Trainer P Williamson advised Stewards on 27 June that HORSE OF COURSE has recovered well following its disappointing performance last week adding that the gelding has had an increased workload this week in preparation for its engagement on Thursday.

Trainer B Williamson advised Stewards on 25 June that KNOCKMANAUGH has recovered well following its disappointing performance at Forbury Park last week and has been freshened for this week's engagement.

FANCY WOMAN - raced keenly middle stages. Held up rounding the final bend.
MISSALYSSA - trotted roughly in the home straight. When questioned regarding the improved performance, the connections advised they had made a gear change to the horse since last racing by adding a pacifier and that the filly had received an economical run in front after trotting throughout.
SWEET JEWELIETTE - weakened from the 400 metres.
DANIELLE MARIE - broke at the start.
HORSE OF COURSE - hampered near the 1550 metres. Hung inwards throughout the run home. Driver B Williamson was warned for the manner he drove after crossing the finish line.
MADABOY - broke near the 1550 metres.
TAIERI MISS - raced keenly middle stages. Hampered and broke near the 1550 metres.
OCTOBER TROUBLE - trotted roughly and lost ground near the 400 metres after becoming awkwardly placed close to the sulky of the weakening SWEET JEWELIETTE.

MISS MUNRO - hung inwards throughout. Driver R Swain advised that he would be recommending a boring pole be added to the mare's gear for future racing.

JAMIES BAD BOY - raced wide early stages.
MATINEE IDOL - driver M Williamson reported that the gelding had hung throughout.
TACT DENZEL - hung inwards in the score up and was back slightly at the start. Raced wide middle stages. Weakened from the 600 metres. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. A warning was placed on the racing performance of the horse.

BUB'S VC - struck a pylon leaving final bend. Driver S Tomlinson was warned to make a greater effort to ensure contact is not made with track markers.
IDEAL DRAW - over-raced early stages. Driver D Dunn reported that the gelding had been striking his sulky wheels.
LUCYS DELIGHT - raced wide early stages. Weakened final bend.
ALSO JACCKA - weakened final bend.
YANKEE MISS - raced wide early stages.
KATE'S CARRERA - raced wide early stages.
LINC N ELLE - paced roughly and broke near the 400 metres.
THE LITTLE ONE - paced roughly rounding the first bend. Lost contact with the field passing the 1000 metres and continued to weaken. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. A warning was placed on the racing performance of the filly. Trainer R McIlwrick advised that he would have blood tests taken from the horse in the coming days and undertook to notify Stewards of the results.
MACH O'MELLEY - weakened final bend.
BATTLE AXE - broke racing into the first bend checking the trailing CLIFTON FLUTTER. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
CLIFTON FLUTTER - checked and broke racing into the first bend losing all chance. Cleared from the unruly for future mobile starts.

HONEY CULLEN - hung outwards in the run home. Driver M Anderson reported the gelding had over-raced throughout
LADY'S LASS - held up final bend behind a tiring runner.
DREAMCOAT - weakened from the 800 metres. A warning was placed on the racing performance of the gelding. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer C Morrison advised that he would be re-assessing the racing future of the horse.
AVEROSS FERRARI - raced wide early stages. Weakened final bend.
REDDINGTON - held up near the 800 metres by a tiring runner.
MISTY MEMORY - back slightly at the start despite the efforts of Driver M Williamson. Came together briefly with LOMA JACCKA near the 150 metres.
ESSENCE OF EASTON - hung inwards in the score up and was back at the start. Driver D Dunn reported the gelding had hung inwards throughout the run home. Trainer B Norman advised that he would be making gear changes prior to the horse resuming.
LOMA JACCKA - came together briefly with MISTY MEMORY near the 150 metres.

ROZZANO - weakened final bend. Lay outwards in the home straight. Stewards requested a post-race veterinary examination which revealed no abnormalities. Trainer C Ferguson advised that he would have the horse re-examined by his vet in the coming days. Stewards will follow up the recovery of the mare.
HONOUR THE BET - held up final bend.
CLIFTON TACTIC - raced wide in the early stages. Junior Driver L McKay advised she could not activate the removable deafeners due to the cord becoming entangled. Miss McKay, in the presence of Senior Horseman R Close, admitted a breach of Rule 869(2) in that she used her whip on more occasions than permitted by Clause (b) of the Use of Whip Regulations. After hearing submissions on penalty, the JCA suspended Miss McKay's licence from the conclusion of racing on 1 July 2018 up to and including 8 July 2018 (3 days).
VIGOROSO - paced roughly shortly after the start and had to be steadied. Weakened leaving the final bend.
COOLHAND EASTON - held up rounding the final bend.
ZENOLA'S ART - raced wide in the early stages.
DIANNE LORENA - held up final bend and throughout the run home.
TOBY O'GARA - held up final bend.

JANUCCI GIRL - broke near the 1250 metres when leading. Weakened from the 600 metres. Junior Driver J Morrison reported he received a punctured sulky tyre during the running.
SCARLETT LANE - raced wide early stages.
OCH AYE THE NOO - fractious prior to the start causing a delay. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Trotted roughly and over-raced rounding the final bend after becoming awkwardly placed close to the wheel of JANUCCI GIRL which was tiring. Driver L McKay was warned to exercise care when shifting ground.
CRUSHER COLLINS - fractious prior to the start causing a delay. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Driver M Purvis was spoken to advisedly for the manner he addressed the barrier strand.
WHATASISTA - broke near the 1850 metres losing ground.

VERA'S DELIGHT - weakened final bend.
SPORTZSTAR - held up by weakening runner near the 500 metres.
ELVA JACCKA - raced wide early stages. Weakened from the 500 metres. When spoken to regarding performance, driver B Barclay advised he was disappointed with the effort and could offer no explanation. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Stewards will follow up the recovery of the horse with trainer B Gray in the coming days.

ROCKEFELLER - tired from the 600 metres. Paced roughly in the run home. Stood down to trial satisfactorily on one occasion.
NEVE FRANCO - held up by a tiring runner passing the 600 metres. Weakened final bend.
T C BUSINESS - driver E Barron reported she was unable to activate the removable deafeners due to the cord becoming entangled.
MAGNETIC WATCH - hung outwards in the score up and was back slightly at the start. Placed in restricted room late in the run home and had to be steadied.
AVEROSS RUSTLER - lay outwards in the home straight.
DISMARA - lay inwards passing the 700 metres when improving three wide. Again lay inwards near the 650 metres when being shifted wider on the track by SELENA FRANCO. Driver M Purvis was warned to ensure he takes his runner clear of the field when in a break.
COMPLETE PACKAGE - over-raced middle stages.
QUEEN OF GLORY - briefly hampered near the 600 metres.
FATHERDANTHERODEOMAN - paced roughly shortly after the start and had to be steadied. Broke near the 300 metres.
WHATA RAZZLE DAZZLE - briefly hampered near the 600 metres. Junior Driver M Hurrell reported he was unable to activate the removable deafeners due to the cord breaking.

GOTTA BE DOWNTOWN - broke in the early stages of the score up and was back slightly at the candy pole despite the efforts of driver B Orange. Raced wide throughout.
