Race 3PI & GJ KENNARD BLOODSTOCK MOBILE PACEVideo  Video
EXTREME GUEST - Stewards questioned driver A Fitzgerald as to whether he could have made a better effort in the early stages to retain a position behind BRINGITONHOME. Mr Fitzgerald explained that his horse was fresh up from a considerable spell after sustaining a leg injury and had recently raced roughly in the early stages of a trial and so had added shorteners to the gelding's hopples today and because of this was reluctant to pressure the horse in the early stages. Mr Fitzgerald added the gelding, despite its handicap rating, struggled to compete against this calibre of opposition and it was his intention to nominate for an upcoming Amateur drivers race where he felt his gelding was better suited.

He said for this reason he only waved his whip this evening and used his reins sparingly. Mr Cameron added that it was his intention to drive the mare in a similar manner in future. Stewards were satisfied that Mr Cameron's explanation was reasonable and took the matter no further.

BILLIE JEAN - over-raced in the middle stages. Broke after making contact with the sulky of JUNGLE GEM near the 400 metres.
