EMOJI - over-raced in the early stages when being restrained. Hung inwards when being improved forward near the 400 metres.
CONVAIR HUSTLER - when questioned regarding the performance driver B Barclay could offer no tangible explanation.
BROADWAY BANNER - hung outwards over the final 300 metres.
QUEEN OF THE NITE - paced roughly and broke shortly after the start. A warning was placed on the filly's mobile barrier record.
CHANGE UP DULC - improved wide from the 800 metres. Locked sulky stays momentarily with another runner near the 100 metres.

HONOUR SCROLL - raced wide in the early stages and when being shifted inwards near the 1300 metres, paced roughly.
PARTICULAR - raced wide in the early stages until being restrained to obtain cover near the 1800 metres. Hampered passing the 400 metres when trailing a weakening runner. Driver C Faithful was spoken to advisedly regarding this.
DREAMINSOVER - held up rounding the final bend.
VIGOROSO - when questioned regarding the performance driver M Williamson could offer no tangible explanation.
VINTAGE ROSE - raced wide in the early stages prior to obtaining the parked position near the 1200 metres. Compounded quickly from the 500 metres resulting in the trailing PARTICULAR being hampered.
BLUE CHIP LADY - raced wide in the middle stages.

LUNDQVIST - trotted roughly passing the 1000 metres.
NOTTINGHAM K TWO - raced in restricted room rounding the first bend contacting several track markers. Over-raced in the middle stages. Held up rounding the final bend and through the early stages of the home straight until near the 150 metres.
SCARLETT LANE - broke at the start losing considerable ground.
KIWI CRUSHER - hung inwards and broke entering the first bend losing considerable ground.
SVELT - held up throughout the home straight.
MAKAREWA RUM - crowded rounding the first bend. Trotted roughly passing the 1000 metres when there was an easing of the pace on the marker line. Held up rounding the final bend.
PRES THE BELLE - hung inwards rounding the first bend crowding MAKAREWA RUM which in turn placed NOTTINGHAM K TWO in restricted room.

CHITURA - driver C Thornley reported he did not activate the removable deafeners applied to this filly due to having the field covered.
HANS IDEAL - had difficulty obtaining clear running in the early stages of the home straight.
EDIE JACCKA - lay inwards when placed under pressure in the home straight, having to be straightened on a number of occasions.
THISLADYROCKS - paced roughly and broke shortly after the start losing its chance with the trailing LIS AMORE being hampered in consequence. Placed on the Unruly for future mobile barrier engagements.
ME AND MY EXCUSES - driver B Orange was cautioned when permitting the mare to shift outwards on the final bend taking other runners wider on the track.
KATH'S FINALE - raced wide in the early stages.
CHAR ELLIE - paced roughly in the early stages.
LIS AMORE - hampered by a breaking runner shortly after the start. Held up rounding the final bend and through the early stages of the home straight until near the 100 metres.
SPORTAGE DENARIO - paced roughly and broke approaching the 1200 metres losing all chance. A warning was placed against the mare's racing manners record.
ZENOLA'S ART - obliged to race wide exiting the final bend.

LYNETTE THE VET - held up in the early stages of the home straight.
WAR ADMIRAL - broke in the score-up, with starter Mr B Ward declaring a false start as he believed the gelding had caused LYNETTE THE VET to break briefly. A warning was placed on the gelding's mobile barrier record. Driver D Dunn elected to go to the Unruly position for the re-start where the gelding will remain for its future mobile start engagements. The removable deafeners were unable to be applied to the gelding for the restart when proving fractious. Raced keenly when wide through the middle stages. Trainer T Stratford advised that it would be the intention to spell WAR ADMIRAL.
DAIQUIRI - weakened on the final bend.
I'VE GOT THIS - broke at the start losing its chance.

STORMNTAZA - struck the sulky wheel of BETTORS ATOM (C Ferguson) near the 300 metres and in consequence paced roughly and broke, then fell to the track resulting in driver B Orange being dislodged from the sulky. After questioning drivers B Orange, C Ferguson and E Barron it was established that STORMNTAZA had hung outwards rounding the final bend and locked sulky stays with GLACIER COASTER (E Barron) and when attempting to relieve the pressure between these runners, STORMNTAZA hung inwards becoming awkwardly positioned and striking the sulky wheel of BETTORS ATOM. Driver Orange was examined by the St John Ambulance Paramedics and stood-down from his remaining engagements, being advised a medical clearance would be required prior to him driving next. STORMNTAZA underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed severe lacerations to the chest region and a bilateral nasal haemorrhage necessitating treatment. Connections were advised the gelding was stood-down pending a veterinary clearance and is to complete one satisfactory trial prior to racing next. Trainer C Barron advised he would be reassessing the gelding's racing future from his stable.
TACT MAGGIE - when questioned regarding the performance driver B Barclay advised the mare had proved disappointing under his urgings however he could offer no tangible explanation.
L J'S JET - declared a late scratching at 1.38pm after the gelding was unable to be loaded onto the float and transported to the meeting.
MISTER MIGHTY - paced roughly for a short distance passing the 200 metres.
CRUISIN REUBEN - weakened on the final bend. Inconvenienced near the 200 metres.
COMPLETE PACKAGE - raced wide in the early stages and near the 1800 metres contested a position with FRANCO JUNE for a short distance. Driver M Anderson was spoken to advisedly regarding the manner he drove at this stage of the event.
GLACIER COASTER - locked wheels with STORMNTAZA for a short distance near the 300 metres resulting in junior driver E Barron being dislodged from the sulky shortly after. Driver Barron was examined by the St John Ambulance Paramedics and found to be uninjured in this incident. GLACIER COASTER underwent a veterinary examination which revealed no obvious abnormalities.
LITE PICCOLO - weakened on the final bend then was hampered near the 200 metres when forced to take evasive action to avoid a fallen runner.

