Race 6 - PETER COCKS FOR DAIRY CYLINDERS MOBILE PACE
Trainer T Proctor advised Stewards on 6 March that following its disappointing performance at Winton on 18 February blood tests taken from the mare revealed some abnormalities with these being treated. Mr Proctor added that TACT MAGGIE will have some gear changes for her resumption this weekend.

The connections of CALENDAR GIRLZ advised Stewards on 6 March that the mare has shown no ill-effects from its run on a heavy track at Waikouaiti and has worked pleasingly in preparation for its engagement at Forbury Park on Thursday.

ROBBIE ROYALE - Backed away shortly after the start was effected checking the trailing TAIMATE RAFFA. Broke near the 1700 metres, then again passing the 1500 metres. Trainer B Norman was advised the gelding must complete one satisfactory trial prior to racing next.
PAT THE MONKEY - Stewards spoke with driver J Morrison regarding him being late to arrive on course. Stewards accepted Mr Morrison's explanation on this occasion, however he was reminded of his obligations. Held up rounding the final bend.
WAYWARD ROC - Stewards spoke with driver D Dunn regarding him being late to arrive on course. Stewards accepted Mr Dunn's explanation on this occasion, however he was reminded of his obligations. Paced shortly after the start and was checked into a gallop losing considerable ground. Broke near the 200 metres when well back and out of contention.
MISS BAMBOOCHA - Trotted roughly in the early stages losing ground.
TAIMATE RAFFA - Checked at the start and raced inside the track marker line for a short distance. Authorisation of dividends was briefly withheld until Stewards were satisfied that the mare had not gained an advantage in doing so.
ZONED SCARLETT - Stewards spoke with driver B Orange regarding him being late to arrive on course. Stewards accepted Mr Orange's explanation on this occasion, however he was reminded of his obligations. Broke shortly after the start.
EDESIA - Hung inwards throughout and had to be straightened on a number of occasions in the home straight when placed under pressure.
KATIKI LAD - Broke near the 1700 metres.
BE BEE LASS - Raced wide from the 900 metres. Trotted roughly and broke on the final bend when weakening.

BRING BACK BUCK - Broke at the start.
MILLWOOD CHARITY - Late scratching at 4.23pm on veterinary advice. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance.
MAXWELL MONTEZ - Lay outwards when weakening on the final bend and as a result locked wheels with CHAIN REACTION losing its chance.
AKRIS - Raced wide in the early stages prior to being restrained to a rearward position near the 1800 metres.
WALK LIKE A MAN - Over-raced passing the 1500 metres when being restrained to trail. Held up for a distance passing the 400 metres when trailing a weakening runner. Raced in restricted room over the concluding stages.
CHAIN REACTION - Locked wheels with MAXWELL MONTEZ near the 250 metres losing its chance.
AFRO DIZZY YAK - Inconvenienced and forced to shift wider on the track near the 200 metres.
PARTICULAR - Returned to the stabling area with a wound to its right front leg which required veterinary treatment.
BOBBIE'S MEDLEY - Broke racing into the first bend. Over raced middle stages. Broke again near the 800 metres losing its chance. A warning was placed against the mare's racing manners record. Trainer A Hoffman advised it was her intention to make gear changes and trial the mare before resuming.

SILVER DALE - Lay inwards and had to be steadied over the concluding stages.
MOTU SPEEDY STAR - Raced wide in the early stages before being restrained to the rear of the field.
NO MORE CHANGE - When questioned regarding the performance trainer C Ferguson advised the mare had been unsuited to racing parked in the early stages and in his opinion performed best when able to obtain cover at the earliest opportunity.
LOCKED OUT OF HEAVEN - Broke in the score up losing all chance. A warning was placed on the mobile barrier record of the gelding.
CALENDAR GIRLZ - Driver B Orange was cautioned to ensure he maintains his barrier position until reaching the dispatch point.
IT'S ALL OVER NOW - Weakened from the 500 metres. Driver M Hurrell reported the mare to have raced roughly throughout with a subsequent post-race veterinary examination revealing no apparent abnormalities. Trainer C Ferguson advised the mare would now be sent for a spell. Driver M Hurrell was cautioned to ensure he maintains his barrier position until reaching the dispatch point.
GO GETTA - Hung outwards throughout placing driver D Dunn in some difficulty. Held up rounding the final bend.
BEAUDIENE GAMBLER - Held up and had to be steadied over the concluding stages when in restricted room to the inside of SILVER DALE.

