PAY MASTER - weakened inside the final 500 metres inconveniencing trailing runners. A post race veterinary examination detected no abnormality. | |
COMIC BOOK HERO - hampered shortly after the start. Tightened and had to be checked entering the first turn. From inside the 1100 metres became awkwardly placed for a distance inside of BANNER OF ART which was laying in badly. Amateur Driver D Blakemore was spoken to advisedly for the manner in which he drove entering the back straight the final time when attempting an inside run. | |
BANNER OF ART - hung in after the start hampering an inside runner and continued to lay in over the early stages tightening several inside runners entering the first turn when giving Amateur Horseman J Brownlee a difficult drive. Continued to hang in throughout. The gelding was declared ineligible and is to trial on one occasion before resuming. | |
