Co-Trainer J Cox advised Stewards on 29 June that OLIVE COOK had recovered well following its disappointing performance at Forbury Park on 21 June with blood tests showing no abnormalities.

Co-Trainer J Cox advised Stewards on 29 June that MAJOR HIPPIE has had its knees injected since last racing at Forbury Park on 21 June.

Driver G Smith (THE DIRECTOR) admitted a breach of Rule 869(2) in that he used his whip on more occasions than permitted by Clause (b) of the Use of Whip Regulations. After hearing submissions on penalty, the JCA suspended Mr Smith's Horseman's Licence from the conclusion of racing on 8 July 2018 up to and including 15 July 2018 (3 days).

MYBOYLOLLIEPOP - improved to the inside of RAINY RIVER near the 700 metres when insufficient room existed before being restrained back to the trailing position. Driver P Cook was cautioned for the manner in which he drove at this stage of the race.
GOING TO CALIFORNIA - raced wide early and middle stages. Driver B Wilmott was issued a $100 Minor Infringement Notice under Rule 867 for driving with his foot out of the sulky footrest for a considerable distance on several occasions during the running.
LINTON SHARD - raced wide early and middle stages. Broke briefly near the 2100 metres.
QUEEN OF GLORY - paced roughly shortly after the start. Driver C Negus was warned to ensure she keeps her runner straight throughout the run home in future. Mrs Negus admitted a breach of Rule 869(2) and was fined $200 by the JCA for using her whip on more occasions than permitted by Clause (b) of the Use of Whip Regulations.

RAINING IN MY HEART - paced away before being checked back into its correct gait by driver R Holmes. Trotted roughly from the 700 metres.
TEQUILA SUNSET - broke at the start. Broke near the 600 metres.
DEAUVILLE - paced in the early stages and had to be restrained by driver J Cox.
LOUIS MOSS - cleared from the unruly for future standing starts.
TOKYO JOE - trotted roughly in the home straight.

MAGIC BLAZE - broke at the start. Held up early stages of the run home.
DON'T TELL ANGE - underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was cleared to start. Tangled away.
WESTBURN YIELD - broke at the start.
BICTON - late scratching at 8.55am with a veterinary clearance required prior to resuming.
NUCLEUS VC - held up early stages of the run home.
STATELY - raced wide early stages.
FRANCO HATTON - broke at the start.

COLLECTABLE LADY - broke near the 1000 metres. Over-raced final bend. Held up early stages of the run home.

SUPERSTAR LEGEND - hung outwards severely throughout. Paced roughly near the 250 metres and broke near the 150 metres. A warning was placed on the racing manners of the filly. Will now be drawn unruly for future mobile starts at the request of the connections.
SANTANNA LAD - held up early stages of the run home.
POP THE BUBBLES - co-trainer/driver T Chmiel advised the filly would now be going for a spell.
GO TODDY - hung outwards rounding the first bend when being restrained to obtain cover.
HE'S A LADIES MAN - broke in the score up checking outside runner with a false start being declared. Driver B Munro elected to remain in his barrier position for the re-start. Broke in the score up of the re-start and failed to settle taking no part in the event. This gelding will now be drawn unruly for mobile starts. Driver B Munro advised HE'S A LADIES MAN will be having a spell and returning to the trials before resuming.
BAKER CREEK - hung outwards and raced greenly near the 1500 metres when being restrained to take a trail.
MASTER MILANO - lost its position with the field briefly near the 1000 metres.

COLLECTION - broke at the start.
OHOKA JOHNNY - raced wide early stages.
GOTTA FUTURE - raced wide early stages. Held up early and middle stages of the run home.
PEGASUS KOMMANDER - raced wide early stages.
SHADOW MINISTER - raced wide early stages.
MARAT SAF FINN - broke at the start losing considerable ground.
BOUND TO IMPRESS - broke near the 200 metres when the hind centre hopple carrier came adrift. Trainer J Versteeg was issued a $100 Minor Infringement Notice under Rule 864(2)(d) for failing to affix this gear so as not to come adrift.

MISSIE CASTLETON - removed from the unruly for future standing starts.
CLOVER LOU - trotted roughly in the home straight and was unable to be driven out with any vigour.
DIANA HARBOUR - broke racing into the first bend losing all chance.
LIGHTWORKOFIT - broke at the start. Broke again on the first bend losing all chance.

MAD LU LI - held up throughout the run home.
GO KIWI - displayed poor barrier manners. Reared and shifted outwards at the start hampering the trailing PEMBROOK'S PASSION. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier record.
BRINGITONHOME - broke at the start. Raced keenly in the middle stages.
PEMBROOK'S PASSION - hampered at the start.
ROCKI WARRIOR - broke at the start. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier record.

ANNA BARCLAY - over-raced when leading in the middle stages.
BABY'S IN BLACK - raced keenly rounding the final turn. Held up for racing room through the early and middle stages of the run home. Driver R Payne reported that he did not activate the removable deafeners.
MISS BIG - hampered first bend.
AWESOME RUSH - broke racing into the first bend hampering trailing runners.
SKY CITY KING - hampered first bend. Weakened final bend.