WHATA RAZZLE DAZZLE - Weakened from the 400 metres. Stewards questioned trainer/driver B Norman regarding the tactics he adopted through the early and middle stages when firstly contesting the early lead with CRUISIN REUBEN and secondly the reasons he elected to shift the gelding outwards near the 1500 metres which in turn left him to race parked. Mr Norman explained it had been his intention to lead from the outset as he felt his runner was best suited to holding that position. He added that having seen the career efforts of CRUISIN REUBEN he did not think it was a runner who was capable of taking him to the passing lane however had to relinquish the lead eventually when the pressure became too sustained. At that time he thought the lead would be available as that horse would be looking to take cover and he had intended to do so and then surrender to the improving GET IT ON. Mr Norman reported this did not happen due to CRUISIN REUBEN over-racing when he drew alongside and leaving him in the open for a considerable distance. After reviewing the films and considering his submissions, Mr Norman's comments were noted.
ARIZONA HIGHWAY - Broke in the score up losing all chance. A warning was placed on the mobile barrier record of the gelding.
LIMOSO - Raced wide early stages.
REAL CHANGE - Paced roughly in the score up and through the early stages. Hung outwards and lost ground passing the 900 metres. Was unable to maintain its position with the field thereafter. When questioned regarding performance driver C Ferguson reported that in his opinion the filly may be feeling the effects of recent racing. The connections advised it would be their intention to spell REAL CHANGE.
ARMSTRONG - Lay outwards when placed under pressure in the home straight.
JAMIES BAD BOY - Held up by a tiring runner rounding the final bend, then had difficulty obtaining clear running in the home straight.

EASTON FOXGLOVE - Hung outwards throughout placing driver D Dunn in some difficulty.
GOTTA B AWINNER - Lay inwards and struck a track marker near the 250 metres.
THEODORA HOPE - Broke in the score up checking the trailing HANS IDEAL with a false start being declared. Driver K McNaught elected to remain in his allocated barrier position for the restart. A warning was placed on the mobile barrier record of the filly. Broke again in the score up before the restart and failed to take any competitive part in the event. Placed on the unruly for future mobile starts. Trainer A Paisley advised he would add hopple shorteners to the filly's gear.
DEPEND ON WASHIE - Paced roughly in the early stages. Weakened from the 700 metres. When questioned regarding performance driver M Anderson reported the filly had at no stage felt comfortable in its gait. Stewards requested a post-race veterinary examination which revealed no apparent abnormalities.
IECHYD DA - Over raced middle stages.
EXCELLENT - Paced roughly near the 600 metres.
KATIES NIGHTMARE - Hung inwards throughout home straight to occupy the passing lane and was unable to be placed under any discernible pressure. A warning was placed against the mare's racing manners record.
FIRSTJOY - Held up rounding the final bend until near the 200 metres.

I'VE GOT THIS - Slow through the early stages before breaking entering the first bend losing its chance.
JEDDY R YA READY - Driver N Williamson was spoken to regarding the manner in which he used his whip in the home straight.

