MRS ZIPPY - Amateur Driver B Hadley was questioned in regard to him electing to shift out of the trailing position behind the leader prior to the passing lane. He explained that he thought the lead horse was under pressure inside the 400 metres and considered shifting off the running line passing the 350 metres but waited until the 250 metres as his mare needs to be held up for a sprint. After shifting outside the leader he became placed in a position where there was insufficient room to improve. | |
CRACKARED - Amateur Driver C Wigg was cautioned in the manner in which she shifted ground inwards shortly after the start approaching the first bend when she placed MRS ZIPPY and RUNCLE in tight quarters. | |

YSHADOWME - caught three wide early then continued to improve three wide middle stages before being improved in an attempt to go forward but was unable to cross WHITEHAVEN BEACH which was over racing to its inside passing the bell and then weakened out three wide over the final 600 metres. | |
