PARK AVENUE - broke shortly after the start losing considerable ground before breaking again passing the 1400 metres losing all chance.
ROYAL LINCOLN - paced roughly and then broke near the 400 metres losing ground before settling.

STOW - broke rounding the first turn.
LUCK OF THE MOMENT - broke at the start and galloped for a considerable distance before trailing the field.
SECRETOFTHESEA SMILE - broke at the start losing ground.
PLAYFUL PRIDE - paced off the mark before being restrained and galloped briefly. Broke on the first turn losing ground.
THE REV - inconvenienced briefly by breaking runner rounding the first turn. Broke passing the 400 metres losing all chance.

RICHARD LE FORT - broke in the initial stages of the score up and was still back several lengths from position at dispatch. A warning was placed on this gelding's mobile barrier manners.
JOHNNY WHITE - broke in the initial stages of the score up before being briefly inconvenienced by the galloping RICHARD LE FORT and was well back from position at dispatch. Authorisation of placings was withheld at the request of Trainer R. Dunn to enable the replays of the score up and start to be viewed to ascertain whether the gelding had been denied a fair start. After hearing submissions from Mr Dunn and Junior Driver J. MacKinnon Stewards were not sufficiently satisfied that the inconvenience received in the middle stages of the score up materially prejudiced the gelding's chances and it was declared a runner with placings being duly authorised. A warning was placed on the gelding's mobile barrier manners. Paced roughly in the run home.
MAKERS MARK - held up late in the run home.
ULTIMATE ANGEL - held up throughout the run home when disappointed for a run to the inside of RICHARD LE FORT in the passing lane.
R GEE BEE - broke in the initial stages of the score up and was well back from position at dispatch. A warning was placed on the colt's mobile barrier manners. Hung in and broke near the 1400 metres when attempting to improve three wide, losing ground. A final warning was placed on the colt's racing manners.

I'M JUST AWESOME - broke approaching the first turn and settled at the rear.
MASS DESTRUCTION - broke approaching the first turn losing all chance.
MY SKY - broke near the 400 metres losing its chance.
DANKE - inconvenienced by breaking runner on the final turn.
MAJESTIC ALI - broke on the first turn losing considerable ground.
GRENADO - back from position at dispatch. An investigation was held into this incident and after hearing evidence from Drivers D. Ferguson (GRENADO), M. McKendry (MASS DESTRUCTION), G. Noakes (IZINTHEZONE) and Starter F. Phelan, blame could not be solely attributed to any individual driver and no further action was taken other than to remind all parties of their obligations in the future. In considering this matter Stewards were satisfied that GRENADO had not been denied a fair start as its chances had not been materially prejudiced.

POPPY DRAYTON - reluctant to attempt to take the passing lane early in the run home.
UTMOST DELIGHT - lay in final turn and initial stages of the run home. When questioned, Trainer/Driver S. Reid stated that the filly had trialled well leading into tonight's race which was its first run for three weeks. He further stated that the filly had not travelled comfortably throughout the running and that he would be making a gear change of the addition of half blinds prior to next racing.
ENVIOUS - raced keenly when outside the leader during the middle stages.
YOUSHALLNOTPASS - tended to lay out in the middle stages when three back on the marker line.

WINNERS SHOUT - broke briefly approaching the first turn, soon settling.
COMMANDER PARIS - broke passing the 200 metres losing all chance.
LOVELY BUNDY - broke entering the first turn losing all chance.
DJOKOVIC - broke shortly after the start and galloped for a considerable distance before trailing the field.
GERSHWIN - over-raced middle stages before being taken forward three wide near the 1100 metres. Trotted roughly passing the 800 metres, losing ground.
SUNSET PEAK - held up early final turn, inconvenienced approaching the 150 metres by a galloping runner.

SPRING CAMPAIGN - had difficulty obtaining clear running in the home straight.
