MOY - inconvenienced near the 200 metres.
IDLE MOOSE - raced wide from the 600 metres. Shifted outwards in the home straight. Driver B Orange reported he did not activate the removable deafeners. Mr Orange was warned to make a greater effort to maintain a straight course.
ABOUT LAST NIGHT - tired from the 500 metres. Broke at the 350 metres.
SPOTS GOLD N GIRL - broke near the 200 metres inconveniencing trailing runners.
SUNRISE SPUR - inconvenienced near the 200 metres.
UNIQUE MARSHALL - raced wide early stages. Driver M Edmonds admitted a breach of Rule 869(2)(a) in that he used his whip in an excessive manner inside the final 400 metres. After hearing submissions on penalty, the JCA suspended Mr Edmond's licence from the conclusion of racing today up to and including 2 July 2017 (3 days).
DI'Z LUCK - Stewards questioned driver G Smith regarding the tactics he adopted on the final bend when held up for clear racing room for a short distance when there was a clear run to the outside of UNIQUE MARSHALL. Mr Smith explained that he had improved wide on the final bend at its last start and had failed to finish the race off due to the filly possessing a short sprint. Mr Smith further added that there was a clear run to the inside to follow the improving JIMS DRAGON near the 400 metres when he initially shifted inwards however shortly after this ABOUT LAST NIGHT which had been racing three wide and tiring shifted inwards denying him that run. Mr Smith advised Stewards that it was his intention to continue to drive DI'Z LUCK in a similar manner when circumstances permit.
JIMS DRAGON - broke in the score up and was back several lengths at the start.
 
Race 2PGG WRIGHTSON'S UNCUT GEMS MARES CLASSIC (MOBILE PACE)Video  Video 
ELITE EXCUSE - tired from the 1400 metres and was pulled up. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Stood down to complete one satisfactory trial.
HARD DAYS NIGHT - hampered near the 200 metres.
SAILS - held up rounding the final bend.
DELIGHT MY SOUL - driver J Cox was warned for the manner he drove near the 2200 metres when crowding inside runner. Hampered by a tiring runner near the 1400 metres.
CLASINA MARIA - held up rounding the final bend.
CMEEROCK - raced wide early stages. Over-raced middle stages. Weakened final bend.
HOPES AND DREAMS - Trainer G Anderson was issued a $50 Minor Infringement Notice after failing to notify a driver by the prescribed time.
CULLEN WHO - raced wide early stages.
KAYTEEOH DENARIO - hampered near the 2200 metres and had to be steadied. Hampered near the 1400 metres and again near the 200 metres.
BIRD OF PARADISE - locked wheels with SWEET LORESS near the 250 metres. Stewards questioned drivers M Williamson (BIRD OF PARADISE) and S Ottley (SWEET LORESS) regarding this incident. After hearing from both drivers it was established that SWEET LORESS had shifted outwards marginally when being placed under pressure while BIRD OF PARADISE had hung inwards when improving wider on the track. Notwithstanding the inwards movement of BIRD OF PARADISE, driver S Ottley was warned to make a greater effort to maintain a straight course.
SWEET LORESS - shifted outwards under pressure and locked wheels with BIRD OF PARADISE near the 250 metres.

HANNAH EXTREME - weakened final bend.
SHARKNADO - held up final bend. Driver G Smith reported he lost his whip with 150 metres to run.
VINNY GAMBINI - raced keenly early stages.
COVERED N DIAMONDS - hung inwards final bend and in the home straight.
MANINTHEMIRROR - broke briefly in the early stages of the score up.
BOUND TO IMPRESS - raced wide early stages. Weakened final bend.
CAMWELL PARK - paced roughly passing the 800 metres and broke with 600 metres to run and was pulled up. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a severe injury to the left fore pastern and the gelding was humanely euthanised.

PORT HANOVER - held up early and middle stages of the run home. Hung inwards near the 150 metres and struck the sulky wheel of SANS LE SOU. Driver R Houghton reported he did not activate the removable deafeners.
DAYLIGHT ROBBERY - broke briefly in the score up. Held up final bend and in the early stages of the run home.
INDIANA DREAMING - hung inwards throughout the home straight.
PIRATE BAY - hung inwards in the home straight.
HOTDIGGETTYCULLEN - held up final bend.

A false start was declared when the barrier failed to clear runners on the front row.
HE'S LIKE THE WIND - tired final bend. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have a poor recovery. Stewards will follow up with trainer G Smith in the coming days.
ALL LIT UP - the required veterinary clearance was received. Held up rounding the final bend.
LAUGH AND CRY - held up final bend. Broke near the 200 metres. Driver J Curtin reported the mare had been trotting roughly.
SUNDONS WISH - raced wide early stages. Trotted roughly over the concluding stages and was unable to be fully driven out.
VENETO - paced after 150 metres and had to be broken up losing its chance.
STYLISH DUKE - held up final bend. Placed in restricted room near the 300 metres.
VALMAGNE - hung inwards near the 300 metres crowding inside runner.
LEMOND - driver R Holmes was warned for starting wider on the track than his allocated position. Weakened final bend. Paced over the concluding stages. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have suffered an atrial fibrillation. A veterinary clearance will be required prior to LEMOND resuming.
DARK HORSE - driver N Williamson reported he did not activate the removable deafeners on the mare.

CHRISTOPHER BANNER - had to be steadied shortly after the start and locked wheels with HAPPY HEIDI for a short distance. Held up final bend.
HAPPY HEIDI - briefly locked wheels with CHRISTOPHER BANNER shortly after the start. Held up final bend. Driver J Cox reported that one sliding blind did not fully activate.
COMPLIANT - over-raced middle stages. Held up rounding the final bend and in the early stages of the home straight.
MONGOLIAN STORM - hung outwards over the concluding stages.
VALOR LUSTRE - raced wide early stages.
ELDOLAR - held up rounding the final bend.

DIANA HARBOUR - held up for clear racing room in the home straight.
RUM IN THE SUN - broke shortly after the start losing considerable ground. Held up for clear racing room throughout the home straight. Broke late in the run home. Authorisation of 4th placing was withheld until Stewards were satisfied the gelding had complied with the Breaking Horse Regulations. Driver J Cox was shown a replay and warned for the manner he shifted ground in the home straight.
ROCKNPOP - the connections advised the mare would be racing without hind shoes. Broke in the score up losing considerable ground.
CRADDOCK - broke near the 150 metres.
