Trainer A Hoffman advised Stewards on 7 September that YGRITTE has now been retired from racing.

Trainer A Hoffman advised Stewards on 7 September that TO RI ALBY had a veterinary check following racing at Forbury Park last Sunday which revealed hock and knee soreness with the gelding being treated accordingly.

BIG SMOKE - when spoken to regarding the performance driver N Williamson reported that he had been obliged to work hard early to obtain the lead with the effort taking its toll on the gelding over the concluding stages.
MONIAIVE - raced wide without cover in the early stages.
DELIGHT N GOLD - held up in the early stages of the run home.
ALLIE - broke briefly in the early stages of the score up.
SOME EXCUSESOMEWHERE - paced roughly in the score up.
JACKS N JAZZ - hung inwards in the score up.

EVANGELINE FRANCO - held up on the final bend.
GROUND RULES - weakened from the 400 metres. When spoken to regarding the performance driver B Orange could offer no tangible explanation.
IECHYD DA - driver N Williamson reported he had received a punctured sulky tyre near the 400 metres.
IDEAL DENARIO - raced wide without cover in the early stages before obtaining the parked position near the 1200 metres.
DAINTY LOCH - had to steady passing the 900 metres after an easing of the pace.
ALLONBLACK - over raced in the early and middle stages. Raced fiercely near the 400 metres causing driver D Dunn considerable difficulty resulting in the mare striking the sulky wheel of IECHYD DA.
JANUARY JONES - broke in the score up and failed to settle losing all chance. A warning was placed on the mobile barrier record of this mare.
ROBYN KIM - held up leaving the final bend.

PHOEBE FLYER - tangled away. Struck a pylon near the 100 metres. Driver K Franks was warned to make a greater effort to ensure contact is not made with track markers.
SHE'S ALLTHE CRAZE - the required veterinary clearance was received. Trainer/driver N Williamson advised Stewards the mare would be driven with a sit circumstances permitting.
BELMONT INVASION - trotted roughly after 150 metres. Hung inwards and broke near the 400 metres checking the trailing SMOKEY MAC which broke.
PEGASUS SUNRISE - broke at the start losing its chance. Placed on the Unruly for future standing starts at the request of trainer K Barclay.
SHEEZAMONARCHY - placed in restricted room late in the run home. Junior driver M Purvis reported that one removable deafener had not activated on the mare.
OUR BUDD - weakened from the 600 metres.
KO WRECTED - broke at the start.
DANIELLE AMORE - broke at the start losing considerable ground.
LAURA BUSH - Held up for clear racing room in the early stages of the home straight. Hung inwards over the concluding stages when attempting a run to the inside of SCARLETT LANE placing inside runner in restricted room. Driver B Orange was advised to exercise care when shifting ground. Cleared from the Unruly for future standing starts.
AMBRO AMEIGO - hampered on the final bend. Cast a bell boot near the 200 metres and near the 50 metres.
SMOKEY MAC - checked and broke on the final bend.
OVERCAST - broke near the 200 metres.

KAGEE VC - placed in restricted room on the final bend and struck several pylons.
MISTY MEMORY - raced wide in the early stages.
STAR RULER - paced roughly entering the first bend. Hung inwards over the concluding stages and had to be corrected by driver A Suddaby.
PAY ME THE CHANGE - paced roughly in the score up and was back off the gate at the dispatch, then continued to pace roughly through the early stages. Hung inwards and paced roughly rounding the first bend. Raced wide until reaching the parked position near the 1800 metres. Hung inwards on the final bend when weakening.
MATAI WILL - Held up in the early stages of the run home.
THE MAROON MARAUDER - Held up on the final bend and in the early stages of the run home.
BENIO BEN - hung inwards throughout the home straight. Driver M Williamson reported he did not activate the removable deafeners on the gelding.

The start was delayed 2 minutes at the request of TAB Control.
PYRAMID MAGIC - broke near the 400 metres.

NOMATTERMEE - held up for clear racing room until late in the run home.
MILLWOOD DAISY - raced keenly throughout.
LINDALI - sustained a punctured sulky tyre near the 400 metres. Hung inwards in the early stages of the home straight.
MANDOLIN - hung outwards in the score up and was out of position at the start. Broke racing into the first bend losing its chance. A warning was placed on the racing manners record of the mare. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a laceration to a front leg consistent with the mare over reaching during the running which was treated by the Veterinary surgeon.
DON'T PASS I'M FAST - paced roughly and lost ground passing the 400 metres after striking the sulky wheel of LINDALI causing the tyre to puncture. Stewards lodged a Protest against 3rd placing being awarded to DON'T PASS I'M FAST alleging interference to LINDALI (5th place) near the 400 metres. After viewing replays and hearing evidence from all parties the JCA dismissed the Protest. Driver A Suddaby subsequently admitted a breach of Careless Driving pursuant to Rule 869(3)(b) with the JCA imposing a fine of $300.
LORRETTA FRANCO - held up until late in the run home.

RUN BOY RUN - denied clear racing room until late in the run home.
TUHERBS TWO - broke at the start losing ground. Driver M Parker reported she was unable to activate the removable deafeners due to the cord breaking.
PANTASTIC - raced keenly throughout. Held up for clear racing room until late in the run home.
TAS MAN BROMAC - tangled away. Driver N Williamson defended a charge pursuant to Rule 869(2)(a) alleging that he used his whip in an excessive manner inside the final 400 metres. After viewing the replays and hearing evidence from all parties the JCA found the charge proved and imposed a suspension of Mr Williamson's horseman's licence from the conclusion of racing on the 7 September 2017 up to and including the 28 September 2017 (4 days).

The start was delayed due to the sulky on CANARDLY REMEMBER requiring attention.
HURRICANE BANNER - held up on the final bend and throughout the run home.
SHARDS HALO - driver D Dunn reported he did not activate the sliding blinds or removable deafeners on the mare.
TUBBY JIM - obliged to race wide and without cover from the 1000 metres. Weakened on the final bend.
FRANCO HUNTINGTON - hung inwards and paced roughly racing into the first bend. Weakened on the final bend.
TANGLED UP IN BLUE - driver M Anderson reported he was unable to activate the sliding blinds on the gelding due to the cord becoming entangled.
NO MORE CHANGE - held up on the final bend.
VAN EVA - held up on the final bend.
FRANCO NIXON - driver R Swain reported a sulky tyre had deflated during the running.

EL CAPITAN - held up for clear racing room leaving the final bend.
BALIUS - held up for the majority of the run home with driver M Parker reporting she was not afforded the opportunity to activate the removable deafeners on the gelding.
ROCKING ROBYN - raced wide without cover in the early stages.
JETENARA - Trainer K Barclay was issued a Minor Infringement Notice and fined $100 after she presented the gelding to race without the notified blinds.
WESTERN DELIGHT - when spoken to regarding the performance driver D Dunn reported the gelding had worked hard early which had taken its toll over the concluding stages.
GANGNAM STYLE - held up throughout the home straight.
PAY ME JIMMY - Stewards questioned driver S Walkinshaw regarding the manner he drove in the early stages of the home straight. After considering his explanation, Stewards adjourned the matter for further consideration.
ARTHUR LOWE - held up throughout the home straight. Observed to have blood in its mouth on return to the birdcage with a post-race veterinary examination revealing the gelding to have a minor laceration to the tongue.
