Race 1 - SWEET LOU $4K SPECIAL CONTINUES FILLIES & MARES MOBILE PACE
Trainer M Saunders advised Stewards on 30 November that blood tests taken from BETSTARS BLUE JEAN following its disappointing performance at Ascot Park on 24 November showed that the filly was mildly tied up. Mr Saunders added that in his opinion she did not back up from her previous run and will now have a brief freshen up for Xmas racing.
Race 8 - WOODLANDS STUD 'CELEBRATING 25 YEARS' PACE
Trainer C Faithful advised Stewards on 30 November that PARTICULAR has recovered well following its performance at Ascot Park on 24 November and will have a brief freshen up before continuing with its current campaign.

VON RICHTHOFEN - paced roughly and lost ground near the 800 metres.
KANSAS CITY JIM - paced roughly during the latter stages of the score up and was slightly out of position. Broke after 100 metres with a warning being placed on the gelding's racing manners. Struck several track markers near the 750 metres. Driver A Suddaby was issued with a warning.
EASTON KARERE - raced keenly through the middle stages.
KAKA POINT CHRIS - struggled to maintain its position with the field from the 500 metres.

SHONA MARY - broke at the start.
SAGE TROUBLE - driver M Heenan was cautioned regarding the use of his whip outside the confines of his sulky.
KING CASSIDY - trotted roughly over the concluding stages and was unable to be driven out with any discernible vigour.
BONO HEST - commenced to weaken passing the 500 metres.
COCKTAIL WAITER - broke negotiating the first bend. Held up for a distance passing the 400 metres when trailing a weakening runner.
HEAVENLY LOVE - broke nearing the 1500 metres and failed to settle for a considerable distance.
MISSIE CASTLETON - broke at the start. A warning was placed on the mare's barrier record. Had difficulty obtaining clear running in the early and middle stages of the home straight.
OVERCAST - raced in restricted room over the concluding stages and had to be steadied.

NO MORE CHANGE - over-raced for a distance passing the 1200 metres when being restrained to take up a trailing position.
BETTOR B READY - sustained a punctured sulky tyre near the 400 metres.
WAR HORSE - driver T Quate (with the assistance of M Williamson) admitted a breach of Rule 869(3)(b) in that he drove carelessly near the 400 metres when permitting the gelding to contact the wheel of BETTOR B READY (J Campbell) which punctured in consequence. After hearing submissions on penalty the JCA imposed a fine of $300.
BUSHIDO - made the final bend awkwardly.
LORRETTA FRANCO - raced wide in the early stages prior to being improved forward to a leading position near the 1600 metres.

JAKIRA - when questioned regarding the mare's performance Driver D Dunn reported he was slightly disappointed with mare's effort however could offer no tangible explanation. Stewards will follow up its recovery with trainer C Dalgety in the coming days.
NORTHVIEW BETTA - held up rounding the final bend until near the 200 metres.
JETENARA - trainer K Barclay was cautioned for failing to notify the person in charge of the gelding in her absence.
MYBOYLOLLIEPOP - trainer D Simpson was issued a Minor Infringement Notice and fined $50 when declaring notifiable gear after the prescribed time. Inconvenienced by a breaking runner near the 900 metres.
MICKEY JAY - raced wide from the 1500 metres. Crowded and broke when contacting the sulky wheel of ASK ME ART (B Orange) near the 900 metres. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a superficial laceration to its right front foot consistent with being galloped on, requiring treatment.
FIRST SON - over-raced for a distance passing the 1700 metres when being restrained to take cover.
HIGHVIEW ILLUSION - raced wide in the early stages until being improved forward to a leading position near the 1600 metres.
ALEXY - weakened from the 400 metres.
ASK ME ART - contacted MICKEY JAY (B Williamson) nearing the 900 metres when improving to its outside. Driver B Orange defended a breach of Rule 869(3)(b) alleging he drove carelessly at this stage of the race by failing to allow sufficient room to his inside resulting in MICKEY JAY being checked. After viewing video coverage and hearing evidence from Stewards, B Orange and B Williamson, the JCA found the charge proved and imposed a fine of $375.
IT'S ALL OVER NOW - held up in the early stages of the home straight.
RAPHOE - inconvenienced by a breaking runner near the 900 metres.

A false start was declared after IDLE BOYS breached the front line barrier strand.
IMRAN KHAN - trotted roughly rounding the final bend. Shifted outwards passing the 200 metres and had to be straightened.
FRENCH DESIRE - broke entering the first bend.
PRINCE GEORGE - trainer/driver K Larsen reported that he carried a punctured sulky tyre over the final 250 metres which he believed to be a result of the gelding striking the sulky wheels.
LUNDQVIST - broke near the 1850 metres. Broke passing the 700 metres losing considerable ground.
IDLE BOYS - breached the barrier strand resulting in a false start being declared. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier manners. Inconvenienced on the first bend by breaking runner.
HIGHLAND STAR - Stewards questioned driver R McIlwrick regarding his apparent lack of vigour throughout the home straight. Mr McIlwrick explained that he had been held up for clear running in the early stages of the home straight and when shifting outwards passing the 100 metres, he had been mindful to keep the gelding balanced as it had a tendency to break from its gait when placed under pressure in the past. Mr McIlwrick further advised that the removable deafeners failed to activate despite his attempt. After hearing from Mr McIlwrick and re-viewing the racing history of the gelding, Stewards took the matter no further.

MASS INVASION - swung sideways as the start was effected and was slow away.
I'VE GOT THIS - raced keenly through the middle stages when leading. Broke near the 300 metres.
PEGASUS DREAM - held up briefly near the 250 metres.

TUHERBS TWO - hung inwards rounding the final bend striking several track markers. Held up for a distance passing the 200 metres when trailing a tiring runner.
MISS ETHEL SUNSHINE - raced wide in the early stages.
SAGWITCH - over-raced during the score up getting its head over the mobile barrier arm prior to dispatch. Raced wide in the early stages until near the 1500 metres. Weakened rounding the final bend.
COMPLIANT - held up rounding the final bend and through the early stages of the home straight with Driver B Orange reporting that due to this he elected not to activate the removable gear applied to the gelding.
CLIFTON TACTIC - hung inwards entering the bend near the 500 metres and had to be steadied when awkwardly positioned to the outside of SIMPLY DREAMING. Forced to raced four wide from the 400 metres.
HIT THE SKY - hung outwards and broke nearing the 1700 metres when placed in restricted room to the inside of MACHIE MACH.
MACHIE MACH - driver P Luzumova was cautioned for the manner in which she drove near the 1700 metres when placing an inside runner in restricted room.
IGOTTASTAR - raced keenly through the middle stages.

DYING TO SEE YOU - over-raced in the parked position through the middle stages.
FOR REGAL - weakened from the 500 metres.
COOLHAND EASTON - inclined to lay inwards throughout the running. Raced ungenerously and struck track markers rounding the final bend.
WOODLEA RAGNAR - raced wide rounding the first bend. Hung inwards through the early and middle stages, then was inclined to over-race through the middle stages when leading.
SANTANNA LEGEND - out of position at dispatch. Driver C Ferguson was cautioned to maintain his barrier position until dispatch in future.
