDINGANEMPIRE. Hung inwards near the 250 metres checking inside runner. Driver B Munro was issued with a warning to make a greater effort to ensure his runner does not shift ground inwards.
MOCKINGJAY - held up early stages of the run home.

MOTU GREAT SENSATION - hung outwards abruptly near the 200 metres.
THE REV - broke shortly after the start losing all chance. Placed on the unruly for future standing starts at the request of trainer T Yesberg.
MAJESTIC DE FENCE - raced wide early stages. Trotted roughly final bend and in the run home.
FUTURE QUEEN - driver S Ottley reported she dropped her whip in the run home.
LADY BEATRIX BOURBON - paced at the start before breaking when being restrained. Held up leaving the final bend and in the early stages of the run home. Trotted roughly over the concluding stages.
TAKENOPRISONERS - briefly held up near the 200 metres. When spoken to regarding the performance, driver M Williamson advised the horse at its last start had worked through the middle stages to gain a forward position but had been disappointing over the final stages. For that reason he was reluctant to do so again, especially as he considered today's opposition to be of a better calibre than he had met on that occasion.

SHECANDANCE - broke at the start. Had to be steadied racing into the first bend.
PADDY ME - held up final bend and early stages of the run home.
ITZ MAJOR LOOK - when spoken to regarding the performance, driver S Ottley reported the horse which was having its first start had raced greenly throughout and she felt the gelding would derive benefit from the experience.
PHOENIX ARIZONA - broke at the start. Held up final bend. Had difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the home straight.
DON'T TELL ANGE - broke after 150 metres. Authorisation of 2nd place was withheld until Stewards were satisfied the mare had complied with the Breaking Horse Regulations in the early stages.
VALZONA - had to be steadied racing into the first bend and broke.
RAFA NOVAK - held up final bend and in the early stages of the run home.
HUEY LEWIS - the boring pole was removed prior to the start after warming up unfavourably.
A BETTER DANCER - raced wide final bend.
PEMBROOK BLUE - broke after 150 metres losing all chance. Driver S O'Reilly reported the gelding had broken its overcheck.
GOLD LEDGER - fractious prior to the start. Broke after 100 metres losing all chance. Driver C Thornley advised he would be recommending that the mare race in hopples at its next start.
XMAS BAY - hung inwards on the bend near the 1500 metres. Again hung inwards final bend and struck pylons. Continued to hang inwards in the run home. Cleared from the unruly for future standing starts.

BIG SMOKE - hung outwards from the 800 metres.
BETTOR TRENZ - held up early stages of the run home.
YANKEE DIVA - weakened leaving the final bend. The over-check clip broke during the running causing it to hang loose.
CHRISTIAN LADY - raced wide early stages.
FRANKIE JONES - paced roughly final bend.
KINGMAKER - underwent a veterinary examination at the start and was cleared to race. Improved wide without cover passing the 1200 metres.
JACK PACK - improved wide without cover passing the 1600 metres. When questioned regarding the performance, driver T Williams advised the horse had travelled well however raced roughly on the final bend losing ground.
