Driver M Purvis (MACHS MARETA) was shown a replay and warned for the manner he shifted ground near the 400 metres hampering RED RIVER LOCHEE.

JANUCCI GIRL - held up behind a tiring runner rounding the final bend.
ROBBIE ROYALE - broke at the start. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 2200 metres.
SUPERFAST NINJA - broke racing into the first bend. Broke again near the 1800 metres. Trotted roughly rounding the final bend and in the home straight. Driver B Orange reported that he was unable to drive the filly out over the concluding stages and he would be recommending gear changes. A clip on the breast plate broke during the running. Authorisation of 2nd placing was withheld until Stewards were satisfied the filly had complied with the Breaking Horse Regulations.
NOTTA SUCCESS - weakened on the final bend.
RUMAND COKE - broke racing into the first bend. Broke again near the 2200 metres and at the 1800 metres losing its chance.
THUNDER BUDDY - paced in the early stages. Driver A Beck was warned pursuant to Rule 870(2)(b) to ensure he makes a greater effort to return his runner to the proper gait at the earliest opportunity.
WEE MAN TROUBLE - broke after 100 metres. Broke again near the 2400 metres and the 1900 metres.
SPUR ME ON GENTLY - broke racing into the first bend. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
SUPER FAST PAT - broke racing into the first bend. Broke again near the 1500 metres and 500 metres.
SOMETHINGS BURNING - broke after 150 metres. Broke again near the 1000 metres. Connections were advised the filly must trial on one occasion to the satisfaction of the Stewards prior to racing next. Trainer K Barclay advised SOMETHINGS BURNING would now be sent for a spell.
NATHAN D - over-raced passing the 2200 metres and trotted roughly. Trotted roughly again on the bend near the 1900 metres. Broke passing the 1700 metres. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.

ANNIE FITZ - broke early in the score up and failed to settle, losing its chance. A warning was placed on the mobile barrier record of the mare.
NIGHTMARCH - held up for clear racing room rounding the final bend.
MAGNATE MARA - driver G Lee was questioned regarding the amount of vigor he showed over the concluding stages. After hearing from Mr Lee, Stewards adjourned the matter.
BOLD RULER - raced wide in the early stages.
BRIDESDALE ROBYN - broke at the start losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the mobile barrier record of the filly.
IWANADANCEWITSUMBODY - held up in the early stages of the home straight.
MR HANDLEMAN - over-raced in the middle stages.
JACKS N JAZZ - over-raced in the middle stages.

BETTOR ROCK AGAIN - broke at the start and shifted outwards checking COMPLETE PACKAGE. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
DAYS OF CHANGE - slow to begin. Hampered on the final bend.
IDEAL FOR SURE - broke at the start. Authorisation of 1st placing was withheld until Stewards were satisfied the mare had complied with the Breaking Horse Regulations when breaking in the early stages. Hung inwards near the 500 metres checking DODGETHEBULLET. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.
IVANA LEGACY - hampered by a breaking runner on the final bend and struck pylons.
DODGETHEBULLET - checked and broke near the 500 metres.
CHAMPAGNE BROMAC - hampered by a breaking runner on the final bend. Driver N Williamson reported the mare had made abnormal breathing noises during the running. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities. Connections were advised the mare was stood down pending the result of an Endoscopic examination prior to racing next. Trainer A Stack advised he would no longer persevere with the mare from his stable.
QUEEN OF THE NITE - hampered by a breaking runner rounding the final bend. Held up for clear racing room for the majority of the home straight.
COMPLETE PACKAGE - checked shortly after the start losing all chance.
ARMSTRONG - hung outwards in the home straight.

BE INSPIRED - raced wide in the early stages.
EXCELLENT - weakened on the final bend. Trainer/driver N Williamson reported the filly would now be sent for a spell.
COUNTRY SWING - hung outwards racing into the first bend. Hung inwards throughout the home straight.
SOMEBEACHTODREAMOF - held up leaving the final bend.
MY BLUE HEAVEN - hung outwards in the score-up. Held up leaving the final bend.
BETTER GALLEON - back slightly at the start after being placed in restricted room.
I'MALLABOUTTHEBASE - hung inwards in the score-up. Raced wide in the early stages. Hung inwards near the 1000 metres when improving wide on the track.
RAKAGEM - raced wide in the early stages. Weakened on the final bend. When spoken to regarding the performance driver B Orange could offer no explanation. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the filly to have an elevated heart rate. Trainer C Barron reported the filly may not have handled the track conditions.

