MAKE MY DAY - trotted roughly and broke passing the 200 metres. A warning was placed against the filly's racing manners record.
MISS BAMBOOCHA - trotted roughly rounding the final turn before breaking near the 300 metres resulting in the trailing THE POWER BROKER being inconvenienced. Connections were advised a final warning was placed on the mare's racing manners. Trainer C Laurenson advised he would be making shoeing alterations prior to racing next.
PEGASUS HANOVER - trotted roughly over the final 100 metres.
GEE P S - trotted roughly throughout the home straight.
ROBBIE ROYALE - broke when negotiating the crossing near the 1500 metres. Broke again on several occasions thereafter, with a warning placed against the gelding's racing manners record.
DREAM OF PAT - weakened from the 500 metres.
THE POWER BROKER - trotted slowly through the early stages. Inconvenienced by a breaking runner near the 300 metres.
GLENDHU GEM - broke shortly after the start and failed to settle for a considerable distance resulting in the trailing SPUR ME ON GENTLY being hampered.
SPUR ME ON GENTLY - broke shortly after the start when hampered by a breaking runner.

VON RICHTHOFEN - when questioned regarding the improved performance trainer R Gutsell advised that he had altered the gelding's training regime subsequent to its last start and it worked pleasingly in preparation for today's outing.
GOTTA GOOD LOOKER - lay outwards when placed under pressure in the home straight.
HONOUR THE BET - paced roughly when being steadied near the 450 metres.
HANS IDEAL - raced wide in the early stages.
BULLYS PRINCESS - inconvenienced near the 1500 metres.
LIS AMORE - held up rounding the final bend until being shifted outwards to obtain clear running near the 200 metres.
CARLO GAMBINO - held up rounding the final bend and through the early stages of the home straight.
SHERWOOD ASHLYN - out of position at the start. Stewards spoke with driver M Anderson regarding this and after hearing his explanation placed a warning on the mare's mobile barrier manners.
CLASSIE PRINCESS - hung outwards and made the crossing near the 1500 metres awkwardly, breaking in consequence and shifted outwards hampering HONOUR SCROLL. A warning was placed against the mare's racing manners record.
HONOUR SCROLL - hampered near the 1500 metres breaking in consequence. Held up through the early stages of the home straight until near the 150 metres.
IECHYD DA - inconvenienced near the 1500 metres. Improved wide through the middle stages. When questioned regarding the performance driver N Williamson advised the mare had over-raced through the early and middle stages so he elected to improve wide around the field to obtain the parked position near the 700 metres. Mr Williamson added that IECHYD DA then compounded when under his urgings in the final straight and he could offer no tangible explanation. Trainer B McIntyre advised he would not be persevering with the mare as a racing proposition from his stable.

OUR BUDD - broke when leading near the 250 metres. A warning was placed against the gelding's racing manners record.
OVERCAST - driver D Dunn reported he did not activate the removable deafeners applied to this mare due to having the field covered.
SCARLETT LANE - broke at the start.
LARCH - weakened on the final bend.
HEAVENLY LOVE - held up rounding the final bend when trailing a weakening runner, with the gelding then having difficulty obtaining clear running through the early stages of the home straight until near the 150 metres.
EYRE'S A RAG DOLL - broke at the start. Broke near the 1800 metres losing considerable ground. Trainer G McEwan was advised the mare was stood down pending one satisfactory trial prior to racing next. Mr McEwan advised he would be reassessing the mare's future as a racing proposition.
MAKAREWA RUM - broke entering the first bend. Broke near the 1300 metres and failed to settle for a considerable distance.
CRUSHER COLLINS - proved fractious and swung sideways prior to the tapes releasing. Stewards withheld payment of dividends until they had the opportunity to view replays of the start to ascertain whether CRUSHER COLLINS had been afforded a fair start. After re-viewing the video coverage and speaking with driver R Swain, trainer L Bond and starter Mr B Ward it was established that a starters assistant had impeded the mare's progress just prior to the start being effected. Subsequently, Stewards declared CRUSHER COLLINS a non-runner pursuant to Rule 213(1)(j).
KO WRECTED - broke entering the first bend. Broke again when negotiating the crossing near the 1500 metres.

ARMA TWOSPOONS - hung outwards in the early stages.
WALK LIKE A MAN - raced in restricted room for a short distance near the 700 metres. Held up rounding the final bend and throughout the home straight, going to the line without being fully tested by trainer/driver N Williamson.
IDEAL FOR SURE - held up rounding the final bend and through the early stages of the home straight.
LITE PICCOLO - raced greenly rounding the first bend. Paced roughly and broke near the 1300 metres hampering the trailing VINTAGE ROSE. Hung outwards when negotiating the bend near the 700 metres resulting in WALK LIKE A MAN being placed in restricted room. Held up in the early stages of the home straight.
HUNTERTON - broke shortly after the start. Steadied near the 2100 metres when there was an easing of the pace in the one-out line. Raced wide over the final 1000 metres.
TACT DENZEL - broke entering the first bend.
VINTAGE ROSE - began awkwardly. Steadied near the 2100 metres when there was an easing of the pace in the one-out line. Hung outwards through the middle stages. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 1300 metres.
MATAI JETSTAR - hung inwards through the early stages.
HEDONIST FRANCO - reared as the start was effected then paced roughly for a short distance. Held up in the early stages of the home straight.
FRANCO JUNE - hung outwards and broke shortly after the start.
FUN SPONGE - steadied near the 2100 metres when there was an easing of the pace in the one-out line. Removed from the Unruly for future standing start engagements.
STAR RULER - proved fractious prior to the start. Paced roughly when being steadied near the 2000 metres. Lost contact with the field near the 1400 metres and was not persevered with thereafter by its driver. Stewards requested a post-race veterinary examination which revealed the gelding to have a slow recovery. Co-trainer G Knight advised it would be the stable's intention to restrict the gelding to mobile starts on all weather tracks.

