| TAIERI MISS - hung outwards and over raced in the early stages. Continued to hang outwards throughout the race. Driver B Williamson reported that the mare was hitting its knees during the running. | |

| JESSIE KELLY - hung outwards final bend and shifted up the track checking YANKEE MISS which broke. When questioned regarding the filly's performance Driver B Hope advised the filly locked on its inside rein and proved difficult to drive. A warning was placed on the filly's racing manners. A post race Veterinary examination revealed that the horse had bled. This runner is now stood down for 30 days and pending a Veterinary clearance (including scope) and on receipt of that, a satisfactory trial. | |

| BEAUDIENE EMERALD - Driver B Williamson was spoken to in regards with the way he drove around the final bend when allowing his runner to shift inwards and contact track markers. | |

| NEVE FRANCO - when questioned regarding the improved performance Trainer N Bishop advised that the horse had over raced at its last start so she elected to add a tongue tie to the mare's gear for tonight's race. Miss Bishop also added that the slower overall time of the race had benefited the horse. | |
| EL CAPITAN - checked racing into first bend. Raced three wide from the 1500 metres. Weakened final bend. | |

| DEN'S LEGACY - raced keenly into the first bend and then broke proving difficult for Driver B Hope. A warning was placed on the geldings racing record. Raced keenly round the final bend when held up for racing room and ran out of room over final stages. | |
| PETE'S DASH - paced roughly in the score up and was out of position at mobile dispatch. Checked racing into first bend. | |
| ALEXY - over raced early stages when attempting to shift out into the two wide line. Had difficulty finding clear racing room over the final stages. | |

| MUSTANG GT - gave ground from the 800 metres. Driver J Morrison could only advise he was disappointed with its efforts. A post race Veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards will follow up with trainer J Gameson in the coming days. A warning was placed on the geldings performance record. | |
| COMMAND LUSTRE - hung inwards shortly after the start and made first bend awkwardly. Raced wide from the 1400 metres. Paced roughly and pushed wide final bend in tight quarters and had to be restrained by Driver S Tomlinson. | |
| LITTLE RAIN - raced wide early stages. Pushed wide final bend. | |
| THE MANIPULATOR - over raced middle stages. Broke near the 300 metres after improving wider on the track and placing outside horse in restricted room. Drivers K Butt, S Tomlinson and T Cameron were spoken to regarding this incident. After viewing the films and hearing from the drivers, T Cameron was warned to exercise greater care when shifting ground. | |

| BHAKTI - Co-Trainer C Kennett when spoken to regarding the improved performance of the gelding advised that it had been racing without luck in recent starts however he was surprised with tonight's performance. | |
| FLEUR GALLEON - weakened from the 500 metre mark. A post-race Veterinary examination showed the horse to have a suspected split pastern. Trainer S Lock advised the horse was now retired. | |
| MY BLUE HEAVEN - gave ground rapidly from the 1800 metres and was eased out of the race. A post race Veterinary examination revealed an abnormal heart rhythm. This horse is now stood down pending a Veterinary clearance which is to include the results of an ECG. | |
| DREAMINSOVER - hung inwards and paced roughly near the 300 metres. | |
