Race 10 - FORBURY PARK CLAIMERS SERIES (HEAT 2) MOBILE PACE
Trainer G Anderson was fined $150 for scratching his runner SMOOTH MARA from a claiming race and therefore being in breach of the Claiming Races Regulation 2(f).

Trainer R McIlwrick advised Stewards on 6 July that THE LITTLE ONE has been sent for a spell.
Race 5 - MEMORIAL NIGHT 12TH JULY 2018 MOBILE PACE
Trainer C Ferguson advised Stewards on 6 July that ROZZANO has had its hocks injected since last racing at Forbury Park on 28 June and will continue with its current preparation.
Race 7 - THE BLACKDOG KITCHEN & BAR MOBILE PACE
Trainer B Gray advised Stewards on 4 July that ELVA JACCKA has recovered well subsequent to its disappointing performance at Forbury Park on 28 June. Mr Gray added that the mare has worked well this week and will continue with its current preparation.

Co-trainer J Cox has reported that blood tests taken from BEG HALL showed the horse to be suffering from an infection. He said they had also taken a lung wash and undertook to notify Stewards of the results.

FANCY WOMAN - Junior Driver S Tomlinson was issued with a warning for being late to arrive at the start.
TAIERI MISS - Driver P Williamson was issued with a warning for being late to arrive at the start. Broke on final bend and shifted inwards abruptly checking MAJESTIC ROSE. A warning was placed on the mare's racing record. Trainer/Driver P Williamson advised that it was his intention to add a boring pole to the mare's gear.
MAJESTIC ROSE - broke at the start losing considerable ground. Heavily checked final bend by breaking runner.
 
Race 2FIELD MARSHAL 'TAYLOR MILE/MESSENGER DOUBLE' MOBILE PACEVideo  Video 
DONEGAL DAVY BOYD - raced keenly in the middle stages.
LUCYS DELIGHT - broke in the score up and was out of position at dispatch with a warning being placed on the filly's barrier manners. Weakened from the 400 metres. Trainer/Driver B McLellan reported that the filly would now be going for a spell.
YANKEE MISS - broke leaving the final bend.
OLD LUKE - hung throughout causing Driver M Hurrell some difficulty. Lost contact with the field at the 1900 metres. Mr Hurrell reported after the race the gelding had been striking a wheel and hanging throughout.
BATTLE AXE - paced roughly near the 1600 metres losing contact with the field. Weakened from the 400 metres.

DREAMINSOVER - broke approaching the 1700 metres losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the geldings racing record. Will now be drawn unruly at the request of the connections.
CLIFTON FLUTTER - Driver C Ferguson reported that the blinds were not activated due to the cord becoming entangled.
TRIBECA - improved wide near the 700 metres then hung inwards badly on the final bend racing roughly and losing ground in consequence. When questioned Driver D Dunn reported the gelding had objected to the boring pole. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing record. Trainer G Anderson advised he would give consideration to replacing the boring pole with a rein pricker.
FLEUR GALLEON - raced roughly in the score up and was out of position at dispatch. Continued to race roughly in the early stages. Driver J Cox reported his mare to have made respiratory noises during the running. A post race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer S Lock advised that he will alter some gear prior to the next start.
JAMIES BAD BOY - held up for racing room at the 500 metres.
MACH O'MELLEY - hampered final bend. Raced roughly throughout the run home. Driver C Purvis reported because of this she did not activate the geldings deafeners.
BEAUDIENE EMERALD -checked on final bend losing ground.
SHINDAL - raced keenly middle stages. Hampered final bend.

BONO HEST - slow to begin. Held up throughout the run home. Driver E Barron reported she did no release the gelding's deafeners.
MISSALYSSA - broke shortly after the start losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the filly's barrier record.
TAIMATE RAFFA - trotted roughly in the early stages and then broke at the 1900 metres losing considerable ground.
JANUCCI GIRL - weakened from the 500 metres.
HUMBLE LADD - raced keenly in the middle stages.

ALEXY - hung inwards and then broke near the 500 metres. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing record.
MAJOR HIPPIE - weakened passing the 600 metres and raced roughly through the finishing line when distanced. When questioned Driver/Co-Trainer J Cox explained the gelding had raced keenly and would be sent for a spell. A post race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. The connections were advised the gelding was now required to trial on one occasion.
RAH DE RAH - hampered near the 500 metres.
FOUR STARZZZ SHIRAZ - Driver C Purvis advised she did not activate the blinds or the deafeners.
BILLY KLONDIKE - hampered near the 500 metres.
 
Race 6HOUSE OF TRAVEL JUNIOR DRIVERS FINAL (MOBILE PACE)Video  Video 
OMAR SHARIF - raced greenly near the 1400 metres and shifted ground outwards. When questioned regarding the geldings improved performance Trainer R Todd advised the gelding had been able to take advantage of a good draw tonight against opposition which he considered to be of a lesser quality than recent racing. He also added the gelding had derived benefit from the addition of blinds.
LITTLE RAIN - held up for racing room round the final bend.
DISMARA - held up on the final bend. Was placed in restricted room near the 200 metres and broke in consequence.
POSSENTE CAVALLO - over raced when being restrained for a short distance near the 1900 metres.
T C BUSINESS - raced wide in the early stages.
FRANCO HAMPTON - raced wide from the 1100 metres. Hung inwards around the bend near the 900 metres. Again lay inwards under pressure on the final bend causing DISMARA to race in restricted room and be checked into a gallop. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing record.
NEVE FRANCO - weakened from the 700 metres and was distanced. A warning was placed on the mare's racing performance. A post race Veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities with Trainer N Bishop indicating the horse will be sent for a spell.
PETE'S DASH - Driver B Munro reported the deafeners were not activated due to the cord becoming entangled.
 
Race 7DUNCAN COTTERILL MOBILE PACEVideo  Video 
JULES MANZONI - held up for racing room at the 400 metres and into the home straight.
TETRICK - raced keenly from the 1400 metres. Weakened from the 500 metres. Trainer/Driver B McLellan advised the gelding may have choked down. A post race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
DONEGAL MARY FRANCIS - the rein pricker was removed prior to the start due to the horse warming up unfavourably.
 
Race 8FIELD MARSHAL '2017 MIRACLE MILE WINNER' MOBILE PACEVideo  Video 
DIRECT CONTROL - hung outwards in the early stages becoming awkwardly positioned close to the sulky of MISTER H for a short distance. Lay inwards leaving the final bend.
COMMAND LUSTRE - hung inwards when being taken forward to lead near the 1800 metres, having to be corrected on several occasions.
 
Race 9FIELD MARSHAL IS FOREAL MOBILE PACEVideo  Video 
GO GETTA - hung inwards and raced unkindly in the early stages losing contact with the field. Had difficulty maintaining its position with the field throughout and was distanced over the final stages. Driver M Hurrell reported the gelding had paced roughly throughout. A post race Veterinary examination revealed an irregular heart rhythm. Stood down pending a Veterinary clearance.
ESSENCE OF EASTON - improved three wide from the 1000 metres hanging inwards around the bend. Weakened from the 400 metres.
CHIEF KAPAI - checked and broke at the 300 metres.
OLDE OAK EMMA - shifted outwards on the final bend taking CHIEF KAPAI wider with that runner then breaking. Stewards interviewed drivers B Orange, N Williamson and B Laughton regarding this incident and after reviewing the films issued Mr Orange with a charge alleging he had driven carelessly by shifting outwards when not entitled to do so. Mr Orange defended the breach however the JCA upheld the charge and imposed a fine of $600.
HONEY CULLEN - raced roughly near the 450 metres for a short distance.
