LITTLEBITOFLOVE - became fractious and reared at the start before swinging sideways checking another runner on the 20 metre handicap mark and was slow away. Broke shortly after the start and lost all chance. The filly was declared unruly for future standing starts at the trainer's request.
IMNOTQUITESURE - checked shortly after the start by LITTLEBITOFLOVE.
BROOKS BELLE - broke passing the 400 metres losing all chance. The filly was declared ineligible until such time it trials satisfactorily.
OPAWA SPEED - broke approaching the first bend losing its chance.
SWINGING - broke passing the 200 metres.
BET'S COMMANDO - broke at the start and trailed the field.
ZIMPLE - held up rounding the final bend by a tiring runner.

AFORTUNADO - checked by a breaking runner passing the 1500 metres.
THE PERSUADER - checked for a stride passing the 1800 metres when racing in restricted room inside REDMARO and FRANCO CALIPH, which tended to lay in. An investigation was held into this incident and after viewing the replays and hearing the relative evidence, blame could not be solely attributed to any individual horse or driver and no further action was deemed necessary. Shifted out under pressure passing the 150 metres.
REDMARO - momentarily placed in tight quarters passing the 150 metres.
FRANCO CALIPH - lay in approaching the 1800 metres. Checked by a breaking runner passing the 1500 metres.
GOTTA MOMENT - checked by a breaking runner passing the 1500 metres.
SPARE CHANGE - broke for a few strides when in the lead passing the 1500 metres, causing checks to trailing runners. A warning was placed on the mare's racing manners record.
LYNTON CREEK - checked for a stride approaching the 1800 metres. Raced three wide from the 1000 metres. Lay in under pressure in the run home.
TORO DELAGO - checked for a stride approaching the 1800 metres.

DANKE - broke shortly after the start losing ground.
ANGUS FOGG - broke passing the 1200 metres losing ground. Broke again at the 500 metres. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners.
MAJESTIC STRIDE - broke at the start and again passing the 1400 metres after being hampered by a galloping runner.
THE HULK - inconvenienced by a breaking runner shortly after the start.
HARRY H - broke after becoming unbalanced racing over the crossing near the 1600 metres and trailed the field.
FRANCO NADAL - broke at the start losing considerable ground. The authorization of placings was withheld until such time that Stewards were satisfied that FRANCO NADAL had not been denied a fair start.
BLOOD AND WHISKY - broke passing the 1400 metres losing all chance.

ROBERT'S DREAM - held up rounding the final bend.
BYE BYE LUCY - broke in the score up missing the start by 20 metres. A warning was placed on the mare's mobile barrier manners. Briefly checked passing the 900 metres.
PHILLYDOTCOM - broke approaching the 1400 metres and recovered quickly. The filly paced roughly passing the 900 metres after an easing of the pace, which resulted in checks to trailing runners.
CHA CHA B - broke shortly after the start recovering to settle at the rear of the field. A warning was placed on the gelding's mobile manners. Checked briefly passing the 900 metres.
KHALEESI BROGDEN - lay in over the early stages of the run home before shifting ground to obtain clear racing room passing the 150 metres.

DRIZELLA - broke in the score up causing a false start after the second line horses were checked. A warning was placed on the filly's mobile barrier manners. Driver P Butcher elected to retain his barrier one position for the restart. Broke shortly after the start losing ground.
CATCH THE DREAM - broke in the score up after a false start was declared because of interference to the second line. A warning was placed on the gelding's mobile barrier manners. Junior driver T Lethaby elected to start from the unruly position for the restart. Checked by a breaking runner near the 1600 metres. Raced fiercely middle stages.
ARDEN'S SILHOUETTE - shifted out under pressure in the run home.
MY BOY BOO - inconvenienced by a breaking runner shortly after the start.
BETTOR EDITION - lay out badly on a number of occasions before being held up over the early and middle stages of the run home.
JAFFA - became unbalanced and broke racing over the crossing losing considerable ground.

MASTER OF ESCAPE - an investigation was held into an incident approaching the 1200 metres when MASTER OF ESCAPE shifted out to a three wide position forcing BILL HALEY over extra ground. It was established that driver K Marshall had commenced to shift prior to BILL HALEY covering his wheel and no further action was taken other than to remind Mr Marshall of his obligations in relation to the Push Out Rule.
BILL HALEY - improved three wide from the 1400 metres, briefly four wide approaching the 1200 metres, to race outside the leader at the 1000 metres. Weakened from inside the 500 metres finishing well back. A post race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormality. Trainer/driver J Abernethy advised that the tongue tie broke during the running, which may have contributed to the gelding's poor performance.

There was a 2 minute delay to the start of this race at the request of the TAB.
RED RIVER DASH - paced roughly over the early stages and was slow to begin. Raced three wide from the 1200 metres. Weakened final stages.
HEZALUCKYGRINNER - driver N Chilcott advised she did not activate the deafeners or sliding blinds.
SWEET MAGGIE RYAN - three wide from the 1100 metres.
WICKLOW STAR - three wide from the 1200 metres. Weakened out over the later stages.

CLASSIE AMERICAN - broke shortly after the start losing considerable ground, adding to its 25 metre handicap. Attempted to improve wide rounding the final turn but failed to run on.
LUSTY MAC - weakened out over the concluding stages. Junior Driver B Butcher was cautioned in regard to using his whip outside the confines of the sulky after being eased to a three wide position approaching the 700 metres.

ALLY MAE - broke shortly after the start settling midfield. A warning was placed on the filly's mobile barrier manners.
WHALE RIDER - driver A Donnelly admitted a charge under Rule 869(2) in that she used her whip excessively over the final 400 metres. The JCA imposed a fine of $300.00.
AMERICAN LEGEND - broke approaching the first bend losing all chance. A warning was placed on the filly's racing manners.
MISSINMEMATE - paced roughly at the start then broke for a few strides.
