SOUTH PARK - tangled away losing ground. Raced greenly down the back straight on the final occasion. Hung inwards exiting the final bend.
KATIKI LAD - gave ground on the final bend.
WAYWARD ROC - broke negotiating the first bend effectively losing its chance.
MAKE MY DAY - broke passing the 400 metres losing its chance.
BOBINUP - trotted roughly negotiating the first bend. Trotted roughly throughout the run home with driver M Williamson reporting that due to this he did not activate the removable deafeners applied to the mare.

THISLADYROCKS - raced wide in the early stages.
ME AND MY EXCUSES - broke in the score up and was several lengths back at the dispatch. A warning was placed on the mobile barrier record of the mare.
BETTER GALLEON - raced keenly throughout the running. Held up for clear racing room through the early and middle stages of the run home.
FLOGGING MOLLY - held up early in the run home before pacing roughly and breaking free of interference, losing its chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.
DRIFTIN AWAY - held up for clear racing room early in the run home.

IT'S A LAUGH - struggled to maintain its trailing position through the early stages despite the efforts of driver A Milne.
BUSH MAN - raced fiercely through the middle stages. Driver M Williamson advised that this had taken its toll on the gelding's ability to finish the race off more competitively.
STUNIN JOE - out of position at the dispatch despite the efforts of driver P Hunter.
LAST HARAH - held up early in the run home.
DREAMINSOVER - cleared from Unruly for future mobile start engagements.

MY GEORGIE BOY - held up early in the run home.
DISMARA - raced wide through the early stages.
DONEGAL CARNBOUY - trainer Mrs L Jones was charged a $25 colour fee. Driver J Cox reported the removable deafeners had activated prematurely prior to the dispatch and due to this the gelding had over-raced.
T C BUSINESS - broke free of interference near the 200 metres when utilising the Passing Lane. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
TETRICK - held up early in the run home.

POLDARK - driver S Walkinshaw admitted a breach of Rule 869(2) in that he used his whip more than is permitted by Clause (b) of the Use of Whip Regulations. After viewing replays and hearing submissions on penalty the JCA imposed a suspension of his licence to drive from the 9th September 2018 until the 6th October 2018 inclusive (3 days).
AMERICAN MAC - locked wheels with an outside runner exiting the final bend, having to be steadied.
BATTLE AXE - hung in the score-up and as a result was slightly out of position at the dispatch.
SHERRY BABY - became awkwardly placed to the back of POLDARK upon entering the home straight and broke for several strides. Driver T Williams reported he would be recommending gear changes.
ABSOLUT RUSSIAN - locked wheels with an inside runner exiting the final bend, having to be steadied.
BIGVALLEY - improved wide from the 1200 metres proving difficult to steer and weakened considerably from the 700 metres. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities. Inconvenienced entering the home straight.

TOBY O'GARA - trainer/driver N Williamson expressed disappointment with the performance of the gelding. Stewards will follow up the recovery in the coming days.
EL CAPITAN - driver J Cox admitted a breach of Rule 869(2) in that he used his whip more than is permitted by Clause (b) of the Use of Whip Regulations. After viewing replays and hearing submissions on penalty the JCA imposed a fine of $200.
IVANA LEGACY - held up for clear racing room at various stages throughout the run home. Driver A Armour reported that due to this he did not activate the sliding blinds.

GOTTA GOOD LOOKER - locked wheels with ZENOLA'S ART prior to the first bend. Held up throughout the run home with junior driver K McNaught reporting that due to this he did not activate the removable deafeners applied to this mare.
LITTLE RAIN - inconvenienced entering the first bend.
ELVA JACCKA - paced roughly exiting the final bend when awkwardly placed close to the sulky wheel of GRACE BURNS.
SPICY GIRL BECQUI - held up early in the run home.
ZENOLA'S ART - locked wheels with GOTTA GOOD LOOKER prior to the first bend resulting in the mare being unable to be driven forward.
LIS AMORE - held up throughout the run home.
EDIE JACCKA - became awkwardly placed close to the wheel of ELLNBAC entering the first bend, having to be steadied and shifted up the track. Hung inwards throughout the run home.
GRACE BURNS - raced greenly entering the first bend, having to be steadied.
 
Race 8NET TEN EOM AT MACCA LODGE HANDICAP PACEVideo  Video 
JABALI - tangled away. Held up on the final bend and early in the run home.
BALIUS - broke at the start. A warning was placed on the standing start record of the gelding.
OSSESSIONE - weakened from the 350 metres.
FIERY FERRET - held up by a tiring runner on the final bend.
IDEAL DRAW - broke at the start. Authorisation of second placing was withheld until the Stewards were satisfied the gelding had complied with the Breaking Horse Regulations when breaking at the start.
TIZIANO - weakened from the 450 metres. When questioned regarding the performance driver M Williamson advised the mare had not appreciated having to race in the parked position and is better suited to being driven with cover.
DELIGHT MY SOUL - broke at the start. Authorisation of third placing was withheld until the Stewards were satisfied the mare had complied with the Breaking Horse Regulations when breaking at the start.
 
Race 9PEAK AT ALABAR HANDICAP TROTVideo  Video 
MATAI JETSTAR - stood on the mark as the start was effected, losing considerable ground.
CASCADIA - underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was cleared to start, having not started for an extended period.
LAURA BUSH - broke negotiating the first bend. Help up by a tiring runner on the final bend and further held up through the early and middle stages of the run home.
SAGE TROUBLE - broke just prior to the first bend, losing its chance.
MICKEY JAY - paced away and had to be checked into its correct gait by driver M Williamson, losing its chance.
KO WRECTED - broke negotiating the first bend losing its chance.
DUSKY EYRE - the outside sulky tyre became deflated near the 400 metres after making contact with the inside sulky wheel of GREY POWER.
SCARLETT LANE - weakened over the concluding stages.
KING CASSIDY - paced away and had to be checked into its correct gait by driver B Barclay, losing its chance. A warning was placed on the standing start record of the gelding.
KIWI CRUSHER - pre-race warmed up.
 
Race 10WINTON WORKOUTS MOBILE PACEVideo  Video 
OMAR SHARIF - held up early in the run home.
NO MORE CHANGE - weakened considerably from the 700 metres. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no clinical abnormalities.
STICK MAN - out of position at the dispatch. Driver R May was warned to ensure he maintains his position on the mobile barrier until the dispatch. Paced roughly and broke passing the 800 metres and hung inwards thereafter. It was reported that this colt had got down on its bumpers.
I'M TROUBLE - trainer O Lawrence was charged a $25 Colour Fee.
UNLOADED - hung inwards when racing around the bend by the 1300 metres.
MAGNETIC WATCH - broke briefly near the 800 metres.
