Race 10 - FORBURY PARK CLAIMERS SERIES (HEAT 2) MOBILE PACE
Stable spokesperson K Butt advised Stewards on 20 June that MAJOR HIPPIE joined the stable of T Butt and J Cox after racing at Forbury Park last Friday. Miss Butt added that the MAJOR HIPPIE has had veterinary tests conducted which showed no irregularities with the gelding continuing its preparation in the Claiming Race at Forbury Park this week.

Trainer G Smith advised Stewards on 20 June that RED TERROR will no longer race from his stable.
Race 6 - MORRISONS SADDLERY HANDICAP PACE
Trainer J Hay advised Stewards on 20 June that following its disappointing performance at Oamaru last Sunday STONE THE CROWS was found to have a burst abscess in a foot which is now being treated.

MOMENT OF GLORY - broke and then paced after 100 metres.
EDESIA - broke at the start losing considerable ground.
MUSCLE PAT - lay inwards and struck markers on the first bend.
MAGIC GALLEON - over-raced middle stages.
SWEET JEWELIETTE - broke when leading near the 300 metres and continued on in a gallop for the remainder of the event.
MISSALYSSA - broke at the start. Over-raced middle stages.
PAT THE MONKEY - broke inside the final 50 metres and was lapped onto by MAGIC GALLEON and SUNRISE SPUR. Relegated to fourth placing by the JCA.
HORSE OF COURSE - trotted roughly over the early stages. Raced lethargically down the back straight on the final occasion. Hung inwards final bend and trotted roughly losing ground. Trainer/Driver P Williamson expressed his disappointment. Stewards will follow up the recovery in the upcoming days.
MAJESTIC ROSE - broke at the start. Again broke at the 1300 metres.
Trainer P Williamson advised Stewards on 27 June that HORSE OF COURSE has recovered well following its disappointing performance last week adding that the gelding has had an increased workload this week in preparation for its engagement on Thursday.

COUNTRY SWING - out of position at dispatch and slow in the early stages. Raced lethargically thereafter losing contact with the field. A warning was placed on its performance. Will now be drawn unruly for future mobiles. Trainer C Gerken advised he would not be persevering with the mare from his stable.
BHAKTI - over-raced middle stages. Driver J Kennett advised this was due to the removable deafeners activating prematurely.
FLEUR GALLEON - held up early and middle stages of run home.
MATINEE IDOL - over-raced in the middle stages when racing in the parked position. Driver M Williamson advised he would be recommending the blinds be removed from the geldings gear.

THE LITTLE ONE - become awkwardly placed to the back of SOUTHIN EXCUSE near the 1800 metres and broke, falling to the track briefly near the 1750 metres. Driver R McIlwrick was unharmed in this incident. Stewards requested a post race Veterinary examination which revealed superficial abrasions to its right knee.
SOUTHIN EXCUSE - raced greenly negotiating the first bend, which in turn, inconvenienced THE LITTLE ONE. Again raced greenly near the 1300 metres when being restrained to take a trail. Weakened from the 350 metres.
YANKEE MISS - broke briefly near the 300 metres when awkwardly placed between runners.
MORVEN LASS - Trainers T Butt & J Cox were fined $100 for presenting the mare without the notified sliding blinds. Inconvenienced by a falling runner near the 1750 metres. Tired from the 600 metres. Co-trainer J Cox advised they would no longer be persevering with the mare from their stables. A warning was placed on the mare's racing performance.

PEGASUS KOMMANDER - weakened from the 400 metres.
PORT HANOVER - raced wide through the early stages.
ROCKEFELLER - weakened from the 400 metres.
BITE THE DUST - weakened from the 400 metres.
DISMARA - broke at the start and continued on in a break for a considerable distance. A warning was placed on its barrier record. A Protest was lodged into its fourth placing being awarded due to breaking in excess of 150 metres over the early stages with the JCA disqualifying the gelding.

