Co-Trainer G Knight advised Stewards on 10 August that blood tests conducted on FERRITTS SISTER have revealed an enzyme count issue. This is currently being treated and the mare will return to workouts before resuming.

WAYWARD ROC - broke in the early stages before switching into a pace. Broke again near the 700 metres.
MATAI JETSTAR - hung inwards on the final bend and trotted roughly throughout the home straight.
DANIELLE MARIE - Driver M Williamson reported the mare had trotted roughly throughout and due to this he was unable to drive out with any vigour over the concluding stages.
LAURA BUSH - improved wide without cover through the middle stages. When questioned regarding the performance Driver B Orange reported the mare had hung inwards on the bends and he was somewhat disappointed with the effort.
JANUCCI GIRL - weakened from the 800 metres. A warning was placed on the racing performance of the mare.
NOTTINGHAM K TWO - trotted roughly on the final bend.

GIVE HIM A CHANCE - hung inwards over concluding stages.
POLDARK - paced roughly shortly after the start. Weakened on the final bend.
STICK MAN - hung inwards when improving near the 1000 metres.
BEAUDIENE OVERTAKE - over-raced for a distance passing the 800 metres.
ROBYNS PLAYBOY - held up on the final bend. Driver C Ferguson was warned for the manner he drove rounding the first bend when attempting to shift another runner inwards when not in a position to do so.
FLOGGING MOLLY - broke at the start. A warning was placed on the mobile barrier record of the mare.

BROADWAY BANNER - hung outwards throughout causing Driver M Williamson difficulty. Shifted outwards in the home straight. A warning was placed on the racing manners of the gelding. Mr Williamson advised he would be recommending gear changes.
JAMIES BAD BOY - paced roughly after 150 metres.
BETTER GALLEON - held up early in the run home.
TACT DENZEL - hung inwards on the final bend.
KIWI BLOKE - raced wide without cover through the early stages.
THEODORA HOPE - raced wide in the early stages.
DOUBT ME NOT - hung inwards over the concluding stages.
ONEDIN EXPRESS - Permission was granted for the gelding to race in alternate colours. Raced wide in the early stages. When questioned regarding the performance Driver D Dunn reported the gelding had travelled poorly throughout and had been very disappointing. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities.

The start of this event was delayed 3 minutes at the request of the TAB.
ANNIE FITZ - raced wide in the early stages.
TUHERBS TWO - raced wide in the early stages. Hung inwards throughout the home straight.
EL DINERO - raced wide in the early stages.
GOTTA GOOD LOOKER - paced roughly in the home straight. Driver K McNaught reported he was unable to activate the removable deafeners applied to the mare due to the cord breaking.
T C BUSINESS - hung inwards throughout the home straight.
FATHERDANTHERODEOMAN - when questioned regarding the performance Driver D Dunn reported that the gelding had received every opportunity and in his opinion was a false favourite.
BOLD RULER - raced wide in the early stages.
IWANADANCEWITSUMBODY - paced roughly rounding the first bend. Paced roughly on the final bend. M Williamson reported the mare had hung inwards throughout.

BONO HEST - held up on the final bend. Hung outwards in the home straight.
MISS BAMBOOCHA - broke near the 500 metres.
ANOTHERSUPERSTAR - hampered near the 850 metres by a breaking runner. Broke near the 500 metres.
BRIAN - broke shortly after the start losing all chance.
AMABEDE - broke near the 850 metres.
EDEN CREEK - weakened on the final bend. When questioned regarding the performance Driver J Morrison advised he was disappointed with the effort however could offer no explanation. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare was showing signs of being in season.
GRACE O'MALLEY - raced wide in the early stages.
SPLASH COLA - broke rounding the first bend.

FRANCO HUNTINGTON - paced roughly on the final bend.
JAMES BUTT - weakened on the final bend.
TIZIANO - hung inwards on the final bend and again near the 150 metres. Driver M Williamson reported that he would be recommending gear changes in an attempt to rectify this tendency.
MAIDONTHEBEACH - out of position at the start. Driver J Campbell was issued with a warning.
FRANCO TAI - out of position at the start. Driver M Hurrell was issued with a warning. When questioned regarding the performance Driver M Hurrell reported the gelding races best when saved for one run, however had been unsuited to the tempo of the race and having to improve very wide on the final bend.
MALIK - lay inwards throughout the run home.

KAGEE VC - broke at the start.
SHEEZA SPORT - fractious prior to the start. Broke in the early stages. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
ELVA JACCKA - fractious prior to the start causing a delay. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
HEDONIST FRANCO - fractious prior to the start causing a delay. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Weakened from the 700 metres.
MELINA LOWE - broke at the start. Held up on the final bend.
MOTU TOP MACH - Permission was granted for the gelding to race in alternate colours. Broke at the start. Raced wide in the early stages.
SHEZACULLENGIRL - broke at the start. Paced roughly rounding the first bend.
DODGETHEBULLET - paced roughly near the 1400 metres and was forced to race wide briefly. Weakened on the final bend. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities.

GRACE BURNS - Driver K Barclay was charged with a breach of Rule 869(2) in that she used her whip on more occasions than permitted by Clause (b) of the Use of Whip Regulations. After viewing replays and hearing the evidence the JCA upheld the charge and suspended her licence to drive from the conclusion of racing today up to and including 22 September (5 days). Mrs Barclay was further reminded of her obligations to drive her horse out to the end of the race.
SHINDAL - weakened on the final bend.
