SUNDONS WISH - pre-race warmed. Trotted indifferently when being taken forward to the lead near the 2100 metres. Lay outwards through the back straight on the final occasion when leading. Driver D Dunn advised he did not activate the gelding's removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
GREY POWER - trotted roughly on the final bend. Broke near the 200 metres.
SPLASH COLA - paced when being restrained to take cover entering the first bend losing ground.

ROBBIE ROYALE - tangled away. Trotted roughly rounding final bend before breaking near the 400 metres.
RUMAND COKE - broke on the first bend. A warning was placed on the racing record of this mare.
SUPERFAST NINJA - broke at the start and shifted outwards hampering other runners. A warning was placed on the barrier record of this filly.
MISS BAMBOOCHA - hampered early stages.
PRES THE BELLE - driver D Dunn reported he did not activate the removeable deafeners due to having the field covered. When questioned regarding the mare's improved performance trainer D Simpson put the improvement down to a change in shoeing and an increase in the mare's workload since its last start.
THE POWER BROKER - broke at the start losing ground.
JANUCCI GIRL - broke near the 1600 metres when being restrained to surrender the lead. Again broke near the 1350 metres and was pulled up. A warning was placed on the mare's racing record.
KO WRECTED - broke after 100 metres. A final warning was placed against the racing manners of this mare.
AMBRO AMEIGO - hampered early stages.
SPUR ME ON GENTLY - broke passing the 1600 metres losing ground. Stood down pending a satisfactory trial. Removed from the Unruly for future standing starts.
THUNDER BUDDY - paced at the start losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on its barrier record.
ZONED SCARLETT - removed from the unruly for future standing starts.

NOTORIOUS - raced keenly middle stages. Driver D Dunn advised he would be recommending that removable deafeners be added to its gear.
UNLOADED - raced wide early stages. Inclined to lay inwards when racing around the bends.
DREAMINSOVER - wide early stages. Raced keenly middle stages.
FUN SPONGE - raced fiercely middle stages. Made contact with the sulky wheel of RAZCAL ALLEY approaching the bend near the 800 metres when unable to be sufficiently restrained. A warning was placed on its racing record.
I'M TROUBLE - the removable deafeners failed to activate due to the cord being tangled.
FLEUR GALLEON - weakened final bend.
GOTTA BE DOWNTOWN - raced greenly in the score up and early stages and was out of position at the start as a consequence. Again raced greenly nearing the 1000 metres.
RAZCAL ALLEY - sustained a damaged wheel near the 800 metres after FUN SPONGE had raced fiercely and made contact.
ARMSTRONG - raced wide and without cover from the 900 metres.

GRACE O'MALLEY - lay inwards racing round the bends striking track markers. Broke near the 200 metres.
KING CASSIDY - trotted roughly early stages. Broke nearing the 1600 metres losing its chance.

ANNIE FITZ - held up final bend.
ALEXY - raced wide in the early stages. Weakened from the 500 metres.
BOLD RULER - lay inwards entering the first bend contacting marker pegs. Again contacted marker pegs on the final bend when laying in under pressure. Weakened final stages.
CULLENS AVENUE - lay inwards early stages of the run home and had to be steadied when awkwardly placed to the outside of CANARDLY REMEMBER near the 150 metres.

GIVE HIM A CHANCE - slow early stages. Weakened from the 500 metres.
SWEET CHILLI - weakened from the 800 metres. When questioned regarding the filly's performance driver B Williamson explained his horse had struggled with the fast sectionals throughout the race. The connections advised it was their intention to spell the filly.
A BETTOR ACT - raced wide in the early stages.
SWIFT ROBYN - blundered when placed in restricted room in the early stages and had to be steadied. Raced fiercely when being restrained approaching the first bend. Lost contact with the field passing the 1700 metres and was distanced at the finish. Driver S Tomlinson explained the horse was unsuited to the fast sectionals and proved difficult to steer throughout the race.
RISE ABOVE THIS - when questioned regarding the filly's performance driver B Barclay explained his horse had struggled with the fast tempo of the race.
MIGHTY GEORGE - weakened from the 700 metres.

CHITURA - raced keenly in the middle stages.
REPARTEE - out of position at the start. Driver N Williamson was fined $100 for failing to maintain his position until dispatch. In taking this course of action Stewards were mindful Mr Williamson had been previously cautioned in regards to this.
MACHITELLI - out of position at the start. Driver S McNally was issued with a warning.
BRIDESDALE ROBYN - broke nearing the 350 metres. Trainer R Wilson advised he would be sending the filly for a spell.
DIBABA - Driver T Chmiel was spoken to regarding carrying his whip over his shoulder
SMOKE N REACTOR - raced keenly when in the parked position through the middle stages.

SOUTHBOUND TRAIN - broke at the start losing ground. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier record. Had difficulty gaining clear racing room over the final stages.
ESPECIAL - raced keenly in the middle stages.
FOUR STARZZZ SHIRAZ - lay inwards on the final bend when improving wide.
PATANJALI - Driver T Chmiel was spoken to regarding his whip use on the final bend and advised to adopt more pauses.
GORE BAY - when questioned regarding the colt's performance driver B Orange explained the horse had travelled well throughout but disappointed him when asked for an effort over the final stages. Trainer N McGrath advised the horse was fresh up since 6 February and expected him to derive benefit from the run. A post-race Veterinary examination showed the horse to be suffering from mild dehydration.
ZEALAND STAR - hampered prior to the start losing one length. The all clear was delayed until Stewards had spoken with driver B Barclay and reviewed the films determining the horse's chances were not materially prejudiced.
MACH'S BACK - lay inwards through the middle stages.

MIGHTY SANTANA - lay inwards in the early stages of the run home.
YOUNG CONQUEROR - paced roughly and lost ground early stages. Had to be restrained near the 1800 metres when there was an easing of the pace.
MY WEE MAN - weakened from the 900 metres. A veterinary examination revealed the horse to have suffered an atrial fibrillation with the gelding being stood down pending a Veterinary clearance which is to include the results of an ECG.
ROYAL BENGAL - lay inwards on the first bend and made contact with MIGHTY SANTANA, suffering a punctured sulky tyre in consequence. Over raced middle stages.
DELISHKA - had to be restrained near the 1800 metres when there was an easing of the pace.

TRIROYALE BRIGADE - locked wheels entering the final straight having to be steadied.
LAWRENCE - held up and inconvenienced by a weakening runner leaving the back straight on the final occasion.

DUKE OF WELLINGTON - raced keenly in the score up. Again raced keenly and hung through the middle stages.
ROCKABALL - locked wheels entering the final straight having to be steadied.
