| EMILY BLUNT - contacted the off side sulky wheel of ROYAL LINCOLN near the 650 metres. Junior Driver F Schumacher admitted a charge under 869(3)(b) in that he drove carelessly in this incident. After hearing submissions as to penalty the JCA imposed a fine of $250. | |

He further explained that the gelding had then struggled to maintain contact when the tempo increased down the back straight the final time before finishing on over the final stages into 6th place beaten 14.3 lengths. | |