LANDORA'S LASSIE - Broke shortly after the start losing ground with the trailing SCARLETT LANE being inconvenienced. Driver D Keast was cautioned to ensure he takes a breaking runner clear of the field at the earliest opportunity when in similar circumstances.
FRENCH DESIRE - Trotted roughly in the early stages. Hung inwards and broke rounding the first bend.
SCARLETT LANE - Hampered by breaking runner entering the first bend. Had difficulty obtaining clear running in the early stages of the home straight.
SAY YOUR PRES - Broke rounding the first bend. Authorisation of 4th placing being awarded was withheld until Stewards were satisfied the mare complied with the Breaking Horse Regulations when in a gallop in the early stages.
WHATASISTA - Held up rounding the final bend and through the early stages of the home straight until passing the 100 metres.
OCH AYE THE NOO - Broke rounding the first bend. Forced into a four wide position near the 900 metres.
GORILLA PLAYBOY - Obliged to race four wide from the 600 metres.

VON RICHTHOFEN - Hung inwards and struck several track markers rounding the final bend.
TOUR DIRECTOR - Paced roughly when being restrained on entering the first bend. Over raced in the middle stages.
RAPHOE - Hampered by a tiring runner near the 600 metres and had to be steadied.
FOR THE CORZ - Broke shortly after the start. A warning was placed on the mobile barrier record of the mare.
PAY ME VISA - Broke briefly near the 1800 metres. Then raced wide for a distance until reaching the parked position near the 1400 metres. Gave ground from the 600 metres hampering a trailing runner.
MOTU TIME TO SHINE - Raced wide over the final 1100 metres, then weakened on the final bend.
SMOOTH MARA - Over raced middle stages.

JAKIRA - Over raced in the middle stages when leading. Weakened final bend. When questioned regarding the performance driver M Lewis reported the horse had not been suited to working in the early stages.
GOT A BEAUTY - Held up rounding the final bend.
HONOUR SCROLL - Raced wide early stages.
THE DIRECTOR - Lay inwards over the concluding stages and had to be straightened.
AVEROSS FERRARI - Hampered when trailing a weakening running rounding the final bend.
SKY CITY KING - Driver J Campbell reported that he did not activate the removable deafeners due to the release cord becoming entangled. When questioned regarding the improved performance trainer T McMillan advised that the gelding had not received all favours in its most recent outings and in his opinion had failed to handle the prevailing heavy track conditions over the two day meeting at Waikouaiti.
CHIEF KAPAI - Held up rounding the final bend when trailing a weakening runner and when being angled outwards struck the sulky wheel of AVEROSS FERRARI and in consequence broke. Stewards questioned driver B Laughton regarding this and after hearing his explanation Stewards were satisfied that his horse was over-racing and then further impeded by the weakening JAKIRA and so took the matter no further.
PORT HANOVER - Late scratching at 2.55pm on veterinary advice. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance.
TUHERBS TWO - Held up rounding the final bend and in the early stages of the home straight.
SPORTSCASTER - Paced roughly and broke near the 300 metres. A warning was placed against the gelding's racing manners record.

BOOMER - A false start was declared when the gelding breached the front-line barrier strand causing a delay. A warning was placed on the standing start record of the gelding.
MARTIN MCGUINNESS - Broke briefly at the start.
ARMA TWOSPOONS - Paced roughly in the early stages. Raced wide in the early stages.
THABOYZ TOY - Raced keenly for a distance passing the 800 metres.
HURRICANE BANNER - Held up rounding the final bend and throughout the home straight.
EASTWOOD CHIEFTAIN - Attempted to come up into the incorrect barrier position prior to the start. Driver M Lewis was cautioned regarding this.
LIBERAL ARDEN - Trainer/Driver T Chmiel reported that he was unable to activate the removable deafeners due to the release cord becoming entangled.
EDITORIAL - Raced wide in the early stages until near the 1000 metres. Weakened on the final bend. Driver D Dunn reported the gelding's effort had told over the concluding stages after working hard in the early stages.

ALEXY - Held up rounding the final bend and then again near the 200 metres having to shift inwards to obtain clear running.
HAPPY STYX - Trainer S Armour reported to the Stewards that the mare would be racing in season. Raced wide in the early stages.
