SANTANNA LEGEND - Driver A Pyers was questioned in regard to the manner he drove in the run home when he appeared to have clear running passing the 200 metres between MARRERA and WAIKARI FIRE before then being shifted wider on the track and failing to secure clear racing room. Mr Pyers stated SANTANNA LEGEND had hung out badly during the running and in particular when he attempted to shift down to take the run that had become available in the passing lane so felt it was his best option to shift ground outwards in search of clear running. A warning was placed on the mare's racing manners record. | |
