| MIRANDA CULLEN - weakened considerably from the 1100 metres. This mare was subjected to a post-race Veterinary examination at the request of Trainer/Driver T Jellyman which revealed no obvious abnormalities. A warning was placed on its performance. | |

| LILBITBETTOR - broke when negotiating the crossing with 1100 metres to run. | |
| AZZA - was slightly out of position at dispatch despite the efforts of Driver R Anderson. | |

| GIVEMEWHATINEED - broke in the score up and took no part. Connections were advised that this gelding must trial to the satisfaction of Stewards from behind the mobile on two occasions prior to resuming. | |

| CONQUISTADOR - out of position by a distance at dispatch with a final warning being placed on its mobile barrier record. Paced roughly final stages. | |

When questioned in regards to its performance Driver L O'Reilly stated that its tendency to over race through the middle stages had taken its toll on the mare's ability to finish its race off in a competitive manner. A subsequent Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. | |

Stewards spoke with Starter P Lamb who apportioned this to the position of the mobile barrier at this point and not to MANINTHEMIRROR manners. | |

| AWAYOVERNIGHT - held up throughout the run home. Driver R Payne advised due to this he did not activate the colt's removable deafeners. | |
