BONNY REECE - broke near the 2250 metres losing ground.
NATHAN D - broke at the start and continued to do so for a distance. Authorisation of third placing being awarded was withheld until the Stewards were satisfied the gelding had complied with the Breaking Horse Regulations when breaking in the early stages. Trotted roughly for a distance passing the 1250 metres. Trotted roughly throughout the home straight and was unable to be placed under any discernible pressure.
GEE P S - broke near the 2300 metres. Trotted roughly over the final 500 metres.
NOTTINGHAM K TWO - trotted roughly for a short distance passing the 1700 metres. Lay inwards and struck several track markers rounding the final bend.
SPUR ME ON GENTLY - broke approaching the 2200 metres.
THUNDER BUDDY - broke near the 900 metres losing its chance.

MISS WAIKIWI - lay inwards when placed under pressure in the home straight.
CHINOOK WINDS - hung inwards entering the first bend becoming awkwardly positioned near CHILLI FRANCO, having to be corrected. Raced wide in the early stages before before being improved to the parked position near the 1600 metres. Held up in the early stages of the home straight and when being angled wider to obtain clear running near the 150 metres, momentarily inconvenienced BELLA SARA.
HIGH LINE - steadied near the 1500 metres when there was an easing of the pace in the one-out line.
EVANGELINE FRANCO - steadied near the 1500 metres when there was an easing of the pace in the one-out line. Raced three-wide without cover from the 750 metres. Held up rounding the final bend and through the early stages of the home straight.
BELLA SARA - inconvenienced near the 150 metres.
BETTORS ATOM - held up rounding the final bend and throughout the home straight going to the line without being fully tested by driver C Ferguson.
MOTU BELLE DU JOUR - steadied near the 1500 metres when there was an easing of the pace in the one-out line.
BASHFUL GIRL - hung outwards during the score up and was out of position at the start as a result. Over-raced for a distance passing the 900 metres.
VINTAGE ROSE - hung inwards during the score up and was out of position at the start as a result. Hung inwards near the 500 metres.
IECHYD DA - driver M Purvis was the authorised driver change replacing M Anderson. After questioning driver M Anderson it was established he had not allowed sufficient time to arrive on course prior to his first driving engagement. Mr Anderson subsequently admitted a breach of Rule 507(A)(1) in that he failed to arrive on course by the required time with the JCA imposing a fine of $150. Mr Anderson was examined by St John Paramedics and cleared to fulfil his engagements at the meeting. Raced wide in the early stages. Steadied near the 1500 metres when there was an easing of the pace in the one-out line.

EYRE'S A RAG DOLL - unable to maintain its position with the field through the middle stages, being distanced at the finish. When questioned regarding the performance trainer/driver G McEwan could offer no tangible explanation. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities. A warning was placed on the mare's racing performance record.
OUR BUDD - trotted roughly rounding the final bend.
SHE'S ALLTHE CRAZE - when questioned regarding the performance trainer/driver N Williamson advised he was disappointed however could offer no tangible explanation, advising that it would be his intention to freshen the mare prior to racing next.

LADY'S LASS - weakened from the 500 metres.
LILY DUCKET - trainer B Swain was issued a $25 colour fee.
VON RICHTHOFEN - weakened on the final bend.
ARDTOO - hung inwards shortly after the start. Raced wide in the early and middle stages.
BUSTER BROWN - the required veterinary clearance was received. Over-raced for a distance passing the 1700 metres. Commenced to weaken from the 800 metres before being retired from the event. When questioned regarding the performance junior driver M Hurrell could offer no tangible explanation. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an elevated heart and respiratory rate with a veterinary clearance required prior to the gelding resuming. Trainer R Wilson advised that he would no longer be persevering with the gelding as a racing proposition from his stable.
MY BLUE HEAVEN - raced wide in the early stages. Held up when trailing a weakening runner rounding the final bend.
STAY ABOARD - when questioned regarding the performance driver B Orange advised the filly had been disappointing under his urgings however in his opinion would derive benefit from the run.
VINCENZO DENARIO - broke near the 1000 metres when being restrained as there was an easing of the pace in the marker line resulting in DREAMINSOVER being inconvenienced.
DREAMINSOVER - inconvenienced by a breaking runner near the 1000 metres.

WAR HORSE - underwent and passed a pre-race veterinary examination.
AMERICAN MAGIC - over-raced in the middle stages when leading.
CAST A SHADOW - lay inwards near the 250 metres placing PAT'S LEGACY in restricted room momentarily.
ALWAYS THE BRAVE - paced roughly and shifted up the track entering the first bend, then raced wide for a distance prior to being restrained to obtain cover.
ANNIE FITZ - junior driver C Purvis lost her whip near the 150 metres.
DALI BREAD - weakened from the 400 metres.
PAT'S LEGACY - held up rounding the final bend when trailing a weakening runner. Raced in restricted room near the 250 metres.
Track conditions were downgraded to Easy following this event.

