A random selection of Drivers engaged to drive on today's programme were required to provide a sample of breath for the purpose of alcohol analysis with clear results being recorded.

Trainer A Faulks advised Stewards on 3 June that following its performance at Addington on 26 May SHOT IN THE DARK was found to be suffering from a lung infection which is being treated.

Co-Trainer G Hope advised Stewards on 3 June that ROCKNTOMMY RULZ has recovered well following its performance at Ascot Park on 26 May. Mr Hope was of the opinion that the gelding would take benefit from the experience adding that it will be returning to trials and/or workouts prior to resuming.

THIS WAY COMES - paced in the early stages and had to be broken up losing all chance.
LOVEY DOVEY MOMENT - hampered at the start. Trotted roughly in the home straight.
MADELEINE STOWE - held up middle stages of the run home.
CLOVER LOU - driver C DeFilippi advised he did not activate the deafeners due to the mare trotting roughly.
PASTRANA - hung inwards final bend and in the home straight when held up for clear racing room. Broke passing the 200 metres.
FOREIGNER - began awkwardly and shifted inwards.
EXCITE - hampered at the start. Trotted roughly after 100 metres. Broke racing into the first bend losing its chance.
WEE MAN TROUBLE - hampered at the start. Broke racing into the first bend. Raced keenly from the 900 metres. Lay inwards in the home straight.

GO TODDY - Trainer C McDowell reported the horse had been gelded since last racing.
GOTTAGETTABEER - raced wide in the early stages. Commenced to weaken from the 700 metres. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a slow recovery.
SHE'S OUTSTANDING - weakened leaving the final bend and lay outwards. Driver C Thornley was warned to make a greater effort to ensure his runner does not shift outwards leaving the final bend.
CHEEZEL - raced wide early stages.
THAT ALEXANDER GUY - raced wide early stages. Weakened leaving the final bend.
SILENT SHADOW - late scratching at 7.40am with a veterinary certificate provided.
NANS CHOICE - held up final bend.

MOCKINGJAY - broke at the start and shifted outwards checking FRANCO HATTON. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. The connections advised the mare would be restricted to mobile starts in the immediate future.
GO KIWI - lay inwards throughout the final straight.
VIEWFIELD NAVAJO - broke at the start. Weakened final bend.
SWEENEY TODD - held up early stages of the run home. Hung outwards in the home straight.
TOPSPINNER - when spoken to regarding the performance driver G Smith reported that he had been disappointed with the effort. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Stewards will follow up the recovery of the gelding in the coming days with trainer P Burrows.
MAGICAL MACCA - tangled away.
PEACE TRAIN - broke at the start. Checked near the 350 metres and had to be steadied.
CLASSIE REACTOR - paced roughly in the early stages. Hung inwards racing into the first bend and had to be steadied. Broke near the 400 metres and shifted inwards checking PEACE TRAIN. Driver N Purdon reported the gelding had hung inwards and broken when being shifted wider on the track. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
SOUNDS BETTOR - lay outwards in the run home.
FRANCO HATTON - checked and broke at the start losing all chance.
XMAS BAY - hung inwards final bend and in the home straight.

THE CRIMSON PRINCE - hung outwards in the early stages of the score up. Over-raced early stages. Hung inwards throughout the run home. Paced roughly passing the 100 metres and broke.
ESCALERA - driver G Smith admitted a breach of Rule 869(2) in that he used his whip on more occasions than permitted by clause (b) of the Use of the Whip Regulations with the JCA imposing a fine of $200.
J B MAUNEY - improved wide without cover through the middle stages.

WESTAR BELLA - trotted roughly in the home straight. Driver R May reported he elected not to activate the removable deafeners. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainers G & N Hope were warned for failing to advise who was in control of their horse in their absence.
FLYINOVA - held up early stages of the run home.
RED HARBOUR - broke at the start.
NEVERNEVERLAND - trotted roughly final bend. When spoken to regarding the performance driver C DeFilippi advised the race had not been run to suit and he was not overly disappointed with the effort. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.

CULLENS JOY - raced keenly passing the 1600 metres when being restrained to trail. Weakened final bend. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a slow recovery. When spoken to regarding the performance, Trainer M Purdon advised that the mare may not have backed up from recent trials and racing at Addington on 26 May.
MAD LU LI - held up final bend.
LAYTONS LASS - improved wide without cover through the middle stages then over-raced when reaching the parked position. Driver T Chmiel defended a breach of Rule 869(2) which alleged he used his whip on more occasions than permitted by clause (b) of the Use of the Whip Regulations. After hearing evidence and viewing the films the JCA found the charge proved and imposed a fine of $300.
NURBURGRING - over-raced middle stages.
AWESOME SPEED - underwent a veterinary examination in the preliminary and was cleared to start. A further examination following the race revealed a small cut on the right front heel had become packed with track grit.
FRANCO HAMPTON - held up final bend.