MAGNETIC WATCH - raced wide in the early and middle stages until reaching the parked position near the 600 metres.
ALEXY - held up rounding the final bend and through the early stages of the home straight until near the 200 metres.
MAN I'M GOOD - when questioned regarding the performance trainer/driver A Kyle advised that the gelding's effort had told when placed under his urgings over the concluding stages after working hard early in the race.
TANGLED UP IN BLUE - over-raced in the middle stages.
JUST WISH - paced roughly shortly after the start.
NIGHTMARCH - held up rounding the final bend and in the early stages of the home straight.
ELLNBAC - held up rounding the final bend and in the early stages of the run home.

TASHA JACCKA - held up in the early stages of the home straight.
SHINDAL - broke after 100 metres resulting in the trailing CONVAIR HUSTLER being hampered. A warning was placed against the gelding's mobile barrier record. Raced wide through the middle stages.
RIGHTEOUS WINSOME - broke as the start was effected and failed to settle for a considerable distance. A warning was placed against the mare's mobile barrier record. Paced roughly and broke passing the 400 metres.
CONVAIR HUSTLER - hampered shortly after the start when trailing a breaking runner.
MATINEE IDOL - raced wide through the middle stages. Held up throughout the home straight, with junior driver C Faithful advising she was not afforded the opportunity to activate the removable deafeners applied to the gelding due to this.
QUEEN OF THE NITE - held up in the early and middle stages of the home straight and when being shifted inwards in an attempt to obtain clear running, paced roughly and broke.
IT'S A LAUGH - hung outwards and paced roughly in the early stages. Held up in the early stages of the home straight.
CHANGE UP DULC - observed to have blood present in the mouth prior to the start, with a subsequent veterinary examination clearing the filly to start.

CANARDLY REMEMBER - held up rounding the final bend and through the early stages of the home straight until near the 200 metres.
ESSENCE OF EASTON - had difficulty obtaining clear running through the early stages of the home straight.
THE GO TO MAN - crowded approaching the first bend when TOBY O'GARA (M Purvis) shifted inwards when insufficiently clear. Raced wide in the middle stages.
TOBY O'GARA - junior driver M Purvis was cautioned for the manner in which he shifted ground racing into the first bend when crowding the running of THE GO TO MAN. Mr Purvis reported that the gelding had hung inwards throughout and would be recommending gear changes be applied prior to racing next.
NO MORE CHANGE - held up rounding the final bend and through the early stages of the home straight until near the 150 metres.
JACKS N JAZZ - raced four-wide from the 1200 metres when inclined to hang outwards. Hung outwards and ran wide rounding the final bend placing junior driver K McNaught in some difficulty. Mr McNaught advised the gelding had hung throughout. A warning was placed against the gelding's racing manners record.

IT'S ALL OVER NOW - junior driver M Hurrell reported the removable deafeners had unintentionally activated through the early stages.
HURRICANE BANNER - held up through the early and middle stages of the home straight until near the 100 metres.
BIG SMOKE - raced wide in the early stages until reaching the parked position near the 1200 metres.
NORTHVIEW BETTA - raced greenly in the score-up.

GRACE O'MALLEY - broke entering the first bend then again near the 1500 metres losing its chance.
ACE COMMANDER - held up in the early stages of the home straight.
I'VE GOT THIS - trotted roughly and broke near the 250 metres losing several lengths. Connections were advised the gelding was stood down pending one satisfactory trial prior to racing next.
SPOTLIGHT THE VALLEY - held up throughout the home straight.
KING CASSIDY - trotted slowly through the early stages. Trotted roughly for a distance passing the 1900 metres. Held up throughout the home straight.
ITS ELVIS - held up throughout the home straight, with driver B Orange reporting he was not afforded the opportunity to activate the removable deafeners applied to the gelding.
GOLDEN GATE - trotted roughly when placed under pressure passing the 200 metres and had to be steadied.

PASS THE SPEIGHTS - held up rounding the final bend when trailing a weakening runner.
SHEZACULLENGIRL - inconvenienced by a breaking runner shortly after the start.
ACOLYTE - struggled to maintain its position with the field rounding the final bend.
STAR COMMANDER - improved wide from the 800 metres.

RAPHOE - made the crossing near the 1500 metres awkwardly.
ZEALAND STAR - lay outwards when placed under pressure in the home straight, with driver N Williamson reporting that the gelding proved reluctant to shift down into the Passing Lane despite his efforts.
SOMEJOY - driver B Orange reported he did not activate the removable deafeners applied to the mare due to having the field covered.
