SECRETOFTHESEA SMILE - weakened final turn.
INSIGNIFICANT - Trainer B Hutton was issued a Minor Infringement Notice and fined $100 for presenting the mare without the notified pacifiers. Broke losing at least 30 metres at the start.
MEKONG PRINCESS - trotted roughly near the 1500 metres when shifting ground from the running line to the two wide line causing checks to DANKE and the two wide line runners. Over-raced middle stages when trailing on the outer. Trotted unevenly throughout the run home and could not be driven out fully. A warning was placed on the mare's racing manners record.
DANKE - checked approaching the 1500 metres.
MONARO MIA - Trainer G Neill was issued a Minor Infringement Notice and fined $100 for presenting the filly without the notified pacifier. Broke at the start losing considerable ground. Checked when there was an easing of the pace and trotted roughly as a result approaching the 1500 metres.
SOL INVICTUS - checked due to an easing of the pace approaching the 1500 metres.
NOVEMBER GUY - held up rounding the final bend and throughout the run home.

DRIZELLA - paced roughly rounding the first bend. Held up early by a tiring runner until passing the 300 metres.
WILLIE FROST - paced roughly rounding the first turn. Tired quickly inside the final 400 metres.
WYNBERG JEWEL - lay in during the score-up.
DELIA MAY - broke middle stages of the score-up when being restrained off the back of HANNAH EXTREME which paced roughly but recovered prior to dispatch. Over-raced middle stages.
FOXY SISTER - gave ground from the 600 metres. Hung inward badly during the running. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. A warning was placed on the filly's racing performance.
HANNAH EXTREME - paced roughly for a stride when hard on the gate during the score-up.

GO PADDY - a length out of position at the start and paced roughly shortly after the start. Driver A Pyers was cautioned and reminded of his obligations to maintain his barrier position until the start. Held up early final turn.

TOLL GATE - Driver A Pyers was shown the video coverage of the run home and cautioned to maintain a straight line during the course of the run home.
THE HURRICANE - held up early final turn and then again late in the run home when disappointed for a run to the inside of TOLL GATE.
RANGI RANGDU - locked sulky wheels with AMARO between 150 and 100 metres.
AMARO - locked sulky wheels with RANGI RANGDU between 150 and 100 metres.
BURNING REIGN - weakened final stages. Driver D Jones was cautioned in regard to using his whip when out of contention.

MEGATRON - tended to over-race when outside the leader during the middle stages.
MUSTANG GT - lay in when being eased entering the first turn.

MASTER OF ESCAPE - held up early final turn.
CAPTAIN KIRK - badly held up final turn and then checked by the breaking CAPITAL GIRL. Driver A Poutama was questioned in relation to his decision to surrender the lead to CAPITAL GIRL approaching the 1000 metres. Mr Poutama explained that he felt he had little option other than to hand up at this stage due to CAPITAL GIRL over-racing badly to his outside.
CAPITAL GIRL - over-raced early and middle stages when outside the leader before improving to lead near the 1000 metres. Lay out under pressure near the 250 metres and broke checking the trailing runner. A warning was placed on the mare's racing manners record.

HELIX - raced three wide early. Weakened final stages.

ATOM HANOVER - raced three wide early. Tired from the 500 metres. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality.
ULTIMATE DESIRE - raced four wide from the 700 metres.
C A PENNY - raced three wide early and middle stages before being restrained back to the rear.
MADIBA - held up briefly home turn.
