It was subsequently established that the mobile arm had been further up the track than normal so Stewards extended leniency and took no action against the gelding's barrier manners. In addition to this Stewards were satisfied that this runner's chances had not be materially prejudiced in this incident. Starter D Blackmore was spoken to in relation to the positioning of the mobile during the score up.
