SAMSKARA - broke when being improved wide on the track near the 500 metres losing its chance. Driver B Orange advised that the filly had paced indifferently throughout. Stewards will follow this up with trainer N McGrath in the coming days. | |
ROCKING ROBYN - broke near the 150 metres, shifting in abruptly checking several runners. Due to this gelding's recent indiscretions it is stood down to trial to the Stewards satisfaction on one occasion prior to racing next. | |

A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have a high heart rate with a endoscopic examination revealing mucous in its airway which will require treatment.