DACHY - held up rounding the final bend and through the early stages of the home straight until near the 100 metres.
BRIDESDALE ROBYN - weakened on the final bend. Driver C Ferguson reported the removable deafeners applied to this filly failed to activate due to the cord breaking.
RAKSBET - C Barron replaced B Orange as the driver of this filly due to Mr Orange being stood down by St John Ambulance Paramedics.
LOMA JACCKA - held up through the early and middle stages of the home straight until near the 100 metres.
IDEAL BREEZE - paced roughly rounding the first bend. Following the event connections expressed concern with the recovery of the mare. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities. Stewards will follow up the recovery with trainer D Baynes in the coming days.
INDIANA DREAMING - broke shortly after the start losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the mare's mobile barrier record.

OSSESSIONE - held up through the early and middle stages of the home straight until near the 50 metres. Driver M Williamson reported that due to this he was not afforded the opportunity to activate the removable deafeners applied to this gelding.
ARDTOO - raced wide in the early stages before reaching the parked position near the 1400 metres.
THE MAROON MARAUDER - hung outwards rounding the final bend.
SOUTHBOUND TRAIN - raced wide without cover over the final 1000 metres.
BETTOR BUY IT - weakened on the final bend.
EXPRESSO MARTINI - broke at the start losing its chance. A warning was placed on the gelding's mobile barrier record. Junior driver M Anderson reported EXPRESSO MARTINI had resented the boring pole.
SOME EXCUSESOMEWHERE - C Barron replaced B Orange as the driver of this gelding due to Mr Orange being stood down by St John Ambulance Paramedics. Held up rounding the final bend.
GOTTA MINUTE - raced wide in the middle stages.
ESPECIAL - raced wide in the middle stages.

SON OF BRAHMA - R Swain replaced B Orange as the driver of this gelding due to Mr Orange being stood down by St John Ambulance Paramedics. Paced roughly in the early stages.
ANSETT FLIGHT - broke in the score-up however recovered to take up its allotted position at the dispatch. Raced wide in the early stages.
KNOCKMANAUGH - out of position at the start. Driver C Thornley was issued with a warning. Paced roughly and had to be steadied near the 850 metres when there was an easing of the pace on the one-out line.
DUKE OF WELLINGTON - improved wide in the middle stages.
CULLENS AVENUE - paced roughly over the concluding stages after the under check applied on this gelding came adrift. Stewards inspected this gear and it was found to be in a satisfactory condition. Trainers M & D Shirley were issued a Minor Infringement Notice and fined $100 after failing to affix this gear so as not to come adrift.
FIRST SON - raced wide over the final 1000 metres.
VIN SCULLY - when questioned regarding the performance driver B Williamson expressed disappointment with the geldings effort however could offer no tangible explanation. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities. Stewards will follow up the recovery with trainer H Hunter in the coming days.

JOHN COLTRANE - weakened on the final bend. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities.
REPARTEE - over-raced in the middle stages then was improved wide to obtain the parked position near the 1050 metres. Weakened from the 400 metres. When questioned regarding the performance driver N Williamson advised that after over-racing through the early and middle stages the effort had told on the filly when placed under pressure.
NIGHTMARCH - raced wide in the early stages.
MAN I'M GOOD - held up rounding the final bend.
EL DINERO - raced wide in the early stages. Weakened from the 600 metres. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have suffered a cardiac arrhythmia. Connections were advised that a veterinary clearance is required including the results of an ECG prior to racing next.
PEGASUS MERRILY - the near side hopple applied to the mare broke near the 1000 metres. This gear was inspected by Stewards and found to be in satisfactory condition.
MY GEORGIE BOY - held up throughout the home straight with driver P Hunter advising that due to this he was not afforded the opportunity to activate the removable deafeners applied to the gelding.
ELLNBAC - held up rounding the final bend and through the early stages of the home straight.