SWAP OVER - tangled away at the start.
LIKETHELOOK - broke at the start inconveniencing a trailing runner.
KILOWATT KID - inconvenienced by a breaking runner shortly after the start.
NAVAJO ART - broke at the starting losing all chance, being retired from the event.
MAGNATE MARA - lay inwards over the early stages.
A SMART EXCUSE - inconvenienced at the start. Obliged to improve its position wide rounding the final bend.
JABALI - broke after 100 metres. Held up in the early stages of the home straight until near the 150 metres.
Track conditions were downgraded to Slushy following this event.

EVER READY - held up rounding the final bend.
MACHITELLI - broke briefly passing the 1000 metres when awkwardly positioned to the back of BOOMER when there was an easing of the pace in the one-out line.
NOTA BENE DENARIO - hung outwards during the score-up being slightly out of position at the dispatch. Steadied approaching the 1000 metres when there was an easing of the pace in the one-out line.
MUCHO MACHO MAN - steadied approaching the 1000 metres when there was an easing of the pace in the one-out line. When questioned regarding the performance driver D Dunn could offer no tangible explanation other than the gelding may not have handled the step up in grade today.

ROCKING ROBYN - hung inwards and paced roughly in the early stages.
TUHERBS TWO - lay inwards rounding the final bend, becoming awkwardly positioned to the outside of another runner.
HURRICANE BANNER - held up rounding the final bend.
SIMPLY DREAMING - checked near the 1800 metres.
ARGYLE BEACH - steadied near the 1800 metres when being eased down the track by JAYEDGAR resulting in an easing of the pace in the one-out line.
IDEAL CONQUEST - steadied approaching the 1800 metres when there was an easing of the pace in the one-out line. Hung inwards for a distance passing the 500 metres placing driver B Barclay in some difficulty. Mr Barclay reported he did not activate the removable gear applied to the mare for this reason.
THE HONEY BADGER - steadied approaching the 1800 metres when there was an easing of the pace in the one-out line, shifting outwards resulting in SIMPLY DREAMING being checked. When questioned regarding this, driver N Williamson reported that as the pace of the race eased he endeavoured to restrain the gelding to avoid the back of IDEAL CONQUEST however the horse did not respond to his driving, with him then shifting outwards. Stewards noted the circumstances.

ANSETT FLIGHT - held up rounding the final bend.
FRANCO HUNTINGTON - driver A Suddaby admitted a breach of Rule 869(2) in that he used his whip excessively when exceeding the permitted number over the final 400 metres. After viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty the JCA imposed a fine of $200.
SENORITA MARGARITA - over-raced in the early and middle stages.
SOME EXCUSESOMEWHERE - raced wide in the early stages.
THE NIGHT HAWK - raced wide over the final 1200 metres. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities however stable connections advised it would be their intention to have blood tests conducted in the coming days which Stewards will follow up.
SIMPLE PLEASURE - commenced to weaken near the 400 metres, before being checked shortly after when racing between FRANCO HUNTINGTON (A Suddaby) and LEAH MAC (S McNally). Stewards questioned drivers A Suddaby and M Williamson with the matter being subsequently adjourned due to driver S McNally having left the course.

ROBS IDEAL - when questioned regarding the performance driver D Dunn advised he was not overly disappointed with the effort of the gelding given it had not started since October and in his opinion would derive benefit from the outing.
GROOMSMAN - weakened from the 400 metres.
SIX DIAMONDS - held up rounding the final bend prior to being angled inwards to obtain clear running near the 300 metres.
THE BIG BOSS - tangled away. When questioned regarding the performance driver S McNally could offer no tangible explanation however advised in his opinion the gelding would derive benefit from the outing.
 
Race 11DALLARD BUILDING LTD MOBILE PACEVideo  Video 
SHINDAL - weakened from the 500 metres.
GALLEONS PLEASURE - raced wide in the early stages. Hung inwards when weakening passing the 200 metres hampering the trailing JAMES BUTT.
HUNTERTON - broke during the latter stages of the score up losing considerable ground. A warning was placed against the mobile barrier record of the gelding.
BETTOR OPTION - raced wide in the early stages until reaching the parked position near the 1400 metres.
BORN TO RUN - junior driver M Purvis reported he did not activate the removable deafeners applied on the gelding due to having the field covered.
JAMES BUTT - hampered near the 200 metres. When questioned regarding the performance trainer/driver K Larsen advised the gelding had felt flat during the running. A post-race veterinary examination revealed mild dehydration.
PLEASE SHUDDUP - obliged to improve wide from the 600 metres.
