ANOTHER MASTERPIECE - driver T Williams reported that he did not activate the removable deafeners applied to the gelding due to having the field covered.
MIGHTY FLYING ART - raced greenly as the start was effected shifting outwards and inconveniencing ELOQUENT MACH and YOU TOO.
ELOQUENT MACH - inconvenienced momentarily as the start was effected. Lay inwards when placed under pressure in the home straight.
YOU TOO - inconvenienced momentarily as the start was effected. Paced roughly entering the first bend when being restrained.
WOLF WEST - raced greenly during the score up and was slightly out of position at dispatch.

STONE THE CROWS - commenced to give ground from the 1200 metres and was not persevered with thereafter. Stewards requested a post-race veterinary examination which revealed the gelding had suffered an atrial fibrillation. Trainer J Hay was advised that a veterinary clearance would be required prior to STONE THE CROWS racing next.
LIKETHELOOK - hampered by a breaking runner near the 1500 metres. Raced wide over the final 1000 metres. Checked near the 300 metres when racing to the outside of ARCHMAN (R McIlwrick) resulting in LIKETHELOOK being forced outwards into the line of TRIROYALE BRIGADE which was hampered.
TRIROYALE BRIGADE - out of position at dispatch. Driver N Williamson was issued with a warning. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 1500 metres. Hampered and paced roughly passing the 300 metres.
BOLD RULER - raced wide in the early stages. Lay inwards near the 200 metres momentarily locking wheels with another runner.
ANSETT FLIGHT - over-raced in the middle stages.
CAST A SHADOW - hampered by breaking runner near the 1500 metres. Hung inwards rounding the final bend.
ARCHMAN - driver R McIlwrick defended a breach of Rule 869(3)(b) in that he drove carelessly near the 300 metres when shifting outwards checking LIKETHELOOK, which in turn was forced into the line of TRIROYALE BRIGADE which was hampered. After viewing the video coverage and hearing evidence, the JCA upheld the charge and imposed a fine of $400.
BRIDESDALE ROBYN - broke passing the 1500 metres hampering several trailing runners. Driver A Beck reported the filly had locked onto the boring pole causing him some difficulty. A warning was placed against the filly's racing manners record.
REPARTEE - held up on the final bend.
GROOMSMAN - locked wheels momentarily with another runner near the 200 metres.
JABALI - held up rounding the final bend and in the early stages of the home straight.

BROADWAY BANNER - lay outwards throughout the home straight. Driver M Williamson reported the gelding had resented the boring pole and would be recommending gear changes prior to its next start.
CARLO GAMBINO - held up rounding the final bend and through the early stages of the home straight.
TACT MAGGIE - raced wide in the early stages. Improved its position wide from the 700 metres.
ZENOLA'S ART - raced keenly in the early stages. When questioned regarding the performance driver B Orange reported the filly had raced keenly during the running which in his opinion had taken its toll when placed under pressure over the concluding stages.
BE INSPIRED - raced greenly in the early stages being inclined to lay inwards and contact several track markers.
BETTERTHANBRIE - paced roughly in the early stages. Held up rounding the final bend and through the early stages of the home straight until near the 100 metres.

NOTTINGHAM K TWO - trotted roughly in the early stages losing ground.
LYNETTE THE VET - weakened rounding the final bend.
GORILLA PLAYBOY - removed from the Unruly for future standing start events.
SONEY BEATT - over-raced in the middle stages. Weakened rounding the final bend.
ZOEY'S GIFT - trotted roughly in the early stages. Broke entering the first bend, then again on several occasions. Driver M Williamson reported the mare had been unsuited to the tight-turning nature of the bends.
B D SON - raced keenly through the middle stages when leading. Driver D Dunn reported he did not activate the removable deafeners applied on the gelding due to having the field covered.
GRACE O'MALLEY - hung inwards through the early stages, then broke near the 2300 metres. Broke again passing the 2100 metres losing considerable ground.
JAW D NANCY - broke shortly after the start, then again passing the 1700 metres losing ground.

OLIVIA RACHEL - momentarily inconvenienced by KAYLA MARIE passing the 150 metres. Following the event, Stewards spoke with driver D Dunn who advised that his chances has not been affected when inconvenienced by the 1st placed KAYLA MARIE in the home straight and elected not to proceed with an objection.
BEAUDIENE OVERTAKE - paced roughly in the score up and was slightly out of position at dispatch.
DRACARYS - broke when being restrained entering the first bend losing its chance. When questioned regarding this, driver T Williams was unable to offer any tangible explanation. A warning was placed against the filly's racing manners record.
KAYLA MARIE - raced greenly when placed under pressure in the home straight and near the 150 metres shifted outwards momentarily inconveniencing OLIVIA RACHEL.

