STATELY - hampered by outside runner in the early stages.
BONNIE BOY - hung inwards through the early stages before breaking losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the mobile barrier record of the gelding. Continued to hang inwards throughout the running.

Race 2	SPEEDY SIGNS / ARONUI-TOHU WINES TROT Video
F7nPCcja97M DOLLY JONES - broke after 200 metres losing its chance. A final warning was placed on the racing manners of the mare. Placed on the unruly for future standing starts at the request of trainer D Hunter.
ZONED SCARLETT - hung outwards through the early stages.
VALLORIA - displayed poor barrier manners before charging the starting tape resulting in the field having to be turned away to readdress the barriers. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier record.
LOVEYOUTODOIT - trotted roughly throughout the home straight. Driver R Houghton reported that due to this he was unable to drive the mare out.
CHIEF OF STAFF - hung inwards and broke near the 200 metres.
MUCHACHA BONITA - hung inwards final bend.
MILLIONDOLLARMONKEY - trotted roughly in the home straight.
ONE YANKEE ANGUS - raced keenly middle stages. Broke near the 500 metres. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
RACHMANINOV - hung inwards rounding the final bend and trotted roughly. Continued to lay in throughout the run home.
WESTEROS - hampered near the 500 metres and had to be steadied.

BRONX VILLAGE - raced keenly in the middle stages.
SHE'S OUTSTANDING - broke at the start. Hung inwards throughout the home straight.
SONIC REIGN - slow to begin.
WESTBURN YIELD - broke at the start.
MANNERING - broke shortly after the start losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Weakened leaving the final bend. The connections advised it was their intention to return the horse to the trials prior to resuming.

OQcHKWmINEg I'M SICK OF EXCUSES - tired considerably from the 500 metres. Trainer F Baigent advised the mare would be sent for a spell. Stood down to complete one satisfactory trial.
THE BOUNDER - weakened leaving the final bend.
GOTTA TICKET - tired considerably from the 500 metres.
BARKLEY - trainer/driver C McDowell reported that the colt had cast a front shoe during the running.
The connections of GOTTA TICKET advised Stewards on 17 January that blood tests taken revealed that the gelding was suffering from ulcers and a low iron count. This is now being treated and GOTTA TICKET is having a brief spell.

WESTY RANGER - weakened final bend hampering trailing runners.
BOBBY M - badly held up final bend.
SHE'S EXTREME - raced wide early stages before being restrained to the rear of the field.
EARTHQUAKE - weakened leaving the final bend. When spoken to regarding the performance driver G Smith advised the gelding had raced lethargically throughout and had been very disappointing. A post race veterinary examination did not reveal anything which could explain the performance. Trainer S Smolenski advised that in his opinion the gelding had failed to back up from its first day race and that he would now be sending EARTHQUAKE for a spell.
FREAK LIKE ME - raced keenly throughout. Broke nearing the 300 metres.
CAITLIN FRANCO - raced keenly through the middle stages. Badly held up final bend and in the early stages of the home straight.
SHADOWMAN - underwent a post-race veterinary examination after being observed to be lame upon pulling up. This revealed signs of slight soreness in the left fore leg and also to be sensitive in the soles of its feet. It was recommended that pads be placed under the horse's shoes.

Race 6	NELSON BUILDING SOCIETY MOBILE PACE Video
yYgNu_cF7FA LAYTONS LASS - broke in the score up losing considerable ground. The mare will now be drawn unruly for future mobile starts. Weakened final bend.
RAINY RIVER - held up for clear racing room through the early and middle stages of the run home.
DEVILICIOUS - over-raced in the parked position through the middle stages. Weakened from the 500 metres. Subjected to a post race Veterinary examination with no abnormalities detected.
DE LANCOME - briefly hampered in the score up.
DIBABA - briefly hampered in the score up.

ROCKNPOP - broke at the start losing considerable ground. Weakened final bend.
CLIFDEN CLOWERS - weakened final bend.
EDEN CREEK - broke racing into the first bend.
LADY BEATRIX BOURBON - trotted roughly in the home straight. Cleared from the unruly for future standing starts.
MAJESTIC MOMENT - trotted roughly in the home straight.
REDWOOD INVASION - held up final bend.
BONNIE HIGHLANDER - broke racing into the first bend.
YOUNG STRANGER - trotted roughly rounding the final bend and in the home straight.
THE PRINCE - broke at the start losing considerable ground. Authorisation of 4th place being awarded was withheld until Stewards were satisfied the gelding had complied with the Breaking Horse Regulations in the early stages.
LAVROS TEXAS - Driver A Lethaby was warned for the manner she used her whip in the home straight.
SUNDEES SON - broke racing into the first bend. Broke again near the 2300 metres losing all chance.
DESTINY JONES - the required veterinary clearance was received. Hampered by a breaking runner racing into the first bend. Stewards requested a post-race veterinary examination of the mare which revealed no abnormalities.

Race 8	BMTT / DESIGN ART HANDICAP PACE Video
cgrnu9QZijo BLACK ART - shifted outwards abruptly and broke at the start checking outside runner. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Broke again after 100 metres losing all chance and was retired from the race.
SAYING GRACE - checked at the start losing ground. Lay inwards throughout the run home.
NIMAH FRANCO - tangled away.
DONEGAL CARNBOUY - held up leaving the final bend and in the early stages of the run home. Driver J Cox was warned for the manner he used his whip in the home straight.
SI SI SENOR - tangled away. Held up leaving the final bend and in the early stages of the home straight.
EVERY OPTION - held up in the early stages of the home straight.

When spoken to regarding the performance driver R Close advised he was disappointed with the effort and was of the opinion the mare may be feeling the effects of recent racing. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
THE BUS - tangled away.
CABLE BEACH - tangled away.
C A PENNY - weakened final bend.
LOVETODREAM - over-raced passing the 2400 metres becoming awkwardly placed to the inside of THE BUS for a short distance.

pPekFUv7Slo RUN RIOT - over-raced for a short distance racing into the first bend. Weakened leaving the final bend. A post race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be suffering from muscle tie up. Stewards will follow up the recovery of the horse in the coming days.
