A post-race veterinary examination showed the horse to have an upper airways ailment with further treatment being recommended. A Veterinary clearance, including the results of an endoscopic examination, is required prior to the horse resuming. | |

| COLE PORTER - when questioned regarding the performance driver G O'Reilly advised he was disappointed with the effort and could offer no explanation. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a small amount of blood to be present in a nostril however was deemed not to be a bleeder. Stewards will follow up with trainer G Dunn in the coming days. | |
| BOOMER BAILEY - the under check broke and hung loose during the running. Lay outwards under pressure in the final straight. | |