SHOW GAIT - broke entering the first bend when contacting the sulky wheel of LUBY LOU (T Williams) which shifted inwards when insufficiently clear.
THE GREAT REDEEMER - trotted roughly during the score up. Hung inwards entering the first bend placing QUEEN OF LOVE in restricted room. Broke rounding the first bend inconveniencing the trailing KENNY'S DREAM and SPEEDY COMMAND. Hampered by breaking runner near the 1750 metres and in consequence, broke.
SOUTH PARK - trotted roughly during the score up and was out of position at dispatch. Weakened from the 600 metres.
LUBY LOU - driver T Williams admitted a breach of Rule 869(3)(b) in that he drove carelessly entering the first bend when permitting the filly to shift inwards when not sufficiently clear of SHOW GAIT which was checked. After hearing submissions on penalty, the JCA imposed a fine of $400.
ZSA ZOE - inconvenienced by a breaking runner rounding the first bend.
SPEEDY COMMAND - broke near the 1800 metres when hampered by a breaking runner.
QUEEN OF LOVE - raced in restricted room entering the first bend when inside THE GREAT REDEEMER which hung inwards, contacting several track markers and breaking. Authorisation of 4th placing being awarded was withheld until Stewards were satisfied the filly had complied with the Breaking Horse Regulations when in a gallop through the early stages.
KENNY'S DREAM - inconvenienced by a breaking runner rounding the first bend. Broke when placed under pressure passing the 150 metres.
ONE OVER DA SKYE - broke during the score up and was out of position at dispatch. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 1750 metres. Broke near the 400 metres losing its chance.
SOMETHINGS BURNING - trotted roughly in the early stages. Broke near the 1700 metres losing considerable ground.

ZEALAND STAR - broke during the score up and was out of position at dispatch. A warning was placed against the gelding's mobile barrier record.
DUKE OF WELLINGTON - held up rounding the final bend and through the early stages of the home straight until near the 100 metres.
DISMARA - broke entering the first bend when contacting the sulky wheel of THE BUS (S Ottley) which in turn was crowded inwards by THE BULL PEN (C Ferguson).
KILOWATT KID - hung inwards entering the home straight and paced roughly for a short distance.
THE BULL PEN - raced wide in the early stages. Driver C Ferguson admitted a breach of Rule 869(3)(b) in that he permitted the gelding to shift inwards entering the first bend which in turn crowded THE BUS inwards onto DISMARA which was checked. After hearing submissions on penalty, the JCA imposed a fine of $350.
FRANCO SANTINO - raced greenly in the score up and was back slightly at the start. Held up rounding the final bend and through the early stages of the home straight.
VIN SCULLY - improved wide through the middle stages to obtain the parked position.
THE BUS - crowded entering the first bend and had to be restrained. Raced wide in the early stages.
CONVAIR HUSTLER - over-raced in the early and middle stages.

ANNIE FITZ - had difficulty obtaining clear running in the early stages of the home straight.
RAKSBET - raced wide in the early stages until obtaining a leading position near the 1500 metres. When questioned regarding performance driver B Orange reported that after working hard in the early stages the filly's effort had told when placed under pressure in the home straight.
JODY DIREEN - held up rounding the final bend and through the early stages of the home straight. Driver D Dunn reported he was unable to activate the sliding blinds applied to the mare due to the release cord becoming entangled.
CHITURA - hung inwards rounding the final bend. When questioned regarding performance driver C Thornley could offer no tangible explanation. Stewards requested a post-race veterinary examination which revealed no obvious abnormalities.
DIBABA - raced keenly in the early stages.
TIZIANO - hung inwards through the early stages of the home straight and had to be straightened.
TARA TUTAIA - raced in restricted room during the score up and was back slightly at the start.
SHEZACULLENGIRL - raced wide over the final 1200 metres. Hung inwards and paced roughly passing the 800 metres.

MACHJAGGER - weakened rounding the final bend.
MIGHTY SANTANA - broke at the start. A warning was placed against the gelding's standing start record.
FIERY FERRET - held up rounding the final bend.
BAILEYS KNIGHT - broke at the start. Authorisation of 4th placing being awarded was withheld until Stewards were satisfied the gelding had complied with the Breaking Horse Regulations when in a break through the early stages.
THE BIG BOSS - broke at the start.
MY WEE MAN - paced roughly when placed under pressure over the concluding stages.
MAVERICK - when questioned regarding the performance trainer/driver N McGrath reported the gelding to have raced lethargically throughout the event. Stewards requested a post-race veterinary examination which revealed no obvious abnormalities.
MORE THE BETTER - driver T Williams reported that he did not activate the removable deafeners applied to the horse due to having the field covered.

PLAYBOY'S BROTHER - broke near the 1450 metres.
KING CASSIDY - broke for a distance rounding the first bend.
ACE COMMANDER - weakened near the 600 metres.
MY AMOUR - broke at the start. Broke entering the first bend, then again near the 1800 metres. A warning was placed against the gelding's racing manners record.
VALMAGNE - weakened near the 600 metres.
LE LIEVRE'S GIFT - broke at the start losing considerable ground.
WAR MACHINE - broke at the start losing considerable ground.
DESTINY JONES - underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was cleared to start.

PLEASE SHUDDUP - over-raced in the middle stages.
FRANCO SAXON - held up rounding the final bend.
EXPRESSO MARTINI - raced wide in the early stages. Weakened from the 700 metres.
SOME EXCUSESOMEWHERE - broke near the 850 metres losing its chance. A warning was placed against the gelding's racing manners record.
ESPECIAL - broke passing the 350 metres when awkwardly positioned behind SWAMP MAJOR. After hearing from driver D Dunn in relation to this, Stewards adjourned the matter to give it further consideration.
SWAMP MAJOR - when questioned regarding the performance driver B Orange reported that in his opinion the gelding had been unsuited to the tight-turning nature of the bends and had been striking a knee on occasions. Mr Orange added that SWAMP MAJOR had not raced for an extended period of time and would derive benefit from the run.
IT AIN'T THE MONEY - hampered by a breaking runner near the 350 metres.