DEN'S LEGACY - broke at the start. Checked racing into the first bend and broke briefly. Over-raced middle stages. Held up final bend and in the early stages of the run home. Driver G Smith reported that he would be recommending that the blinds be removed for future racing.
JONTY JAMES - broke at the start. Driver C Thornley advised the deafeners were unable to be activated due to the cord breaking.
WAR HORSE - tangled away. Held up final bend and in the early stages of the home straight. Struck a pylon near the 250 metres. Driver T Chmiel was warned to make a better effort to ensure he does not strike track markers.
GOTTA FUTURE - when spoken to regarding the improved performance, the connections advised the horse had been racing without luck in recent starts and was able to capitalize on an economical run throughout.
CHAAAT - broke at the start.
RED TERROR - placed in restricted room racing into the first bend.
FLAMBOYANT - hampered at the start and paced roughly. Raced wide until reaching the parked position near the 1200 metres.
SANS LE SOU - broke at the start.
GUNA - hung inwards racing into the first bend despite the efforts of driver J Curtin checking inside runners. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
OUT OF ACES - checked and broke racing into the first bend. Over-raced middle stages.
MARTIN JOHN - broke at the start. Raced wide middle stages.

LOCKED OUT OF HEAVEN - lay outwards in the run home. Driver C Butt was issued a $200 Minor Infringement Notice under Rule 864(2)(e) after failing to activate the hopple shorteners.
OHOKA JOHNNY - improved wide without cover through the middle stages.
STOP MEANS STOP - over-raced early stages. Held up early stages of the run home.
CLAUS - held up early stages of the run home.
OPAWA MACH - raced wide early stages. Had difficulty obtaining clear racing room over the concluding stages.
AWAYOVERNIGHT - over-raced in the trailing position through the middle stages. Held up early stages of the run home. Struck pylons in the home straight. Authorisation of 1st place was withheld until Stewards were satisfied the colt had not gained an advantage when protruding inside the marker line near the 250 metres. Driver R Payne admitted an associated charge under Rule 869(7A)(b) with the JCA imposing a fine of $200.
MYBOYLOLLIEPOP - raced wide early stages.
SHARDAN SUZIE - over-raced when wide in the early stages before being restrained to the rear of the field. Had difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the run home.
LIMOSO - held up early stages of the run home.
DE LANCOME - improved wide without cover through the middle stages.

MR FAHRENHEIT - held up final bend and in the early stages of the home straight. Driver D Dunn reported that he did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
MEDUSA - slow to begin. Held up throughout the home straight. Driver K Cameron advised he did not activate the removable deafeners in consequence.
BEYOND THE HORIZON - held up early and middle stages of the run home. Driver R Payne admitted a breach of Rule 869(2) in that he used his whip on more occasions than permitted by clause (b) of the Use of the Whip Regulations. After submissions on penalty the JCA suspended Mr Payne's Licence from the conclusion of racing today up to and including 14 June 2018 (3 days).
RUTHLESS KAYLA - paced and broke racing into the first bend losing its chance. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer K Fairbairn was spoken to regarding the manner he conducted himself towards the on course Veterinarian following the race.
RED HOT POKER - held up in the early stages of the run home.
OVER THE LOVE - broke in the early stages losing its chance.
THE DOMINATOR - slow to begin and raced wide early stages. Hung inwards in the home straight.
MIRACLE RISING - held up on the home turn.

HAYDEN'S MEDDLE - held up early stages of the run home.
SPIRIT OF DELIGHT - weakened leaving the final bend. When spoken to regarding the performance driver S Ottley advised she was disappointed with the effort. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Stewards will follow up with the connections in the coming days.
BOOMER BAILEY - held up final bend and early stages of the run home.

GOING TO CALIFORNIA - held up final bend and in the early stages of the home straight.
MR MIDNIGHT - badly held up final bend behind a tiring runner. A post-race veterinary examination of the gelding revealed no abnormalities. Driver J Morrison, assisted by R May, defended a breach of Rule 868(2) which alleged he failed to take all reasonable and permissible measures to ensure his horse was given full opportunity to win or obtain the best possible finishing place by not improving outwards near the 600 metres resulting in him being held up. The JCA opened and adjourned the charge sine die.
BIRD OF PARADISE - raced wide early stages before improving to the lead near the 1700 metres.
SHEEZ GOOD - raced wide early stages.
MISS BIG - held up final bend.
OMAR SHARIF - raced wide early stages. Weakened over the concluding stages. Stewards will follow up the recovery of the gelding in the coming days with trainer R Todd.
MAJOR HIPPIE - improved wide in the middle stages. Weakened on the final bend. Driver M Anderson advised the gelding had over-raced throughout.
LONDON DELIGHT - over-raced middle stages. Held up for clear racing room until late in the run home.
