Mr Balle advised that he would be making the necessary alteration to the sulky to avoid a repetition.

After hearing submissions on penalty the JCA imposed a fine of $350.
COUNT LANDECK - raced ungenerously over the early stages when tending to sky its head when being eased which enabled HUNTER BROMAC to cross down to take up a position in the one out running line in front of COUNT LANDECK. Ms Lewis stated that CULLENS JOY raced best when driven on the pace and felt that Junior Driver F Schumacher (ALTA LEONIE) may look to take a trail when she worked forward, however, when this did not occur she eased her mare so as to give it some respite rather than continue to pressure the leaders. Ms Lewis' comments were noted.
