MONET LISA - lay inwards in score up and early stages placing an inside runner in restricted room. Continued to lay in throughout the running and in particular on the final turn and gave ground. A warning was placed on the mare's racing manners. | |

ANSE VATA - broke in the lead passing the 350 metres with Driver B Mangos shifting the galloping runner inside the marker line for safety reasons. The gelding then settled back into a trot gaining an advantage before returning to the track proper outside the marker line near the 200 metres to finish in 3rd placing. A non-contested Protest under Rule 869(7B) was lodged and upheld by the JCA with the gelding being disqualified from the race. | |
