Argue reported that he had been unable to activate the sliding blinds due to the release cord breaking when the gelding reared prior to the start. | |

Junior Driver N Delany, assisted by Senior Driver S. Argue, was cautioned for the manner in which he drove leaving the back straight the final time when WILLEDU contacted a number of marker pegs. | |

A warning was placed on this gelding's racing manners. Junior Driver J. MacKinnon was cautioned for allowing his gelding to shift down into the passing lane early in the run home. | |

| DANCE TIME - failed to follow the mobile in the initial stages of the score up and trailed the field throughout. It was subsequently established that the gelding had got its rump under a sulky shaft when being assisted by an attendant to turn to follow the mobile and that the situation had further been compounded when the gaiting strap on the sulky had become caught on the crupper. Acting under Rule 213(1)(j) DANCE TIME was declared a non-runner on the grounds that the gelding was denied a fair start. Junior Driver J. MacKinnon was advised that he would be expected to make a greater effort to indicate to the Starter that he had gear issues given similar circumstances in the future. | |
