PAY MASTER - held up early stages of the run home.
FRANCO CALIPH - underwent a pre-race vet examination and was cleared to race. Driver S Wigg was unable to activate the hopple shorteners shortly after the start when the cord became entangled. The near side shortener released near the 200 metres.
POPPY DRAYTON - hung inwards on various occasions.
R GEE THREE - paced roughly shortly after the start.
REDMARO - back a length at the start. Driver C Wigg was warned to maintain her position until the start in the future.
BALFAST - delayed the start due to a hopple carrier strap requiring attention.

ARYA FAMOUS - over raced middle stages. Tired from the 600 metres.
MEERA - paced roughly after the start and then broke briefly. A warning was placed on the mare's mobile barrier record.
DRIZELLA - Trainer M Berger was issued a $100 Minor Infringement Notice for presenting the filly with blinds that were not notified.
POCKET MISS - broke late in the score up and was back marginally at the start. Broke again near the 1900 metres losing ground. The connections were advised a warning had been placed on the filly's racing manners.
FOR TONY - back at the start. Driver N Chilcott was warned to maintain her barrier position until the start in the future.

IDEALISTIC - held up final bend.
MRS ZIPPY - weakened run home.
CHRISTANNA - raced wide early stages.

WYNBERG JEWEL - over-raced and had to be steadied near the 2000 metres. Over-raced middle stages.
RACKETEERS BOY - held up final bend. Contacted the maker peg just prior to the passing lane when attempting a marginal run. After viewing the replays, Stewards were satisfied that no advantage had been gained.
TUIMANI - raced wide early stages. Broke approaching the 400 metres. A final warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners.
SHANWAY - raced wide early and middle stages. Raced greenly shifting inwards after 250 metres.
MAJOR WAYT - hampered 2000 metres. Over-raced for a distance.
AMERICAN AVENUE - broke for a few strides after 200 metres after shifting down off the back of AFORTUNADO which was being restrained.

PRETORIUS - tired approaching the 500 metres and locked stays briefly near the 400 metres.
BAR ROOM BRAWL - broke near the 1800 metres. Broke again at the 400 metres.
FRANCO NADAL - broke in the score up losing its chance.
SIR HENRY CASTLETON - locked stays briefly near the 400 metres when attempting a run to the outside of the weakening PRETORIUS.
DANKE - hampered near the 400 metres when held up.

THE PERSUADER - paced roughly after 200 metres and then again near the 800 metres.
VANHALEM - held up on the final bend and in the early stages of the run home.
HELENA IDEAL - was awkwardly positioned to the inside of THE PERSUADER and had to be steadied leaving the 800 metres.
ATOM HANOVER - broke as the start was effected losing its chance. A warning was placed on the gelding's mobile barrier manners.

CREDIT MASTER - Driver A Neal admitted a breach of Rule 869(2) in that he used his whip excessively over the final 400 metres. The JCA imposed a fine of $200.00.
MAJESTIC STRIDE - broke near the 400 metres.

REAL EAGLE - tired from the 400 metres. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
SOMEWHEREINBROOKLYN - held up rounding the final bend.

AS FREE AS AIR - hung inwards over the early stages and trotted roughly. Broke near the 2000 metres.
SAVITSKAYA - delayed the start by displaying poor barrier manners. Broke at the 1900 metres. Placed on the Unruly for future standing starts at Trainer's request.
AWA CATHRINE - hampered near the 2000 metres.
ZIMPLE - slow away and then broke near the 2000 metres. Broke at the 1600 metres losing ground and again at the 550 metres.
ANGUS FOGG - broke near the 2000 metres and again on several occasions.
THIS SKY ROX - Driver S Lawson reported that he had been unable to activate the removable deafeners due to the release cord becoming entangled.
