DEN'S LEGACY - hung and then raced roughly near the 900 metres losing ground. Weakened from the 500 metres. When questioned regarding the gelding's performance, stable representative R Paterson advised in his opinion the horse may not have handled the slushy track conditions and they would consider scratching in similar circumstances. Mr Paterson added they would consider substituting the blinds for sliding blinds for the gelding's next start. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. | |

DESPERATEANDANGEROUS - raced keenly middle stages. Driver B Borcoskie admitted a breach of Rule 869(3)(b) in that he drove carelessly when shifting outwards near the 350 metres checking TAKE AFTER ME which paced. After submissions on penalty the JCA suspended Mr Borcoskie's licence from the conclusion of racing today up to and including 29 June 2018 (3 days). | |
