J CEES CHOICE - swung sideways when the barriers were released.
MACKERELLI - broke shortly after the start.
PEGGY SPUR - broke near the 1800 metres.
AMABEDE - broke approaching the 1800 metres and then raced wide for the remainder of the race. Broke near the 550 metres losing its chance.
MEANDER WITH PEGASUS - Junior Driver S Quill admitted a charge under Rule 869(2) in that he used his whip excessively over the final 400 metres. The JCA imposed a fine of $200.00.
MAJESTIC ONE - Driver S Abernethy reported that he had been unable to activate the deafeners due to the cord breaking.

SARABI - broke late in the score up losing its chance. The filly was placed on the unruly for future mobile starts.
WESTERN ZEPHYR - lay in rounding the final bend. Paced roughly early in the run home. When questioned regarding the performance Co-Trainer/Driver L Neal advised the filly struck a knee badly when laying in which required treatment.

ANGUS FOGG - broke shortly after the start and settled at the rear. Broke near the 200 metres losing all chance. Driver O Gillies reported that the gelding had cast a plate when in the gallop in the run home.
MASS DESTRUCTION - broke approaching the winning post on the first occasion and settled near the rear.
MAJESTIC STRIDE - broke approaching the winning post on the first occasion. Broke approaching the 250 metres losing all chance. A warning was placed on the mare's racing manners.
MAKAREWA JAKE - over raced middle stages. Trotted roughly inside the final 300 metres.
PRIMUS INTER PARES - broke near the 1600 metres after becoming unbalanced racing over the crossing and settled at the rear.
GEORGE - Driver T Macfarlane advised that he did not activate the sliding blinds.
FRANCO NADAL - broke near the 300 metres and failed to settle. Was disqualified by the JCA from 5th placing for galloping in excess of 50 metres in the final 200 metres.
IL PIRATA - Driver R Paynter was questioned as to his apparent lack of vigour over the final stages. After taking initial evidence from Mr Paynter and viewing the replays the investigation was adjourned sine die to enable Stewards to review the gelding's racing on grass tracks and in particular when driven by Mr Paynter.

ZEN - broke at the start settling at the rear. A warning was placed on the mare's mobile barrier manners.
MAJOR WAYT - paced roughly in the early stages. Broke briefly approaching the 400 metres.
REAL EAGLE - paced roughly late in the score up and was back from the mobile at dispatch.

CREDIT MASTER - broke near the 600 metres losing its chance.
GALLEONS VICTORY - Junior Driver T Cameron admitted a charge under Rule 869(2) in that he used his whip excessively over the final 400 metres. The JCA imposed a fine of $200.00.
LOVELY BUNDY - shifted out abruptly under pressure just before the winning post.
BLOOD AND WHISKY - lay out on the final turn when leading.

GOTTA MOMENT - shifted out in the home straight after the near side sulky shaft came away from the quick hitch placing Driver S Abernethy at a considerable disadvantage. This gear was inspected and Trainer D Gale deemed not to be at fault.
TAHLIA FRANCO - Trainer N Chilcott was issued with a $25 colour fee.
TENNYSON INLET - paced roughly when attempting to improve three wide near the 1300 metres.
