Race 2 - WHAT THE HILL STANDING AT WOODLANDS 2018 HANDICAP TROT
Subsequent to the meeting connections advised Stewards that they had reconsidered their decision to spell PUMA ROAD given that the gelding had recovered well following its run.
Race 5 - SIMS PACIFIC METALS SOUTH OF THE BOMBAY SERIES MOBILE PACE
Driver P Butcher (COUNT LANDECK) explained that shortly after the start he had elected to shift down onto the back of ANNALIESE LINCOLN due to the trailing runner ROCK N SHARD being back off ANNALIESE LINCOLN's back, however, Driver S Phelan (ROCK N SHARD) had been able to kick up to hold the position which resulted in HUNTER BROMAC being obliged to race three wide entering the first turn. Mr Butcher further explained that he then elected to restrain his horse to allow HUNTER BROMAC to shift down to the position to which he felt it was entitled before improving forward to race outside the leader. After considering the matter no further action was deemed necessary.
