Race 6 - ASURE ACCOMMODATION GROUP MOBILE PACE
Trainer J Howe has advised Stewards that following its disappointing performance at Addington last Sunday TOLL GATE was scoped and had blood tests taken with these showing no abnormalities. Mr Howe added that the gelding would now have a brief freshen-up and return to trials or workouts before resuming.

Trainer S Smolenski has informed Stewards that following its disappointing performance at Addington last Sunday SAILS has been sent for a 6 week spell.

Race 1EQUINE VETERINARY SERVICES TROTVideo  Video 
FIERY COMET - trotted roughly through the middle stages. Driver S Smolenski dropped his foot from the sulky rest when activating gear in the home straight. Stewards questioned driver S Smolenski regarding the limited urgings shown in the home straight. Mr Smolenski explained that the gelding had been hanging outwards and trotting roughly and he was mindful of the horse breaking in the past at trials when placed under pressure in the home straight. Mr Smolenski further advised he would be changing the gelding's bit in an attempt to cure its hanging tendencies. Mr Smolenski's comments were noted.
FAMILY NIGHT - broke after 150 metres. Broke again with 1000 metres to run.
IDEAL INVASION - broke at the start losing all chance.
CASTLETON TUI - stood on the mark losing ground at the start. A warning was placed on the mare's barrier record. Over-raced and hung throughout. Broke when hanging with 650 metres to run. Trainer J Patterson advised the mare would be sent for a short spell.
NATHAN D - Stewards investigated a perceived breach of the Push Out Rule near the 1800 metres when JERRY GARCIA was forced to race wider on the track. After viewing films it was established that NATHAN D had already commenced its outwards movement prior to JERRY GARCIA reaching its sulky wheel with no further action deemed necessary. Trotted roughly in the home straight.
BREENYS CULLEN - hung inwards over the concluding stages.
JERRY GARCIA - raced wider on the track passing the 1800 metres.

PEGASUS KOMMANDER - Co-trainers C & J Kennett were cautioned for failing to present their runner on course by the prescribed time.
ALEXY - underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was cleared to start. Held up in the early and middle stages of the home straight.
BETTOR BACKIM - hung inwards racing into the first bend checking ALL NUTS N BOLTS which broke. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners. Driver P Cook was shown the films and notwithstanding the racing manners of BETTOR BACKIM, was cautioned to exercise care when shifting ground. Held up late in the run home.
REDMARO - held up for clear racing room in the early and middle stages of the home straight.
AS KIWI AS - raced wide through the early and middle stages.
CELEBRITY EASTON - driver D Reardon dropped his foot from the sulky rest briefly in the run home.
ALL NUTS N BOLTS - broke racing into the first bend after being placed in restricted room by BETTOR BACKIM which had hung inwards.

MIKEY MAGUIRE - displayed poor barrier manners and broke briefly at the start. A warning was placed on the gelding's standing start record.
JUNGLE GEM - paced roughly racing into the first bend.
J NINE - broke at the start. A warning was placed on the entire's standing start record. Hung inwards in the home straight.
PRINCESS HOLLY - improved wide without cover from the 1000 metres.
CHEROKEE RED - displayed poor barrier manners and then broke at the start. A warning was placed on the gelding's standing start record. Broke with 250 metres to run. The connections advised the gelding will be retired from their stable.

ARTICULIGHT - locked wheels with SHE'S EXTREME passing the 1000 metres after this mare had hung inwards.
MAN OF STEEL - held up early stages of the run home.
REALLY DESIRABLE - reared and fell in the parade ring prior to the event with the sulky having to be replaced. Examined by the on-course Veterinarian and cleared to start. Inconvenienced and held up for a short distance with 900 metres to run. Weakened final bend. The connections advised the mare will be retired from their stable.
SHE'S EXTREME - hung inwards passing the 1000 metres and locked wheels with ARTICULIGHT resulting in both runners losing ground. A warning was placed on the mare's racing manners. Commenced to weaken from the 600 metres.
TIME TRAVELLER - raced wide in the early stages before progressing to the lead with 1800 metres to run. Weakened over the concluding stages. When questioned regarding the performance, driver D Dunn advised that in his opinion the gelding had not handled the rise in class of today's race.
LIKE A PRAYER - held up for clear racing room throughout the home straight. Driver G O'Reilly advised he did not activate the removable deafeners.
OPAWA MACH - held up for clear racing room throughout the home straight. Driver K Cameron advised he did not activate the removable deafeners.

This race was delayed due to the barrier strand failing to activate.
BELLA JONES - held up throughout the home straight.
BORN AGAIN DELIGHT - displayed poor barrier manners prior to the start before rearing and falling to the track. Underwent a Veterinary examination and was cleared to start. Sent to the unruly position where it will remain for future standing starts.
MIDFREW TARPEDIEM - locked wheels briefly with CLARENDON'S LAST near the 400 metres when this runner hung inwards. Held up late in the run home.
SANDS OF LOVE - broke at the start.
INCHBONNIE LAD - broke at the start.
CLARENDON'S LAST - fractious prior to the start. Raced wide without cover throughout. Locked wheels briefly with MIDFREW TARPEDIEM near the 400 metres when hanging inwards and tiring.
NO MORE CHANGE - held up throughout the run home.
ROCKNROLL NEVIN - paced roughly racing into the first bend.
SWEET MARYLOU - broke at the start. Broke again near the 1100 metres losing all chance.
DEN'S LEGACY - held up early stages of the run home.

YUKON CLOUD - over-raced early stages and raced wide round the first bend. Hung inwards in the home straight.
PALEFACE SIOUX - broke at the start with a warning placed on the mare's mobile barrier record.
RAFA NOVAK - held up on the home turn.
CULLENS JOY - hung inwards when improving with 1100 metres to run. The filly received veterinary treatment for a laceration to the right fore leg following the race.

QUITE IDEAL - broke at the start.
GO DAVEY - broke briefly shortly after the start.
JOEY MAGUIRE - held up over the concluding stages.
THE VALIANT - tangled away.
HYPERVELOCITY - tangled away. Held up early stages of the home straight.
DONEGAL CARRICKFIN - over-raced through the middle stages.

GOODTIME GAMBLE - broke racing into the first bend. Broke again near the 300 metres.
SHEZA TRENDY MONARCH - broke racing into the first bend.
SHE'S ALLTHE CRAZE - weakened final bend with driver N Williamson advising he did not activate the removable deafeners in consequence. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a slow recovery with the on course Veterinarian recommending blood tests and an ECG be taken. Stewards will follow up the recovery of the mare with trainer N Williamson in the coming days. A veterinary clearance is required before the mare's resumption.
MONARCHY INVASION - hampered racing into the first bend.
JEAN SEBASTIEN - broke near the 300 metres.
MR FAHRENHEIT - broke near the 250 metres.
MAJESTIC MOMENT - broke at the start. Over-raced through the middle stages. Broke with 1100 metres to run.
ONE OVER DA STARS - broke near the 200 metres.
TIJUANA TAXI - broke in the early stages losing its chance.

HOT OFF THE PRESS - hung inwards in the home straight.
DASHOVER - raced wide without cover through the middle stages and weakened over the concluding stages. Trainer/Driver K Cox advised Stewards that the gelding will not be persevered with as a racing proposition from her stable.
MARAVU EXCUSE - paced roughly in the score up and was back a length at the start.
MASTER MOONLITE - paced roughly when being restrained round the first bend.
THEBOYSLIGHTUP - held up in the home straight.
SHARNAE - paced roughly racing into the first bend.