NOTAWORD - held up early and middle stages of the run home.
MISTY MEMORY - Driver M Williamson advised the removable deafeners failed to activate due to the cord breaking.
KAGEE VC - hung inwards when exiting the final bend.
SHARDAN SUZIE - over-raced middle stages when sitting parked.
ANNIE FITZ - over-raced early when being restrained.
REDDINGTON - had difficulty obtaining clear room in the run home.
CHANGE IT - tired from the 500 metres. Raced greenly near the 1750 metres.
THE BULL PEN - raced wide early stages. Hung inwards when exiting the final bend.

WHATASISTA - broke as the start was effected.
WANDERING STAR - broke in the score up. Settled back into a pace and continued in this gait until nearing the 700 metres. Weakened thereafter. Stewards spoke with Junior Driver J Kennett who declined his right to be assisted by a senior horseman in regards to his reasons he failed to return this gelding back into its correct gait. After hearing the explanation tendered by Mr Kennett, Stewards issued him with a charge under Rule 869(3)(a) in that he drove incompetently through this stage of the race. After hearing submissions on penalty the JCA suspended Mr Kennett's junior horseman licence from the conclusion of racing today up to and including 31st October.
BONO HEST - was wide through the early stages.
ED WOOD - raced wide throughout. Weakened from the 600 metres. Broke prior to the finish line.
SUGAR CANE - Junior Driver A Fitzgerald, assisted by Senior Driver B Williamson, was fined the sum of $200 for using his whip outside of Clause B of the Use of Whip Regulations.
CRUSHER COLLINS - removed unruly future mobile starts.

NIGHT SCHOOL - weakened final bend.
NO MORE CHANGE - was held up in the early stages of the run home.
CLIFTON TACTIC -raced four wide without cover from the 800 metres.
GOTTA BE DOWNTOWN - raced wide from the 1100 metres.
LOMA JACCKA - held up in the run home. Driver B Barclay advised he did not activate the removable gear.
GABBY'S STAR - held up in the run home. Driver R McIlwrick advised he did not activate the removable gear.
TOBY O'GARA - was held up by a tiring runner on the final bend. Held up in the run home.

RAZCAL ALLEY - tangled away.
DRIFTIN AWAY - held up by tiring runner. Driver M Williamson was cautioned for the manner in which he shifted ground near the 600 metres when attempting to avoid a tiring runner.
ELLZ ANGEL - broke at the start shifting up the track checking AFRO DIZZY YAK. A warning was placed on the filly's record.
TACT DENZEL - broke at the start losing considerable ground.
BETTORS ATOM - broke at the start.
OLIVE COOK - weakened from the 700 metres. A post race Veterinary examination revealed signs of moderate physical exertion with this to be followed up with Co-trainer J Cox in the coming days.
AFRO DIZZY YAK - checked at the start losing ground.

GO GETTA - hung through the early stages. Shifted up the track abruptly entering the first bend making contact with the sulky of ALEXY this resulted in checks to MOTU SPEEDY STAR, MAJOR HIPPIE, FOUR STARZZZ SHIRAZ and BILLY KLONDIKE. A warning was placed on its racing manners.
KNOCKMANAUGH - weakened considerably from the 900 metres finishing a distance from the winner. A subsequent Veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities however this will be followed up with the new trainer in the coming days. This gelding was claimed via ballot.
ALEXY - sulky contacted first bend. Raced three wide without cover from the 900 metres. Driver D O'Connell advised the removable deafeners did not activate due to the cord becoming entangled.
MAJOR HIPPIE - checked and forced up the track first bend. Weakened from the 500 metres.
FOUR STARZZZ SHIRAZ - checked and forced up the track first bend.
LINTON SHARD - weakened from the 750 metres with a post race Veterinary examination revealing no obvious abnormalities.
MOTU SPEEDY STAR - checked and forced up the track first bend.
BILLY KLONDIKE - checked and forced up the track first bend. Weakened concluding stages.
Trainer B Williamson advised Stewards on 25 June that KNOCKMANAUGH has recovered well following its disappointing performance at Forbury Park last week and has been freshened for this week's engagement.
