ARTHUR LOWE - hampered after 200 metres. Had to be steadied near the 1650 metres when improving wider to shift around BLACK ART which had shifted outwards to a three wide position. Locked wheels with BLACK ART at this time and had to be restrained. | |

HIGHLAND REIGN - hung outwards in the score up and in the early stages. Disappointed for clear racing room near the 100 metres having to be restrained. GYPSY'S CHOICE - held up throughout the run home. Had to be steadied approaching the 100 metres when in restricted room. Driver S Whatuira was spoken to advisedly in regard to allowing her mare to improve into an insufficient run. Miss Whatuira reported that one hopple shortener had failed to activate after becoming entangled. | |
