| WELL DEFINED - over raced from the 1000 metres. Held up through the home straight and broke with 150 metres to run. Driver D Dunn reported that the gelding had proved difficult to steer throughout by locking on a rein and he would be recommending gear changes prior to its next start. | |
| STILL EYRE - driver B Orange advised that his tyre deflated during the running. | |
| MY EYRE - broke after 200 metres. Over raced through the middle stages. | |
| NEVERNEVERLAND - was late scratched by order of Stewards after refusing to make its way to the start point despite the significant efforts of driver C DeFilippi and the Clerk of the Course. This gelding must now trial to the satisfaction of Stewards prior to resuming. | |
