Trainer B Hill advised Stewards on 11 April that ALL OUR MOB was found to be suffering from a lung infection following its disappointing performance at Addington on 16 March which has since been treated.

Trainer G Smith advised Stewards on 10 April that BRONX VILLAGE has been diagnosed with a virus following blood tests and is being treated accordingly.
Race 3 - AVON CITY FORD NEW ZEALAND WELCOME STAKES (MOBILE PACE)
Co-Trainer M Purdon advised Stewards on 12 April that subsequent to its performance at Addington last Friday JACK JONES(AUS) is to be gelded and will be sent for a spell.

Trainer G Smith advised Stewards on 10 April that SHEBANG and PEMBROOK'S PASSION have been diagnosed with a virus following blood tests and are being treated accordingly.

GERALD - held up early stages of the home straight.
PASSION FLOWER - Driver B White reported he was unable to activate the removable deafeners due to the cord becoming entangled.
BEAUDIENE GAMBLER - weakened on the home turn and struck pylons. Trainer/driver D Paterson reported the gelding did not handle the bends and had been striking a knee. Mr Paterson was warned for using his whip when out of contention.
ALEXY - had to be steadied racing into the first bend when placed in restricted room.
CAESAR'S QUEST - hung inwards racing into the first bend placing inside runners in restricted room. Paced roughly throughout. Trainer/driver J McDermott advised that he would be making gear changes prior to resuming.
BETTOR BACKIM - held up final bend.
AVEROSS BRACHOLE - raced wide until reaching the parked position near the 1500 metres.
GOING TO CALIFORNIA - raced wide in the early stages.
RUSSIAN EXPRESS - raced wide in the early stages. Driver A Edge admitted a breach of Rule 869(2) in that he used his whip in an excessive manner inside the final 400 metres. After hearing submissions on penalty, the JCA imposed a fine of $200.
CLAUS - held up for clear racing room in the early and middle stages of the home straight.
EARTHQUAKE - struck pylons on the home turn. When questioned regarding the performance, driver T Woodward advised he was disappointed with the effort and could offer no explanation. A post-race veterinary examination showed no abnormalities.
LIVING LEGEND - had to be steadied when placed in restricted room racing into the first bend. Held up for clear racing room rounding the final bend.
FLAMBOYANT - over-raced in the early stages.

LOISSONYA - weakened from the 600 metres. Placed in restricted room rounding the final bend and struck pylons.
YANKEE DIVA - over-raced passing the 1200 metres when being restrained to obtain cover. Had to be steadied near the 500 metres when placed in restricted room. Weakened final bend. Driver G O'Reilly reported he was unable to activate the removable deafeners due to the cord becoming entangled.
WESTBURN YIELD - hung inwards near the 300 metres placing inside runner in restricted room.
REKLAW'S GEM - raced wide without cover through the early stages before progressing to the lead with 1200 metres to run.
WITH THE BAND - hung in the score up and was back slightly at the start.
SHE'S OUTSTANDING - held up for clear racing room rounding the final bend.
SEMIRAMIDE - hung inwards in the run home.
AIN'T SHE SWEET - raced wide without cover in the early stages.

STELLAR SUCCESS - hung inwards rounding the first bend.
ELVIS P - raced wide without cover through the early stages.
MICHELLE - broke in the score up and was back slightly at the start.
STAR PRIDE - trotted roughly and over-raced in the early stages. Again trotted roughly in the run home.
GLOBE TREKKER - broke at the start losing all chance.
RUM IN THE SUN - hung inwards when improving without cover near the 1500 metres. Driver J Cox advised he did not activate the removable deafeners.

QUEEN BEE BARDON - hung inwards leaving the final bend and in the home straight.
SHEZZA GNP - held up rounding the final bend and in the early and middle stages of the run home.

NOBLE MISTRESS - trotted roughly in the score up and was out of position at the start. Weakened final bend.
WAIT FOR SUCCESS - broke in the score up losing considerable ground.
ONE OVER DA SKYE - raced wide rounding the final bend. Driver R May reported that he did not activate the removable deafeners.
HORSE OF COURSE - late scratching at 10am on Veterinary advice.
THIS WAY COMES - trotted roughly in the score up and was out of position at the start. Raced wide throughout. Weakened from the 500 metres.
EDESIA - Trainer C Butt advised the mare would be racing without shoes.
LOVEY DOVEY MOMENT - trotted roughly in the home straight and was unable to be driven out.
FLYING MONKEY - raced wide without cover in the early and middle stages.
ASTOUND - briefly hampered late in the score up. Over-raced through the middle stages. Broke late in the run home. Authorisation of 4th placing was withheld until Stewards confirmed the filly had complied with the Breaking Horse Regulations and was not lapped on at the finish.
ABOUT LAST NIGHT - briefly hampered late in the score up. Trotted roughly in the early stages and again in the run home.
RED HARBOUR - broke in the score up and was out of position at the start. Held up final bend. Broke again with 200 metres to run.

ALREADY GONE - hung inwards and paced roughly near the 50 metres and had to be steadied.
KENDRA - lay inwards over the concluding stages.
SEZANA - lay inwards over the concluding stages.
MAJORCA - over-raced early stages. Held up on the final bend and in the early stages of the home straight.

SMARTER VC - hung inwards in the latter stages of the score up and raced keenly.
FRANCO TRISTAN - over-raced early stages.
MICKY GEE - over-raced early stages. Held up for clear racing room in the early stages of the run home.

SODS LAW - weakened final bend.
LIGHTWORKOFIT - weakened final bend.
ANOTHER CHAPTER - hampered by a breaking runner passing the 600 metres. Held up for clear racing room rounding the final bend.
BONNIE HIGHLANDER - raced wide without cover in the early stages. Broke with 600 metres to run and was shifted inside the marker line. Driver D Dunn reported the mare had trotted roughly throughout. A post-race veterinary examination showed signs of stifle sensitivity. A veterinary clearance is required prior to the mare resuming racing.
ARNOLD - trotted roughly in the score up and was out of position at the start.
TIJUANA TAXI - trotted roughly rounding the final bend.
JAW D NANCY - broke in the score up losing all chance.

The start was delayed due to the gear on OFFICIALDON requiring attention.
DEBNITA ROSE - the rein pricker was removed prior to the start after the mare warmed up unfavourably. Weakened final bend.
QUEEN OF GLORY - broke after 150 metres losing all chance.
HAYDEN'S MEDDLE - late scratching at 6.10pm on Veterinary advice.
OFFICIALDON - over-raced in the early stages. Driver T Williams reported that the gelding had been striking his sulky wheels.
ANYTIME - over-raced passing the 1400 metres when being restrained to obtain a trail. Held up for clear racing room rounding the final bend.
 
Race 11BLUE STAR TAXIS MOBILE PACEVideo  Video 
BELLA VELOCE - held up for clear racing room rounding the final bend. Hampered approaching the 100 metres. Driver T Chmiel advised he did not activate the removable deafeners.
PEACE TRAIN - paced roughly after 100 metres.
MOSSDALE ART - hung inwards in the home straight despite the efforts of driver R May and made contact with BELLA VELOCE approaching the 100 metres. A warning was placed on the racing record of the filly.
LILBITBETTOR - briefly placed in restricted room near the 150 metres.
DARK RAGE - broke in the score up losing all chance. Declared unruly for future mobile starts.
MATAU GEM - raced greenly late in the score up and was back slightly at the start.
KING OF HEROES - broke in the score up losing several lengths. A warning was placed on the mobile barrier record of the gelding.