I'M TROUBLE - held up in the early stages of the run home.
HANS IDEAL - lay inwards throughout the home straight.
SCHWEINSTEIGER - raced wide in the early stages. Driver H Hunter reported he was unable to activate the removable deafeners due to the cord breaking.
DUNROBIN - raced wide in the early stages.
DISMARA - over-raced in the middle stages. Became awkwardly placed close to the rear of I'M TROUBLE near the 1200 metres and shifted inwards abruptly into the passing lane, despite the efforts of driver A Milne, causing him difficulty. A final warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding. Mr Milne advised he would be recommending a change of bit for future racing.
RANGA ROC - over-raced and broke shortly after the start losing all chance. A warning was placed on the mobile barrier record of the gelding. Trainer K Barclay advised she would be making gear changes and returning the gelding to the workouts prior to resuming.
BUSH MAN - hampered by a breaking runner racing into the first bend.
FOR REGAL - hampered by a breaking runner racing into the first bend. Hampered again near the 1000 metres and had to be steadied.
SHINDAL - hampered near the 1000 metres and had to be steadied.

GOTTA GOOD LOOKER - placed in restricted room racing into the first bend and struck track markers. Held up on the final bend.
CANARDLY REMEMBER - placed in restricted room racing into the first bend. Held up on the final bend and in the early stages of the run home.
TOUR DIRECTOR - shifted inwards entering the first bend crowding inside runners. Junior driver M Purvis was warned to ensure he allows sufficient room for inside runners. Weakened on the final bend. When questioned regarding the performance Mr Purvis advised that the horse had raced lethargically throughout and had been disappointing. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Connections advised they would no longer be persevering with the gelding as a racing proposition from their stable.
VARENNA - raced wide leaving the final bend. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare had some mucus in the trachea. Stewards will follow up the recovery of the mare with trainer K Larsen in the coming days.
DACHY - held up on the final bend.
MAGNETIC WATCH - paced roughly near the 1400 metres.
KAGEE VC - had difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the early stages of the home straight.

IDEAL BREEZE - had to be steadied racing into the first bend when placed in restricted room.
FEEL THE MONEY - when questioned regarding the performance driver N Williamson advised the filly may not have handled the prevailing track conditions. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities.
GLACIER COASTER - paced roughly in the early stages.
GRACE BURNS - shifted ground inwards entering the first bend crowding an inside runner. Driver K Barclay was warned for the manner she shifted ground at this point. K Barclay admitted a breach of Rule 869(2) in that she used her whip in an excessive manner inside the final 400 metres. After viewing replays and hearing submissions on penalty, the JCA suspended Mrs Barclay's licence to drive from the conclusion of racing today up to and including 19 May 2018 (5 days.)
BIG SMOKE - weakened on the final bend.

OSSESSIONE - hung inwards racing into the first bend. Over-raced passing the 1000 metres when being restrained to obtain cover.
DUKE OF WELLINGTON - hung inwards racing into the first bend. Over-raced in the middle stages. Hung inwards leaving the final bend.
ZEALAND STAR - over-raced middle stages.
LINTON SHARD - held up behind a tiring runner on the final bend. When questioned regarding the performance driver D Dunn advised the gelding failed to handle the step up in class today.
CONVAIR HUSTLER - trainer B Gray was issued a Minor Infringement Notice and fined $100 after presenting the gelding to race with sliding blinds which had not been notified. Held up behind a tiring runner on the final bend.
FIERY FERRET - weakened on the final bend. Returned to the stabling area showing signs of lameness. Co-trainer G Knight reported that they we would be reassessing the racing future of the gelding. Stewards will follow up with connections in coming days.

NOTTINGHAM K TWO - trotted roughly and broke in the early stages, losing its chance.
THE BADGER - weakened on the final bend.
AMBRO AMEIGO - trotted roughly near the 1900 metres. Again trotted roughly near the 900 metres and had to be steadied.
GRACE O'MALLEY - hung inwards rounding the first bend.
KING CASSIDY - broke at the start losing considerable ground. Trotted roughly on the final bend. Hampered near the 200 metres and broke.
SPOTLIGHT THE VALLEY - held up on the final bend and in the early stages of the home straight.
DIPENDRA - hung inwards and broke near the 200 metres, hampering a trailing runner.

FRANCO HUNTINGTON - hung inwards and paced roughly near the 300 metres then continued to hang inwards throughout the run home.
