GUPTA'S CULLEN - Driver M. McKendry reported an ear plug failed to release with the deafener hood.
QUEEN LOSTRIS - visiting American Driver D. Miller was warned to correct his whip action. Stewards reviewed the video coverage with Mr Miller in regard to his drive over the latter stages of the race and he was advised of his obligations to ensure that he drives his horse out fully to the finish in the future. In considering this matter Stewards took into account Mr Miller's explanation that he felt that QUEEN LOSTRIS had been doing its best and that he would not have finished in a higher position.
KIWI TINTIN - held up in the early stages of the run home.
WRANGLER - Driver J. MacKinnon reported that he had been unable to activate the removable deafeners due to the release cord breaking.
 
Race 2DUNSTAN SUMMER SERIES HANDICAP TROTVideo  Video 
GEORGE - taken down inside the marker line near the 2000 metres and retired from the event after sustaining a punctured off side sulky tyre. It was established that the tyre had been punctured when taking evasive action around the galloping SERTORIUS passing the 2500 metres.
SERTORIUS - broke entering the first turn and settled at the rear. The authorization of the payment of the first placing of the gelding was withheld until such time Stewards reviewed the video coverage and established that it was not in breach of the Breaking Horses Regulation.
THE CROWN JEWELS - held up over the early stages of the run home before shifting ground outward to obtain clear running.
GEENA'S SUCCESS - held up on the final turn and raced keenly before breaking inside the 300 metres losing all chance.
PRINCESS MACKENDON - inconvenienced by breaking runner entering the first turn.

The authorization of the payment of the dividends was withheld until such time that BETTOR STEP ASIDE and LA PRIX were late scratched under Rule 213(1)(j), and taken out of the betting pool. Stewards deemed that both horses were denied a fair start and as such their chances were materially prejudiced when both runners were distanced early in the score up due to an error of judgement by the Starter Mr F. Phelan.
IDEAL LASS - Centre carrier strap came adrift over the early stages. Under pressure mid-race when leading and then lay in and contacted marker pegs on the final turn when giving ground. Trainer S. Telfer was issued a Minor Infringement Notice and fined $100.00 for failing to affix the centre carrier strap so as not to come adrift
LOUD AN PROUD - held up early final turn.
SEA OF GOLD - weakened final turn.
 
Race 4HARAS des TROTTEURS HANDICAP TROTVideo  Video 
ALL OVER THE STARS - broke near the 2400 metres losing ground. Gave ground inside the final 500 metres.
OUR PETITE LADY - broke at the start losing all chance.
MAGNAFIQUE - broke approaching the 2400 metres checking trailing runners and locked wheels with AMANDA'S SPUR losing all chance. A warning was placed on the mare's racing manners record.
SAINT MICHEL - checked and broke approaching the 2400 metres losing considerable ground. Contacted and dislodged a track marker passing the 1300 metres.
AMANDA'S SPUR - locked wheels with the galloping MAGNAFIQUE approaching the 2400 metres losing all chance.
RED CASTLETON - held up early final turn.
LOVELY BUNDY - checked and broke approaching the 2400 metres losing considerable ground.
GIRLS ON FILM - checked and had to take evasive action approaching the 2400 metres.
ALTA VENETIA - broke passing the 250 metres and was taken down inside the marker line to avoid trailing runners. This horse was removed from the unruly list for standing starts.
ANGUS BURGA - inconvenienced approaching the 2400 metres by a breaking runner.
 
Race 5DUNSTAN SUMMER SERIES MOBILE PACEVideo  Video 
YASMINE BROMAC - placed in restricted room rounding the final bend when inconvenienced by a tiring runner.
HARPAGUS - out of position at the start by approximately 50 metres after being fractious and tardy and as a result was late to move away from the pre-race circle early in the score up. A warning was placed on this gelding's mobile barrier manners.
WHITEHAVEN BEACH - weakened from inside 400 metres inconveniencing trailing runners.
IDEAL STAR - underwent a veterinary examination and was found to have sustained a laceration to the off fore fetlock which required treatment, with the gelding requiring a veterinary clearance prior to resuming.
BIT OF A TIGER - raced three wide early.
BANNER OF ART - inconvenienced by a tiring runner inside the final 400 metres.
BETTOR EDITION - inclined to lay in on a number of occasions during the running and hung in badly rounding the final bend.
AHA REACTION - broke after briefly contesting a position with BETTOR EDITION at the rear of the field racing into the first bend. Junior Driver J. MacKinnon was shown the video coverage and cautioned in regard to the manner in which he attempted to shift ground.

MISSINMEMATE - held up over the early stages of the run home.
JUICE BROGDEN - Driver N. Chilcott advised that she did not activate the removable deafeners on the winner.
ZADAKA - held up rounding the final bend and again over the latter stages of the run home before getting clear racing room inside the final 50 metres.

STEP UP - failed to get clear racing room throughout the run home.
UTMOST DELIGHT - briefly locked stays with BETTER B AMAZED passing the 1100 metres.
BETTER B AMAZED - briefly locked stays with UTMOST DELIGHT passing the 1100 metres.
