KATE JACKSON - broke in the score up and was out of position at despatch. A warning was placed on the mare's mobile barrier manners.
THE C E O - raced erratically during the score up. Over raced in the middle stages.
R GEE THREE - broke at the start and settled toward the rear of the field. A warning was placed on the gelding's mobile barriers manners.
POPPY DRAYTON - slow to move away from the pre race circle in the score up and paced unevenly over a crossing during the score up and was well back at the start. Amateur Driver S Phillips explained that he was initially being cautious due to the fractious behaviour of KATE JACKSON which had drawn in front of him and then became unbalanced going over the crossing in the score up.
Amateur Driver C Wigg was reminded of her obligations to promptly respond to the Starter's instructions.

MY CASH - broke passing the 900 metres. A warning was placed on the mare's racing manners.
FLASH BOY - broke near the 600 metres losing its chance. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners record.
BROOKIES PRINCE - placed in restricted room briefly near the 350 metres.
CARLAW PARK - broke shortly after the start and soon settled. Weakened from the 900 metres. A post race veterinary examination revealed a suspected displaced soft palate. The connections are required to produce a veterinary certificate of fitness before this horse resumes.

GO PADDY - Driver A Pyers momentarily dropped his foot from the sulky foot rest when activating gear approaching the 150 metres
MILLVIEW CHLOE - broke early in the score up losing all chance. A warning was placed on the filly's mobile barrier manners.
ELMAGINATION - raced in restricted room rounding the first turn when to the inside of THE PEACEMAKER and SOLE DELIGHT which both lay in.
THE PEACEMAKER - lay in rounding the first turn. Lay in badly in the run home.
INFORTHEFIGHT - broke near the 1300 metres soon settling. Driver T Macfarlane advised due to the horse pacing roughly rounding the first bend he left the hopple shorteners in place for the race.
DELIA MAY - Driver J Abernethy advised the mare paced roughly over the last crossing.
SOLE DELIGHT - raced four and three wide early laying in when being improved forward placing runners to its inside in cramped quarters.

TAHLIA FRANCO - broke shortly after the start and tailed the field throughout. A warning was placed on the mare's mobile barrier manners record.
GOTTA GO JET AWAY - raced three wide early and middle stages.
BORN AGAIN DELIGHT - raced three wide early. Broke after becoming unbalanced racing over the final crossing near the 400 metres.
MANIHIKI PEARL - paced roughly over the final stages.
DELIGHTFUL ART - inconvenienced by a breaking runner shortly after the start.

WHITEHAVEN BEACH - broke 100 metres after the start galloping a distance. A warning was placed on the gelding's mobile barrier record. Checked by a galloping runner and broke approaching the 700 metres.
DOUBLEDELIGHTBRIGADE - broke shortly after the start losing approximately 50 metres. A final warning was placed on the filly's mobile barrier record. Authorisation of the 3rd placing was withheld until it was confirmed that the filly had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation.
HUNTER RED - broke near the winning post the first time but soon settled. Broke near the 700 metres checking a trailing runner. A warning was placed on the racing manners record.

SPARE CHANGE - broke near the 1200 metres when leading and settled at the rear. A warning was placed on the mare's racing manners record
ARDENT LUSTRE - Trainer S Telfer was issued with a Minor Infringement Notice and fined $100 for presenting the gelding without the notified blinds.
LAMBROS - raced three wide without cover throughout the race. Driver J MacKinnon advised that he did not activate the hopple shorteners due to the gelding pacing roughly on numerous occasions.
ELDOLAR - raced three wide with cover before being improved four wide inside the final 400 metres.
GIMMEGOLD - held up early in the run home.
WHALE RIDER - lay in and contacted marker pegs entering the first turn.
MISSINMEMATE - paced roughly travelling over the crossing at the 400 metres.

HEZALUCKYGRINNER - broke in the score up but was in position prior to despatch. The near side blind came partially adrift during the running.
RAZOR BROGDEN - raced without front shoes. Had some difficulty obtaining clear running over the early stages and in the run home.

BRYDON IDEAL - inconvenienced after the start by a breaking runner.
BETTOR SPIRITS - broke for a few strides and was slow away at the start.

MASS DESTRUCTION - became unbalanced racing over the crossing and broke near the 400 metres.

GREY STOKE - raced four wide from the 900 metres.
ROI DES GITANS - broke after the start losing its chance.

BABYFACENELSON - became unbalanced travelling over the crossing in the score up and broke interfering with the second line horses resulting in a false start. Driver S Butcher elected to maintain the barrier position at the restart. Out of position at the restart.
CHA CHA B - inclined to lay in round the final bend and became unbalanced travelling over a crossing approaching the 200 metres galloping for several strides and losing momentum.
SMILING LIAM - paced roughly after becoming unbalanced travelling over a crossing approaching the 200 metres.
BOSTON BAY - out of position at the restart and trailed the field. Paced roughly down the back straight and broke approaching the 1000 metres losing all chance. A warning was placed on the entire's racing manners record.

AMABEDE - briefly inconvenienced by a galloping runner entering into the first bend. Lay in contacting track markers rounding the bend into the home straight.
SUNNY PEGASUS - galloped briefly entering the first bend.
MACKERELLI - broke shortly after the start. Broke past the 150 metres.
PEGGY SPUR - checked by a galloping runner and broke racing into the first bend and sustained a punctured tyre galloping again approaching the 1400 metres and was pulled up with the tyre coming adrift off the wheel.
TOBRUK - a protest was lodged against the 5th placing of the gelding for galloping excessively over the initial stages of the race in breach of the Breaking Horses Regulation. The protest was not contested and the JCA disqualified TOBRUK.
TE KOUKA BREEZE - reared and stood on the mark as the barrier released losing considerable ground. Weakened out inside the final 500 metres.
THE REV - broke entering the first bend.
