SIR HENRY CASTLETON - broke shortly after the start losing all chance.
BILLY AT SALSA - broke near the 200 metres losing its chance.
OUR ROSA - Junior Driver L Whittaker reported that the activation cord on the deafeners had became entangled.
BLOOD AND WHISKY - broke entering the first turn losing all chance.
PRECIOUS MOMENT - broke at the start losing considerable ground. Broke near the 500 metres when at the rear. A veterinary examination was carried out at the request of the connections and it was found to have suffered muscle strain. A veterinary certificate of fitness is required prior to this horse resuming.
IZINTHEZONE - broke passing the 300 metres losing ground before settling. Authorisation of the 5th placing was withheld until it was confirmed that this mare had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation.

WAYTOGO BRUNO - broke at the start and settled towards the rear. A warning was placed on the gelding's mobile barrier manners. Improved three wide from the 500 metres and was forced four wide near the 300 metres and only battled over the final stages to finish in 4th place beaten 6 lengths.
LINC'S BUTE - raced three wide early before improving to lead approaching the 1700 metres.

VALMARA - paced roughly shortly after the start inconveniencing a trailing runner. Paced roughly approaching the 900 meres when shifted wider on the track by an improving runner, inconveniencing trailing horses. Weakened inside the final 600 metres.
ITSOKBEINGBETTER - caught three wide early and failed to race competitively thereafter. A post race veterinary examination revealed a slow recovery rate and a veterinary certificate of fitness is required before the gelding resumes.
R GEE BEE - over raced early and middle stages.
TRINITY BROMAC - tightened and paced roughly approaching the 400 metres.
PAY ME OVERS - inconvenienced near the 900 metres
LINCOLNS DELIGHT - checked and inconvenienced shortly after the start.
TACT OLLIE - lay in approaching the 400 metres inconveniencing a runner to its inside.
CLASSY CHAPEL - inconvenienced and paced roughly near the 900 metres

FLASH BOY - held up rounding the final turn. Junior Driver J MacKinnon reported that he was unable to activate the removable deafeners as the activation cord became entangled.
SOMEWHEREINBROOKLYN - inconvenienced early in the score up and was marginally out of position at the start. Broke for a stride passing the 1350 metres.
JEMA JET - four lengths out of position at the start. Failed to race competitively over the concluding stages. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Driver G Noakes admitted a charge under Rule 857(7)(g) that he failed to have the mare in position at the start in behind the mobile gate and the JCA imposed a fine of $200.00.
RANGI RANGDU - inconvenienced early in the score up and was marginally out of position of the start.

AMERICAN FLYBYE - broke for a stride at the start and was slow away.

ATTITUDE PLUS - caught three wide for the first 600 metres.

SHAY SCOTT - late scratched at 7.45pm by order of the Stewards under Rule 213(1)(h). Trainer N Chilcott admitted a charge under Rule 1002(1)(b) in that she failed to comply with Programming Conditions Clause 15(a)(i)&(b) by failing to ensure SHAY SCOTT was available with an attendant in the official stabling complex with at least 90minutes prior to the advertised starting time and/or that she removed SHAY SCOTT from the course prior to its engagement in this event. After hearing submissions on penalty the JCA imposed a fine of $400.00.
DANKE - the gelding was a dual acceptor in race 1 and after a veterinary examination was cleared fit to start in this race. Held up rounding the final bend.
THE LAST GAMBLE - raced three wide early and middle before being taken up the track approaching the 900 metres after commencing to give ground so as to clear trailing runners.
LITTLE BRO - held up rounding the final bend.
NOVEMBER GUY - raced four wide early and then three wide middle stages with cover.
