Race 3 - MORTLOCK MCCORMACK LAW MOBILE PACE
Trainer K Cox advised Stewards on 22 May that MAD LU LI has been treated for muscle tie-up following its performance at Addington last week.
Race 8 - THE BREEDERS FASTTRACK NEW ZEALAND PACING OAKS (MOBILE)
Co-Trainer T Chmiel advised Stewards on 23 May that blood tests taken from DIBABA have shown that the filly was suffering from slight stress following its performance at Addington last week. Mr Chmiel added that DIBABA has had a brief freshener and worked well this morning in continuation with its Jewels preparation.
The Purdon/Rasmussen stable informed Stewards on 23 May that blood tests taken from ELLE MAC have shown that the filly has a slight virus and is suffering from muscle tie-up. This is currently being treated with further blood tests being taken later this week.

THIS WAY COMES - broke in the score up losing all chance. Stood down to complete one satisfactory mobile trial.
BLUE COMAN - broke in the score up and was back a distance at the start.
FOREIGNER - driver G Hunt was fined $200 for using his whip on more occasions than permitted by Clause (b) of the Whip Regulations.
WEE MAN TROUBLE - over-raced when being restrained for a distance passing the 1200 metres. Held up by a weakening runner on the final bend. Broke passing the 150 metres when racing keenly and contacting the wheel of SKYLINE.
LOVEY DOVEY MOMENT - broke shortly after the start. Stood down to complete one satisfactory mobile trial.
TAIMATE ANGUS - hampered on the first bend and had to shift wider to avoid a breaking runner.
WHATWILLBEEWILLBEE - broke near the 1600 metres. Over-raced in the middle stages. Again broke near the 1100 metres. The connections advised the gelding will be sent for a spell.
SIOUX PRINCESS - hampered on the first bend and had to shift wider to avoid a breaking runner.
MONRIKA - back from the unruly position at the start.

SANTANNA LAD - raced wide early and middle stages.
NICKY ANEW - raced wide from the 1000 metres.
MATAU GEM - raced keenly throughout.
SHE'S OUTSTANDING - raced wide early stages.
SHOT IN THE DARK - paced roughly as the start was effected and was out of position. A warning was placed on the mare's barrier record. Tired from the 700 metres. When questioned regarding the performance trainer/driver A Faulks reported the mare to have coughed several times after returning to the stable area and advised it was his intention to have blood tests taken in the coming days and undertook to advise the results to Stewards.
KING OF HEROES - over-raced for a distance passing the 1500 metres.
COMFORTABLY NUMB - driver R Close reported he was unable to activate the sliding blinds due to the cord breaking.
MOYTURA - over-raced in the middle stages with driver S Ottley unable to sufficiently restrain the gelding to surrender the parked position to the improving ONEDIN EXPRESS.
ONEDIN EXPRESS - raced wide from the 1800 metres and made an unsuccessful attempt to obtain the parked position from MOYTURA which was racing fiercely. Weakened near the 400 metres.

MANINTHEMIRROR - tired from the 400 metres.
MIKEY MAGUIRE - lay in throughout the run home.
GUNPOWDER - raced wide from the 1400 metres.
SHEZZA GNP - held up rounding the final bend. Hung outwards in the run home.
MACH UP - when questioned regarding the gelding's performance the connections advised the horse had hung throughout and been disappointing when asked for an effort over the final stages. A post-race veterinary examination showed some minor sensitivity to the left side stifle.

CHIVASION - held up early in the run home.
MYSTICAL STAR - held up early in the run home.
DIANA HARBOUR - broke with 150 metres to run.
TROUBLE GIERO - driver S McNally advised the deafeners were not activated due to the cord becoming entangled.
ARRAN CHIEF - raced wide early stages.
HEARD THE WHISPER - trotted roughly after 200 metres. Raced wide early stages.
MEDUSA - held up early in the run home.

TYRON BETTOR'S ELLA - when questioned regarding the mare's improved performance the connections advised that she, along with several other Auckland based stable runners, had recently suffered the effects of a virus but the mare had derived benefit from being freshened and also from an economical run throughout.
POSSENTE CAVALLO - raced wide early stages.
DELIGHTFUL DASH - broke in the score up losing its chance. A warning was placed on the mare's barrier record. A post-race veterinary examination showed no abnormalities. Trainer B Negus advised the mare would be retired.
QUEEN BEE BARDON - raced wide from the 800 metres.
MAD LU LI - driver B Hope was spoken to regarding shifting outwards in the score up and briefly occupying a position which was not his.

CHEEZEL - driver C Thornley was spoken to regarding carrying his whip over his shoulder.
STARS TONIGHT - raced wide early stages. Veered outwards shortly after the post and made heavy contact with BETTOR BEONTOIT dislodging driver M Anderson. Mr Anderson was unharmed in this incident.
BETTOR BEONTOIT - raced wide from the 1100 metres.
MAHKSMAN - over-raced middle stages.
BETTERTHANKATY - weakened from the 400 metres.

LIGHTWORKOFIT - broke shortly after the start losing all chance. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier record.
IDLE MOOSE - hung in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier record.
SUPERFAST MAGGIE - pre-race warmed.
JERRY GARCIA - back on the unruly position at the start. Broke leaving the 350 metres and again at the 250 metres.
JAW D NANCY - back on the unruly position at the start.

THE DIRECTOR - shifted outwards as the tapes were released and made contact with JAY FM which had swung inwards at the start breaking and losing considerable ground.
JAY FM - broke at the start and shifted inwards making contact with THE DIRECTOR losing considerable ground. Will now start from the unruly position for standing starts.
OUT OF ACES - weakened passing the 500 metres.
IT'S A DEAL - broke at the start. Driver R Cameron reported the off side hopple shortener to have not released.
GOTTA FUTURE - held up early stages of the run home.
TAKITIMU EXPRESS - over-raced early and middle stages. Locked wheels on the final bend.
GUCCI CAVALLO - locked wheels on the final bend and was badly held up as a result.
CULLENS JOY - broke at the start.

SOME EXCUSESOMEWHERE - when questioned regarding the gelding's performance driver R Close could only advise he had been disappointed with its efforts over the final stages. A post-race veterinary examination showed the horse to have a slow recovery. Stewards will follow up in the coming days with caretaker trainer M Jones.
SANS LE SOU - had some difficulty obtaining clear racing room throughout the final straight.
KARMIC WAY - raced roughly in the score up and was back at the start.
DIRECT CONTROL - paced roughly when being steadied in the early stages. When questioned regarding the performance driver P Court advised the colt had over-raced throughout and the effort had taken its toll.
