The connections of GOTTA TICKET advised Stewards on 17 January that blood tests taken revealed that the gelding was suffering from ulcers and a low iron count. This is now being treated and GOTTA TICKET is having a brief spell.

Trainer S Smolenski advised that in his opinion the gelding had failed to back up from its first day race and that he would now be sending EARTHQUAKE for a spell.
