Race 1MANAWATU HARNESS ACTION AGAIN DEC 12TH & 14TH MOBILE PACEVideo  Video 
MARRERA - improved three wide middle stages. When questioned regarding an incident near the 1600 metres where LINCOLN SKY was forced to race wider on the track Driver J Abernethy explained that he had initially attempted to improve out three wide however LINCOLN SKY was improving to his outside so he attempted to shift back down into the one out running line however had been unable to do so due to COTTONWOOD improving to his inside. After considering the matter no further action was deemed necessary.
BRUCELLE - inconvenienced and raced roughly entering the first turn.
BEJEWELLED - inconvenienced entering first turn. Held up throughout the run home.
COTTONWOOD - lay in entering the first turn and became awkwardly positioned to the inside of MARRERA which was shifting in and raced roughly for several strides.
LINCOLN SKY - inconvenienced briefly near the 1600 metres when forced to race wider on the track before improving three wide middle stages. Weakened over the final stages.

MONARO MIA - slow away. Inclined to lay in throughout the race.
PEEP O DAY - hung and trotted roughly rounding the bend passing the 800 metres losing contact with the field finishing well back. A post race veterinary examination revealed a slow recovery. Trainer M Hickey advised that the gelding would not be persevered with.
T A'S CRACKER - weakened rounding the final bend.
MASTER MERLIN - broke inside the 1800 metres losing all chance.
XTRA TIME - broke racing into the first bend. Broke again approaching the 300 metres.

EMIRA - lay out throughout the run home shifting up the track.
BURNING REIGN - raced three wide middle stages. Weakened rounding the final bend. A post race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormality.
KATE JACKSON - Junior Driver T Lethaby was cautioned in regard to being out of position at the candy pole in the score-up. Held up rounding the final bend.
BORN AGAIN DELIGHT - broke at the start. Improved three wide middle stages to race outside the leader. Broke free of interference entering the back straight the final time losing all chance. A warning was placed on the mare's mobile and racing manners record.
COLLECTION - pulled hard during the running contacting the sulky of PURE DESIRE near the 700 metres and broke losing its chance. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners record.
DASHING DANE - raced three wide middle stages.
PURE DESIRE - sulky contacted near the 700 metres.

TOPPATHEROCK - checked early in the score-up but recovered to take its position at the start. Weakened rounding the final turn.
KUNDANA GOLD - broke early in the score-up checking TOPPATHEROCK. A warning was placed on the filly's mobile barrier manners record. Weakened over the latter stages finishing well back.
DELIGHTFUL KAS - held up rounding final bend.
ONE LINER - paced roughly shortly after the start, rounding the first bend and during the running when appearing to react to shadows cast on the track.
MILLVIEW CHLOE - raced three wide from inside the final 1000 metres.
BUGALUGS - over-raced middle stages. Held up rounding the final bend by a tiring runner and had difficulty obtaining clear racing room over the early stages of the run home.
ONHIGHTOGETHER - raced three wide from inside the final 1000 metres.
DELIA MAY - held up rounding final bend.

JACK BATES - was held up rounding the final bend.
OUR WICKLOW - inclined to lay out during the score-up.
BOBBY M - caught three wide early.
R GEE BEE - trapped five deep on the marker line, worked clear rounding the home bend and was six wide entering the straight for the run home before finishing on into fifth place beaten 7.4 lengths.
ITSOKBEINGBETTER - held up rounding the final turn and in the early stages of the run home.

The start was delayed at the first attempt when front mark runners went through the barrier.
ONE NIGHT OUT - A Minor Infringement Notice was issued and $100.00 fine imposed on Trainer B Weaver for presenting the gelding without the notified removable deafeners.
RARANGI OPAL - broke racing round the first bend losing ground. Broke again approaching the 500 metres.
SPEEDY EARL - weakened on the home bend.
LORD ROYDON - broke on three occasions losing ground. A warning was placed on its racing manners record.
 
Race 7GATTSCHE CONSTRUCTION MOBILE PACEVideo  Video 
ARCANO - inconvenienced on the home bend by a weakening runner.
BETTOR BABE - over-raced middle stages when being restrained to hand up the lead to DREAM TO REALITY near the 1000 metres. Weakened on the home bend inconveniencing a trailing runner. A post race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormality other than a delayed recovery.
IVANA FLYBYE - commenced to over-race passing the 1000 metres before being taken out to race without cover near the 900 metres. Shifted down on reaching the passing lane and raced over several marker pegs. Lay in under pressure late in the run home and contacted two further marker pegs. When questioned Driver D Butcher explained that the gelding had hung on the bends and in particular when under pressure on the final turn.
CAPTAIN KIRK - broke passing the 1100 metres losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners record.
